April Vlogs Day 22 🌼 Bit of Shopping, Happy Mail, More Crochet Chickens

[Music] good morning need this to be a bit higher up don't I that's better you're balanced on a uh on the window sill on top of the tea bag jar and then on top of uh some all butter shortbread a tin of old butter shortbread that my aunt and uncle gave me for my birthday but it's perfect tight really need to invest in a small little tabletop uh tripod it's midday I've spent the morning getting stuff organized I parled up some orders which I'm going to take out now to post I have done meal planning I have sort of checked the freezer to see what we needs using up and so on over the course of the week I've organized a few domestic appointments um we've still got a problem with our built-in fridge freezer batter's about to go one moment there we are um uh yeah I can't remember what I was saying but I've I've been doing doing things and being productive and now I'm going to have a very quick lunch I'm going to have a ham and cucumber sandwich very boring but it's what I fantasy oh it's only one bit of ham left I think Dan might have had similar ideas he was in the office but um he has he has returned he's now upstairs working I'm going to have this and then I'm going to pop out to do some shopping run some errands and so on I'm going do my walk towards my 1,000 miles in a year total and do my walk a bit later this afternoon anyway I'm just thinking out loud and listing things that I have been doing which is not very interesting at all so I'm going to have my sandwich and crack on I am back from my running around and errands and shops and things I've just realized I haven't folded up the clean tea towel so I thought oh oh have I had something delivered yeah I told you do not open until your birthday oh I won't but I will open it now I'll have a look at that in a minute I know this one because of how they've SP about my surname that is definitely from my FY right what did I buy when I was out and about you can just see Lilia in the background there she's still in her pajamas at half past 2 in the afternoon well I've actually been quite productive today you have yeah we got to sort out your student finance and accommodation haven't we yeah yeah yeah yeah I bought in Boots some new ey gel they didn't have the stuff I normally use and obviously I've got my new stuff that I got from Dan for my birthday but I like to alternate so I got some of the boots own vitamin C eye cream and I got some more of my collagen serum that they do as well so I am up to date I stopped and made some purchases for the production of chicken I'm not quite sure why I'm making so many soft fat chickens it's because I've got the yarn and it's the perfect yarn and the perfect project so I'm just going to use up the yarn and make chickens however I'm going to need more stuffing so I got some stuffing at Hobbycraft I was going to try and get some really chunky red for the Combs because at the moment I'm quadrupling some worsted weight cotton is that a shot yeah which is a bit of a pain but I didn't like the one I'd rather use a red burnout blanket yarn or just something else so I'm going to stick with something else and then I went to the P shop cuz I wanted to get some cheap and cheerful pop socks as well because when I stuff the chickens I stuff it into a pop sock I couldn't get it in the pound shop but I picked up a pack of five for 4 quid insanes bees I could probably get them cheaper in Primark but I would have had to get back in the car and drive to Primark so I think ultimately this will make 10 chickens not that I'm going to make 10 chickens but if I wanted to I'd have the pop socks to do it hope they're long enough actually I've just noticed they say ankle high if not I'll give them to granny she wears these oh no they're that's that's perfect that's perfect chicken size but what I did get in the pound shop was some socks I got some trainer socks for a pound three for a pound I thought well they might be good and I also got some sports socks for a pound as well thought i' give them a go they are polyed an elastin readable mesh with arch support so I thought I'd give those a go even though they're pretty cheap and cheerful so those as well and then I've got some posts so let's have a look at the thing I'm not allowed to open to my birthday it's from Susan all the way over in the United States what on Earth Ali wishing you a lovely birthday filled with cake prco and knitting from Susan oh thank you Susan and look at at that beautiful card now what is this I think I've got to I think it pops up somehow I don't want to that on my mantle piece and then I've got something for my friend suzan so Suzanne is a fellow mother of chickens she has chickens in her back Garden she has more than me so of course it's a chickeny card oh oh more 3D more 3D oh look oh that is Happy Birthday it says bokb I can put that way that the chickens can be frolicking in front of my bouquet got a whole scene going on here it's like did you used to get those paper scenes oh I've just had a sudden memory of like we used to get these paper scenes with paper dolls and different rooms and stuff and you could make the scenes you used to bend the bottom so they'd stand up well that was that was a long long time ago when I was very small and fuzzy felt I loved fuzzy [Music] felt trip down memory L what have we got here oh it's one of her Stitch markers oh look oh it's so lovely I'm going to add this to my Stitch markers I got from Dan my yarn that I got from my friend Kay and I'm going to have a whole Alice and Wonderland themed outdoors and they are it says they are perfect for all year round juice in the garden hanging from trees fixed to a wall or fence don't know if I want to put it in the garden it's too beautiful so that is good to know that I can put it anywhere [Music] that stage today where I'm finding it hard to find anywhere in the house that doesn't have just a load of rubbish and clutter everywhere just feels cluttered any I'm going for my walk I've done loads of productive stuff today I've tried to catch up on my emails a bit I know some people have been waiting a long time me to get back to them I'm really sorry about that but I have caught up on some emails today so I'm really pleased it's just that um I find it hard to stay on top of messages um cuz I spend so much time editing at the moment but once April Vlogs is done I can go back to normal but thank you so much and thank you for being patient with me um putting me trainers on so that I'm I'm going to try to assist what was that my bookmark oh she dropped her bookmark and it's made of metal I'm going to try and do um six mile walk if I can if I'm honest my heart's not really in it I'm going to try um I'm nearly finished with my audio book with the Jane Seymour the third book in the six Tudor Queen series um so I'm likely to finish that halfway through my walk it's all right I know what I'm listening to next uh and Dan's on stand by to come and rescue me if I run out of energy but I didn't walk yesterday so I feel like I want a good long stretchy leg walk today I am now standing up and I'm also going to say goodbye because I feel like I rambled quite a bit earlier and now I'm just going to go for my walk and come home and cook dinner and collapse which isn't very interesting so I will see you again tomorrow for
