your helicopters in this that you're not around it's they're intense hello my name is anya taylor joy and today i'm going to let l ask me anything one thing i've learned about myself during social distancing quarantining is that i don't mind being alone kind of like it sometimes i feel most powerful when i am in a magic take you can't describe why it's all going perfectly but it just is and it is the best feeling or when i'm watching somebody that i love do something that they love [Music] i love to sing and i love animals i mean i'd love to say a killer whale but i don't think i actually am one i think i'm like a big cat and a hummingbird at the same time probably goodness what place do i call home um wherever i'm sleeping that night essentially be yourself simple but harder to do than you would think oh my favorite look that i've worn on the red carpet oh that's hard there was um anything that has like really beautiful embroidery or beading on it that that feels pretty good oh gosh um if i was cheesy i would say my heart but i'm not cheesy so yeah my biggest cheerleader is my mom and my dad [Music] the scene and almost famous when they're all singing tiny dancer by elton john [Applause] makes me cry every single time i wish i could drool can't draw can't paint can't just can't i feel most creative when i'm being creative or when i'm barefoot actually oh my dream dinner guest would be david bowie or amberlynn i'd just be really curious to hear what she has to say david bowie and amberlynn at the same time like that'd be fun ann might be a bit confused but that's okay i really relate to peter pan wendy and tinkerbell all at the same time it's fun [Music] my favorite comfort meal spaghetti yeah i think i really look up to my parents i really admire their love and the way that they live their lives food water arts okay the story behind my first major splurge um there was a ring there's the head of a giant lion i wanted it very desperately i bought it for myself hurt a little bit but i was like no it's worth it but it was a man's ring so it was way too big for my finger and i went out dancing to celebrate and flicked it off and that broke my heart so i had to go back and be like i lost the ring i do not know where i see myself next week but i hope i'm happy i hope i'm happy in five years time nostalgia for me is any 90s classics like kids movie anything with an animal in it like yeah i'm crying uh maybe that my first language is spanish my fans would be most surprised to know that i would love to be in a musical my ideal day i would wake up early but naturally with no alarm hopefully i'm wearing silk pajamas in my imagination i'm wearing silk pajamas make a really nice pot of coffee listen to some good music i don't really get beyond the morning i feel like the rest of the day would just happen but the morning would be really really nice i take these questions so seriously i really shouldn't um three things i want to be known for kindness being hard and hopefully fun i hope people have fun when they're around me hello i guess every movie that i've made because making a movie is so difficult it requires so many different people to pull together and so many things to go right so yeah i think every movie that's made is kind of a baby miracle so i'm really proud of those what's the latest thing i've geeked out on wait i have to think about this now i i recently really freaked out at somebody and i can't remember what it is i did a scene with bob de niro i lost my mind it was fine hopefully he you know will have me back the next time thank you so much for hanging out with me and l today please stay safe and take care of yourselves
