An UNBELIEVABLE ENDING to Subnautica Below Zero - The Architect Home World Revealed

said like me if that is your interpretation so how did your valuable scientific mind wind up infected not my mind my body perhaps you should build the next component so you came here to search for a cure does that mean the bacteria got out on your watch this subject is uncomfortable if you would like to know more i will ask that you first construct the final component this is the last piece will cybernetic hybrid incorporating design elements from more than 20 dna sources skin the outer layer of tissue has a consistency of leather the tissue is interlaced with channels of visibly glowing energy powered by the aliens internal biotechnological heart robotic arms allen has six articulated arms that are suspended around the body by magnetic levitation these arms contain independent high-speed computing systems and are capable of performing tasks independently the organic arms are considered secondary to the inorganic robotic arms these are used for mundane tasks that don't require much fine motor movement the bottom half of the arms are covered in a biocomposite plating the plating might serve as a form of armor it also appears to store leighton's energy buildups like capacitors the hoofed legs are reminiscent of several species of mountain goats the hooves are covered in microscopic hooks that aid in exploring rough and uneven terrain the four legs and the hind legs are oddly close together which explains why walking might be a secondary mode of movement for this architect form teleportation this architect body is able to teleport or blink short distances the method is likely a scaled down version of the teleportation gates but the methodology is not well understood it is likely that architect's body is able to provide the mass amount of power developers let's do this so just like sam disobeying orders that's actually incredible because it almost seems like he had a keen interest in the story of sam and it probably is because he can relate to it that's beautiful i love it i love the direction that win although i feel i feel like something bad's gonna something bad has to happen you know there's got to be that climax of the story where some like friends become enemies maybe i realized some truth about him i didn't want to know about like he plans to finish what he started by releasing the craw i don't know let's just get out of here [Music] okay we're at the surface now above the purple vents i realized that the beginning of this game no longer has us actually see this oh my god what's happening around me we're actually not part of that anymore it used to be where we started there there's a glycerate above me to the left it used to i'm gonna get hit are you kidding me stay away dude i've got i've been eaten by the shadow leviathan so many times now that doesn't even phase me it doesn't faze me seriously though what i was trying to say we don't actually see that anymore so it's interesting now we're going there i knew this base was there but if you haven't played it before then you wouldn't have known that this base is there this would be completely new that's awesome i love this story so far i'm actually really happy with how it turned out because i was worried for a moment that it was going to be something that i wasn't really into i think it worked out anyway we'll be there soon enough oh this is gonna be fun all right do i have everything i need i don't know i don't care i'm going holy [ __ ] that's a base right there is this it wait have we always been able to go here wait wait wait wait wait wait zeta said she'd handle it and then didn't lil practically begged me to drop it this is completely beyond the scope of your work you have to stop before you jeopardize your standing with the company i don't want good standing with a transgov that would do this robin tried to warn me maybe she was right and altera really is unfixable maybe i deserve better than this we all do i've synthesized the antibacterial agent i know my biochem at least well enough to do that much i've stashed some away in one of the pangling research caves southeast of the leviathan oh my god that was probably the easy part now i just have to carry out the plan focus be brave worry about what happens next after the threat is neutralized they're going to know it was me if they send me home what when they send me home yeah at least just save for everyone 20 feet thick i can get my augie bun back we can cuddle under a nice warm blanket things with robin will thaw out they always do oh my god all right i'm tearing up dude i think she'll respect this oh absolutely and then maybe i'll start my own research outfit with an awesome team i'd love to work on prosthetics again help people find peace and ease in their wait till the end of the credits we'll talk about it ah yes that's such an honor to be there such an honor okay i'm left with a lot of emotion i'm still i'm still on the come down right now let's see what happens is there anything at the end no we're back at the beginning okay that was incredible i i will say and i want to get this out of the way because i just want to praise the game right now i will say that i know that i missed potentially a few pdas that would tie a little bit robin's drive to do to make the decision that she did at the end i understand it right because we went back to uncover the truth about what happened to her about her dying i don't know if we missed anything which is very possible and i apologize profusely guys we are led to believe that it is an accident that it was an accident that just happened to have happened when she was trying to sabotage the bacterium and i didn't get to do the device that would draw the craw bacterium from the frozen leviathan that didn't that whole thing didn't happen and i was able to interact slightly with that device maybe that's leftover i got nothing she was talking about how she stored the cure uh that only a spy penguin would be able to access i didn't get to do that uh i didn't actually get to see the sea emperors either i feel like i missed a whole section that i didn't need to do i can go back and check or you guys can tell me if i if if this changes anything does the outcome change if i can actually perform those actions obliterate the carobacterium that's alive inside of the frozen leviathan with the stuff that she hid that only the spy penguin can get if i do that and then leave is there a different outcome maybe he did say tie up all loose ends and a loose end would have definitely been carrying out what sam did i got carried away and i went straight forward with leaving with alan without even thinking about it because i was way too excited we can revisit that if you guys tell me that something different happens or whatnot but i think that that's just the result of taking a different path or maybe you're given the choice to to do it or not i guess in this case i chose not to do it for whatever reason maybe we just trust altera to not let it fall out like allen did in any case what a wonderful game the music graphics the art direction the animations the voice acting everything was so good obviously i've played a lot of this from when it went into early access and the ending is not disappointing at all in fact i'm genuinely more happy with the sci-fi galactic traversing ending of this game that i am with the rocket and escape ending of the first one i am genuinely more pleased it was very sci-fi i love the phase gate i love the ship i love everything that alan did being able to control the arms and then you can tell that they've developed a relationship when she when when alan left into his own body she seemed almost like uncomfortable with that fact that it happened because she's so used to him being there they they grew there's a connection there and on top of that allen his the mistake he made by disobeying his directive of his network is identical to what happened with sam with her disobeying the directive of her network in allen's case it was the result of potential like physically his death and the death of billions of others and for sam it was the death of herself and a friend so there's obviously some kind of connection there and at the end of the day i think allen obviously is is more emotionally involved and in tune um than it's led on to be at the end when he says as long as i'm with you like that that's beautiful that's great what i like about the ending too is that she now she has done what what pretty much everyone else has been doing in this universe and trying to find space-faring aliens and interact with them and study them she now is on their goddamn like planet and the structures of it oh my god it's almost identical to the crystal caves where the fabricator was like i said before they looked very architect like right it's awesome that was an incredible ending um and i think i think everything played out very well i was worried for a long time about the game and how it was going to play out when uh the original story writer left uh they changed the story up multiple times they changed up voice actors multiple times but i think this is solid i think this isn't it was it was incredibly done i'm gonna stop right there i'm gonna be talking about it for a while i thoroughly enjoyed that and i hope you guys did
