Ammo Shortage: Get what works while you can.

howdy practical patriots and practical preppers welcome to rules house texas hey folks john practical nurse and there is lacey joe hi sweetie all right i want to talk to you about a few little things here today about some animal problems that we're all facing and kind of catch y'all up to speed as you can see there is a little river cutting through the back of my property where my range goes so going to the range today and doing some testing is out of the question but that doesn't mean i'm gonna not make a video for y'all and catch y'all up and talk to you all about what's going on ammo shortage all so this was my uh ammo purchase from academy the other day one of my friends called me and said johnny they've got emma over here and to basically let me know how much they had he sent me pictures of what was on the shelf it was really well stocked at academy in colleen texas god bless those guys over there for coming through steve the manager uh lorien who was one of the cashiers i like to go see all these people over there jason josh they're just all amazing people and i really enjoy going out there and talking to them so here's our situation folks there is a nationwide ammo shortage and there is many reasons for that shortage and i'm not going to you know kind of mix politics and business and everything with this video i'm just going to say this if it fits your rifle your firearm whatever the case may be and you have the opportunity to buy it at a good price i'm gonna tell you right now to get it here is why i was told in confidentiality with the disclaimer i don't mind you giving out this information but don't say who said it okay understood this problem we're having with ammo shortage is going to continue on for about 18 months for various reasons so i'm going to say this if if you shoot any caliber of ammunition you know and you know that it works well in your firearms and you get it and you see it at a good price grab it i don't mean to encourage hoarding or anything like that you know by all means do what i do and my friends do we notify each other when ammo is in stock right now at academy uh things like 223 and 556 and nine millimeter you're limited to three boxes that's it now 7.65 twenty two what not you could just buy as much as you wanted but the three the three that they told me the most two twenty three five five six and by the way they're considering that the same and nine millimeter three boxes and that's it so if you can find it at a good price get it if you're like me and you're constantly on a budget you know this is probably all you can get but i'm not going to discourage anyone from going out and uh not buying it or trying to try to hoard because there you john you're hoarding no really i'm not i'm replenishing what i go to the range with and a lot of my friends are telling me we're not going to the range to try to save our ammo got it but it's like exercise folks you got to keep those muscles and everything working same thing to me it's the same thing you know keeping your rifle tuned your firearm tuned knowing what to do if you have a jam of course you want with this one but uh you know just what to do if what if does happen uh as my friends say as uh scat hits the oscillator so that said folks now i'm gonna catch up to speed for those of you who don't follow my facebook page my instagram account lightning hit my house and it took out most of my major appliances to include my laptop so i'm doing everything again with my phone so bear with me um what's sad is i was making y'all a political satire video it was meant to be humorous and you know i lost all that footage when my laptop took a dive so weather permitting i will get back on that now that it's getting cooler but the rains have come here to central texas i will get back on that i promise i'm sorry you all have missed me uh there is some good things though that have come around uh i have bought some more land that adjoins to mine so i'll be using that to test out items and you know life is other than that folks life is good what do you do when when disaster hits you improvise you adapt and you overcome okay that's just part of being a survivor questions comments leave it below until i see all again giant practical nurse if you find some ammo pick it up okay stay within a budget don't break your 401k that's what x's are for questions leave below until i see you again i'm johnny practical nurse out here
