Americans Try British Candy and Snacks

hey guys it's asha welcome to it welcome back to my channel if you hear a noise in the background it's just my bird um blake she might do stuff like that throughout the video um but today we are going to be trying british candy and snacks there's a whole bunch here our friend anna from uk sent us these snacks and we're gonna try them and she left messages and everything like that but before we start the video i just wanted to say we both know that there's a lot of stuff going on right now and a lot of people are hurting um more specifically the black community because they lost yet again another person to police brutality his name was george floyd and so i just wanted to say that before i get into the actual video and in the description box i'm going to have a bunch of links to petitions you can sign and donate money to george floyd's family and sign petitions to get the other cops involved arrested because they deserve that because they're all murderers so now let's get into the video we're going to be trying these candies and snacks so we will start with this oh wait there's a letter in here somewhere so she said just read it out loud uh hey asha i hope you enjoy the large number of snacks and goodies i've sent you i know there might be too much for one video but i had to make sure that you got the majority of the british snacks and sweets i have been watching the best anna that's so nice so we're gonna try the snacks and she like attached like what it is a little description about it so this is a flake and then it has like it's like a description this is this could break like easily because it like it's got like chocolate it looks like murphy stop you're okay okay whoa wow that's weird break it in there i mean we can just like eat one half of their chocolate that's really good it's just like more milky than our chocolate is mm-hmm it's just like chocolate it's just like chocolate it's like flaky thing there's just a lot of stuff so i don't wanna anyways if we pronounce any of this wrong i'm sorry these are called squashies these are inspired by the lolly like lollipop drumstick but in a soft chewy sweet but in a soft chewy sweet instead they have different flavors but i prefer the original ones the bubblegum ones so they're raspberry and milk flavors hmm they're really squishy yeah i like it oh okay we have a chocolate bar this is called a milky bar milky bar a white chocolate bar i don't really like white chocolate i prefer milk chocolate so i never really eat this i don't really like white chocolate either but we're still gonna try it i'm still going to try it too right here i don't know i want to split that in half because i don't think i can eat a whole piece of white chocolate i don't like it i don't like white chocolate i feel like it's pretty good for white chocolate though i like this one oh my gosh crunchy this is a crunchy they have them in canada and these are so good but i think they're a little bit bigger in canada but these are so good it like melts in your mouth you're gonna have to try this it's so good it looks good so good whoa just give me that piece sorry here it like melts in your mouth the inside does like let the inside sit on your tongue so good it tastes familiar i love it crunchies are so good some of these i know because like in canada they have a lot of these so like this i don't know how you say this but arrow ariel chocolate it's like got bubbles inside you mentioned you liked it i don't know which one you've had so i bought the most common which is peppermint i've had peppermint it's pretty good so fun look at that i'm making a mess it's all right you like it you like it it's really good i thought you said it's all right no i'm excited you're making a mess oh i know it's really good i like my stuff you want that keep that okay i'm not a huge fan of mint stuff but i think it's so good let's try these those are like the ones that were broken jaffa cakes oh this isn't even open oh what's this i don't like jaffa cakes but it's a cake bottom with orange center and covered in chocolate we have a debate with these because some people think they are a biscuit but something gets a cake oh it says cakes i know but like it looks like a cookie which you guys would i mean british people would call a biscuit but it's very soft might be weird oh that's the center i'm not a huge one it's like honey on the inside it's like orange ooh that's pretty good yeah it's got like a it does taste like cake it doesn't taste like it's definitely a cake i would say a cake over a cookie that's good oh okay that looks good kinder boy now i think we have these here what you want chase wants those jaffa cake things what's your favorite bed oh what okay so there's two things my favorite is this the ariel okay so this is kinder bueno i think we might have these i'm not sure i feel like i've seen them at a store before and oh wow this is like breaking okay um that's really good [Music] it's like another butter it's hazelnut filling it's pretty cool you want it i like that oh what is this okay this is a twirl so as we can see here the uk they're like leading chocolate brand is cadbury i don't know if you guys say like that if you're from the uk but we have like hershey's and stuff here and there's this cadbury so this is all their types of like chocolate which is actually kind of good a lot of the notes have ripped off yeah some of the notes got ripped off if you're watching this anna i'm sorry oh there's so much chocolate mmm these just look like the first one kind of mm-hmm so good and chocolatey they're like way more milky than our chocolate jars that's good uk definitely sleeping in chocolate okay these are called chocolate giant digestives chocolate ones are better we dunk these in tea but you can just eat them on there on its own okay let's try oh these look good it's split one oh everything is so crumbly i don't like it why i like it it was like a simple cracker i can see why this would be good in tea yeah i could see that would be good in t-vale i don't really like it that plane we need napkins or something what's this a rolo oh we have these here we won't try these because we have these here but we will keep them because my mom loves rolos oh here we go so here's their oh their chocolate is called dairy milk okay that's like milk chocolate and this has caramel in it it looks so like fancy doesn't the packaging just look like way more fancy than they have in like purple a lot of times i can't open it because the brand is purple wow there's literally so much stuff in here guys we might have to split this up into two different sections yeah we're already at like 11 minutes so much oh don't open it all the way this candy you have to share you can't wait by yourself okay caramel i don't really like caramel so that'll probably [Music] i like it munchies i'm trying not to eat a lot of everything because i don't want to get sick because there's literally let's see i think this isn't chocolate so let's go oh chocolate too like snack oh my god these are called watsons that's such a fun name oh it's like walkers but it's the latest symbol yeah these are like cheesy flavored corn pops so these are almost like um what cheesecloth oh they're little those are cute oh they really just like cheetos no they're not they're like mini cheeto puffs i swear they taste different oh yeah what are the munchies oh these are very popular the galaxy i've seen a lot of people try those those are good you're gonna eat those later okay let's see what the munchies so these come out really easy oh yeah it's got chrome here what i just really like those mm-hmm those are good it's really good what's this that's basically the same thing i feel like okay flavors oh these are cute these are called quavers or you say quavers i don't really know they're also cheese flavor those look really good these are good they use like um ruffles like tether ruffles this is like something else to me but i can't remember so far i love them they taste like some chips oh they do taste like sun chips yeah so far i i'm loving the british like chips more chips more chips oh these are sensations by the same brand of walkers thai sweet chili i think they're basically our lay's because [Music] um i like it yeah it's very subtle it's a little bit spicy these are really good yeah those are also my mother they're called fox's party rings they broke probably no but there's some more in there oh you want one you can try it huh they're so cute you want to bite it or get enough they broke up something else it just tastes like simple i'm gonna go get water want water i don't like this you already want water hot water oh is that what you're talking about yeah all right let's do some more sweets because we just been eating a lot of chips i want more of these these are called knickknacks and they're nice and spicy they look exactly like cheetos okay yeah but like whoo i don't like him i like him i don't know it tastes like limey i like him he's like sour you're lost okay okay they don't taste spicy at all maltesers i've heard of these yeah oh there's malt teasers and teasers okay read the note okay maltesers and teasers with the malteser balls sometimes you try and throw them in each other's mouths the teaser ball is just a chocolate bar with malteser bits inside okay let's try to catch the male teasers in our mouth okay oh there's like a whopper yeah that's what i was gonna say okay ready that was a terrible throw you just threw it at my chest just eat it anyways it tastes exactly like a whopper really mm-hmm they're really good though it's a little bit better than a whopper like i said just more milky here's a teaser they're like malt balls these are so cute these are really cute look they taste the same don't they no they have little teachers in it my fingers are getting all hair all right next i love hearts this is more of like a like a candy than like a chocolate mm-hmm mostly everything we've had like most of this like what's it called what are they called sweet tarts no they're like a little teeny tiny that you put on your tongue pop rocks no i forget what they're called smarties yeah it's this wild thing mine says cheeky boy what that's like they say like cheeky like smiley or like happy like that's like how they say it i know this because i watched love island oh i mean love island uk i love it i love how it says cheeky boy um like more sour than our like sweethearts and sweet tarts whatever oh these look good what's that fruit pastiles the names honestly sound like everything's gonna be pretty gross but the names are kind of no the mall teasers that's like a cute name i feel like munchies that's a cute name twirl oh we didn't try the galaxy bar yet yeah we have to wait for that wait wait we're waiting for it these are really good anna from pastels oh they're harder than not higher than me what do you think i feel like scared does he just burp the bird yeah i mean they taste like something i remember oh they're kind of big hmm they're just chewy yeah not hard but chewy all right now here's something for comparison okay milky way our milky ways look completely oh yeah our milky ways are coming like a brown package and they're like green i don't really out of these two i prefer the crispy rolls because i like the wafer layer crispy rolls are like by a lot of people but they're very hard to find because they aren't in every shop ooh crispy roll so this is like a brand i guess first of all this looks way different than our milky way our milky ways are smaller let's see oh yeah are they way better that's completely different our milky ways have caramel inside and that's like it tastes like the milky way but without the caramel almost it's like this inside it's really good though it tastes pretty similar so good crispy rolls so these are one of her favorites and a lot of people's favorites i feel like i like these they look good oh they'll look like um what are they called twix they don't they look like too excited they taste like them too they taste good yeah i like twix and i don't know these like twix smarties i remember i've had those before i've had these too i don't really like them that much i like them i feel like they have a weird fruity flavor to them they're like our m m's the chocolate tastes different though tastes good oh yeah it does have like a more like a fruit flavor oops i like a little bit what is this oh my god there's still so much more stuff oh look well we got just so nice well we can try the galaxy bar if you want right yeah we're gonna go ahead and try this galaxy bar i think this is just plain chocolate kind of like dark chocolate for us you're sick of eating chocolate yeah you do oh it's like a big piece oh my god it's so soft is it that's pretty good i love that it's a really good chocolate here we have skips they're a little crushed up that's right what is it though skips light and milky prawn cocktail the names are so random like they don't fit oh i don't like that i don't know the flavor is just kind of weird they're so light and airy though like fluffy not like dense like our ships are just so dense i think they call them crisps in the uk these are called pickled onion monster munch the pickle part sounds good though do you like onions i said to you though all right these are interesting i'm liking all the chips so far okay i have so much hair on my finger i don't i don't like it you'll like it there's like like onions oh yeah like the aftertaste i don't like they taste exactly like front ends take it away i'm taking all the chips here today oh is that open i don't think so chip sticks salt and vinegar flavor oh i wonder if it'll taste similar to our salt and vinegar this is a new brand it's called smith's salt vinegar our salt and vinegar stuff is super strong i like this more it's not as strong yeah all right do you want it okay let's see what we have in here oh these are air butter shortbread fingers holy crap we have another chocolate bar dairy milk plain milk chocolate by cadbury which is her favorite brand of chocolate these are called giant buttons okay let's just get these out of here we have a big pile right here of the last things that we haven't tried yet and we have also a big mess so ignore the mess it's just a lot of stuff is very crumbly whatever this is a lot of chocolate and candies my head would be i'm sorry if i lived in the uk i have so many crumbs these are called giant buttons i feel like they're like chewy you know i'm just eating the what's it oh oh my god that's good it's a little bit a little milk chocolate these are so good yeah that's really good you want it no the chocolate it's so good this is called a boost i can only take so much want it's a chocolate bar with caramel and biscuit pieces inside i prefer boost pieces instead of a boost bar this is a boost bar i think there's so much like so much different stuff oh a little bit caramely this tastes like our milky way almost i don't know this is called a curly whirly i can't with the names they're so big different what is this chocolate or what it's different okay i'm so confused oh it's like chocolate and caramel oh do i have to try it yeah okay oh it's not like caramel very chewy what is that well that name actually makes sense this is like a duds right is that what they are the little like things in the little box milk duds milk does i don't like that actually oh we have these don't we bouncy no it's like coconut there you go it's called something else wait we have coconut i don't think either what they're called almond joy is what they're oh yeah i'm not trying it i hate i hate it i like it i don't really like coconuts pretty good for something coconut try this that looks great i don't know when the camera stopped recording but we were trying this time out wafer and i haven't tried it yet so it's really good okay should we try something fruity now these are called giant parma violets delicately perfumed violet sweets what why does that sound so peaceful is it gross it tastes like the smell of perfume i don't i can't get it now is it gross i don't really like it the color of it's cute but it's not it's just not something we're used to like when we're used like fruity um i just put it in my mouth and it tastes gross fruity snacks it's just like we have like a lot of flavor of fruit and i've never heard of something like violet okay these are called chewy sweets but okay these are like starbursts sorry these look is there different flavors or is it just one here i guess we'll find that oops did you get one mine's pink is this gum oh oh it tastes like bubblegum i don't know if this is gum or not let us know if you know if it's gum oh it's not good did you swallow it or spit it out i spit it out i was scared that i was gone so i just didn't swallow it why okay so here's frutella looks just like our starbursts oh but they're all pink wait there's another color right there it has like two of each color you want to try different color yeah i'll just try i want to try the lemon one i love a good lemon oh that looks like a starburst a lot more chewy than ours let's see um good yeah this is really good okay we have a couple things left we have a freddo a little chocolate thing is our whatever this is a cadbury milk chocolate shaped into a frog usually these are what you get from the shop when you are a kid i'm gonna open it upside down oh it broke whatever it says freddo on it if it's the same as the other one basically i don't want it it's just milk chocolate i feel like the chocolate is definitely better in the uk than it is like for us you know i think i've also had one of these toffee crisps in um canada so we'll see we shall see what does it say caramel and cereal crisp mixed with milk chocolate okay looks like a reese's bar right here we have fudge chase is right here he's just picking stuff up it's like a cow thing what are the cow tails yeah sorry we're just getting tired of eating chocolate right now maybe yorkie it's a dog oh this is cute oh it has little breakout pieces this love one so much oh oh it has tastes pretty good okay a solid bar of chocolate with biscuit inside when they advertised this product they said it was only for men so whenever you mention a yorkie that's the first thing someone thinks as a man i guess these are picnics i've never had one of these because i don't like raisins or the mix of chocolate and fruit yeah i don't know i don't think i do not want to try it no i'll have my mom try this because i literally just don't like raisins we have big kitkats here so we'll try that later because chase loves his kit cats okay these are a mars bar i don't know i don't think i've ever had one of these but mars has like snickers that doesn't have peanuts she said she doesn't like really like these but her dad does hmm that's pretty good this is like a milky way yeah i think that's what it's supposed to be oh that's good look at the inside of it and look at the outside of it it's the exact same i told you it's supposed to be like something of ours that's like the exact same size i have a little bit of milky way then these are they're all butter shortbread fingers which you dip these into but weren't put on to you right now so you look it says i've heard that you might have a mars bar but a different company owns them so they will taste different i hope so anyway mars is like snickers but doesn't have the peanuts inside this would be good in tea just like a biscuit well i don't like that at all it's literally so plain i don't understand how you wouldn't like it i don't like putting this can you open this for our last thing we're just going to try a little bit of chocolate plain dairy milk chocolate so basically they all say dairy milk i'm pretty sure that just means like milk chocolate for us wait how do you open this this thing fell down a minute ago if it's crooked that's why um they're so cute we made it great chocolate ten out of ten that was great chocolate all of it okay the chips all the time chasing the chips are superior probably nine i just don't like chocolate at all honestly okay guys so that is it
