it's weird I got people telling me I look like a Civil War General now [Music] going on boomerites it's good to see you uh I got to I've seen a couple comments lately and um I even got a personal DM that said hey uh have you watched the AL Murray name a country we have defeated them uh little Spiel which I remember doing that one but I went through my channel and I didn't see the reaction up anymore I don't know if uh it got taken down or maybe I deleted at some point I don't know but uh I do remember doing it but the only part of it I remember is when he goes Belgium Belgium Belgium that's like the only part I remember so I'm gonna do it again and get a little refresher course on because it's only a short video but I love Al Murray uh you guys know that I have a lot of almari reactions on the channel and I missed the guy Plus in this video which is a rare sight he actually has a beard so it's a little different look for almarie so anyway I'm gonna redo this one for you guys um that way I have it up on the channel for those of you who think I haven't done it but uh remember like subscribe do whatever you want and uh check the description below Al Murray's got his own channel you can check out his uh stuff uh on your own and uh he deserves all the attention that he gets because I think he's hilarious Al Murray I I have a very high opinion of Val Murray but name a country we have defeated and let's get a little refresher course on uh how great the British are at fighting Wars so here we go we have to feed every single [ __ ] country in the world at war name a country Gary Germany 1945 thank you very much very recent job done twice in one century before they try to get around 99 we got the [ __ ] hat trick another country please Argentina 82 no help for no one else and that of course was a war not for oil but for Penguins because we all know penguins are an essential ingredient in making Guinness yeah okay I remember that when people were I I was kind of confused about that one last time but people explained it to me in the comments when I did this one before so I did yeah I remember that one too you boil them up the white stuff floats the top job done right Another Country Place no France thank you win 1815 Waterloo we haven't heard from them since another one please Canada yeah Canada used to be part of the British Empire which means they're an ally of ours as you know being an alive us council is losing to us why else are the Canadians so miserable another one please hey aren't they Spain 5098 back to the Armada thank you sir we haven't heard from them since another one Uganda uh that was an African colony of course at one point used to belong to the Germans in 1919 the League of Nations as you know in the retreated verse the world is redified and the African colonies were partitioned and separated between France and uh and Great Britain we got Uganda as a result it simply it had been defeat the Germans we've got given Uganda which sounds like [ __ ] winning there without even having to go there result another one please another one I love how he rationalizes all the ones that are even you know suspect um for anybody who's watching my channel for the first time I like to pause a lot so apologies if if you're not into that kind of thing but I like talking about stuff and uh one of the great things about Al Murray is his crowd interactions it's it's Bar None the guy not only is crowd reactions but he's also a very intelligent man and um hey United States all right okay you're thinking war of independence America finds itself free of Great Britain yet they see that as a win we see that as a lucky [ __ ] Escape in the War of 1812 to 1814 the Royal Navy sailed at the Potomac River Set Fire to the White House the American said the whitewasher to cover up the fire damage which is why it's called the White House the American suit for peace at the end of 1814 even though they won a battle at the end of the war they the war's already over the stupid [ __ ] were still fighting even though they'd already lost and that is America and they've been working for us ever since another one please I like how you said we they we've been working for them ever since that's cool uh I think now that's coming back to me uh reacting to this but uh I grew up in Maryland and when he mentioned the burning down of the White House which was pretty wild and uh totally caught us off guard uh the president actually retreated from the White House and stayed in a town called Brookville which is where I was born and there's a house still standing there which uh is is called in the town of Brookville the White House for three days because uh the president stayed there for three days uh before he fled further north because the British were coming after him uh they stayed in town to parduki a little bit um these idiot Americans let us take their white house so easily so yeah um here in the states 1812 for some reason it's taught like when I was a kid it was taught as like a victory um even though I know it's not it was more like if the Battle of New Orleans which is what he referred to the fighting after uh the piece uh was already attained because the news news didn't travel as fast so the British had already sent that Force to New Orleans but um if it wasn't for that battle we probably would be teaching it as a loss because that battle we kind of like even though the war had already ended the Battle of New Orleans was a major victory for the United States and it gave us a big morale boost so because of that battle we like to think that we won that war one really it's two things one most of that war we got our butts kicked and then two um the War of 1812 from the British perspective was more of a sideshow um because of all the uh fighting against Napoleon that was uh the main concern of the United Kingdom at the time so most Americans don't know that stuff but uh which is a shame because I think everybody should know a lot more history especially from a place uh where you come from um but sadly that is lacking amongst Young Americans these days um it was lacking amongst Young Americans even when I was a kid but I was always interested in history so anyway enough Jabron Belgium Belgium Belgium creation of the SE that came out of the end of the Napoleonic Wars either fall out of Waterloo 1815 it was a duchy of the duchy of burgundy of course in the Netherlands states were divided up divided up to two buffer zones in order to prevent any one single power taking control of the Netherlands which is of course our dangerous flank between Germany and France and we don't like European Hagen we've won power and that's by Belgium and Holland will cut up to two and a buffer zone created and I think if you create a country out of thin [ __ ] air you've won another one please oh it's brilliant I forgot about that one yeah three but folded early didn't they another one please another one please hey there's a lot of hoping so used to be a German Colony or a food in my previous answer hello please brilliant [Applause] hey no way they used to be the Vikings left we saw them off in the end didn't we and look at that that's a come down once they were Vikings now look at the Norwegian so that's a [ __ ] collapse isn't it horny helmets to horny helmets Japan we've got the about Japan um maybe it's because uh somebody's outside doing uh uh lawn stuff outside I think it's The Neighbor Next Door doing um either some heavy machinery gardening or something out there but I didn't quite catch that but uh sometimes there's things that are said that I don't quite catch but somebody let me know what he said about Japan Peru what language they speak in Peru sir Portuguese no they don't actually they speak Spanish yeah which means in 1512 when Pope Julius the 12th divided the new world into two lives two sections down the line longitude 129 and stuff for these that went to Portugal which is why they speak Portuguese Brazil the stuff for the West that went to Spain which means Peru was technically part of Spain when we defeated Spain 5098 back in the Armada so we've done pro without having another visit chopped up God I'll give it can't argue with it brilliant I love Val Murray he is fantastic he's got his own channel go subscribe to his Channel please um I'm subscribed I've been subscribed to this channel for quite some time but uh although I haven't been getting notifications from them so maybe I need to uh well I can do that later but Al Murray crowd react the interaction with the crowd bar none he's the best and um so intelligent I've and apparently he speaks German too I've learned that over the few reactions that I've done to Al Murray he speaks fluent German and uh apparently there's some show that he did where he's actually like narrating like uh World War II stuff I believe um I've been told that before I can't remember the name of the show but I'd like to check that out as well but he's the pub landlord I know he's playing a character but it's brilliant character and it's it's nice to see him with some hair on his face he usually has like no hair on his head except for his eyebrows so it's a little different look it's probably from uh this particular video is probably from like 20 years ago or something when he was tuning up the uh the gov character so but anyway I hope you enjoyed the reaction re-reaction uh I did want to get a refresher course on this because I do remember it being very funny I think the funniest part for me was when he um he said if you could create a country out of thin air then you've won which it's hard to argue with that but uh anyway like subscribe do whatever you want you guys
