Amazing what you find on trash day!

all right good morning everybody and welcome to the Florida strapper Channel well I got this straightened up a little bit you got a couple bolts replaced oh reach the rope get it over here where I can actually get some use out of it yeah I believe them I have to make a trip to the hardware store and get some heavier hardware to put in my sides so it quits breaking free cuz I've actually had to replace bolts in it a few times I got some really long ones in there oh that's dangerous all right let me get the mule fired up let's get ready to go find some junk looks to be a beautiful day actually it's cooled off a little bit more of this morning a little cooler than it has been to pass on a week or so probably our last little cold snap before spring really sets in because it has been warm the past week or so really warm I mean actually I've actually been turning the air on at night when I go to bed because it's just a little too warm for me all right folks let's go see if we can put some scrap metal in the back of the truck make us a load to the scrapyard because I do have some things I picked up yesterday so I got enough to make about a load in the backyard so let's go find some job portable hand dolly things [Music] have to check that one out a lot of times those things are all broken up just don't work right but occasionally I find a good one and that's an easy sell actually all right down the road looking for more a little more for the back of the truck and really slow so far [Music] [Music] [Music] but hey slow starts can finish pretty good so we're gonna keep looking that's my Chinese I spot shiny the best kind of shiny [Music] [Music] longer than it looks well another faucet and that's actually a little bit of aluminum I can come off throw this up here amongst the mess and I goodies in there well down the road we go [Music] take me an old bicycle wheel [Music] and the way we go something else [Music] vacuum cleaner cord [Music] so a little more for the cord pile [Music] it's always a good sign when you see vacuum cleaner cords still on the vacuum that means another scrapper is not five minutes ahead of you all right we're still looking though something but I'm not even really sure what it is looks like a refrigerator yes I will take it [Music] a little bitty one oh I apologize if it's picking up a lot of if the camera is picking up a lot of wind noise it's a little breezy this morning and I still ain't found anything to suppress the wind noise and I've been looking for some kind of wind sock for the GoPro and I haven't had any luck finding anything all right well here's something that I can't say that I've ever run across before an old dirt bike maybe maybe [Music] [Music] seem to be too heavy [Music] [Music] of course it don't want to roll [Music] [Music] oh it's in there anyway huh [Music] [Music] [Music] well it just goes to show you you can find anything scrapping [Music] [Music] [Music] alright what else oh my god besides out of breath [Music] pizza boxes [Music] ha I better put a makeshift tailgate across here [Music] [Music] so nothing comes slide now that would have been nice but I don't think it's gonna happen that's an interesting fine got me out of breath and away we go what else to add to the truck [Music] oh come on now [Music] and another little mini-fridge [Music] Oh actually looks like a wine cooler [Music] I know they put handles on these things [Music] under the Turk close to the cord [Music] refashioned my makeshift tailgate [Music] well a couple more things actually I uh I took that dirt bike and I decided to take it home yeah shocks [Music] odds and ends are Dwyer [Music] that box next to the recyclables oh another old tremor some more leaf springs these are always good paddy [Music] automotive scrap is generally good scrap and there's a fan over there [Music] now that I got my strap buried under leaf springs [Music] [Music] oh the struggle is real [Music] just got that dare to try to keep those fridges from moving around [Music] ah I once screwed on that's all right we'll take part of a fan [Music] go ahead and take that off theoretically [Music] drop my cutters of course into the mess [Music] and down the road I don't know something how long something I guess garbage is garbage hold this maybe [Music] let go of it and wipe myself [Music] that's a little smaller [Music] and away we go I spot something hanging out are the blinds still on it please say no No and look at that they even separated this steel part from the aluminum part I hear the garbage man coming to [Music] you know messing around with that dirtbikes kind of put me behind on my my scrap route but hey man it was a dirt bike don't come across one of those bury off it's alright I got a couple more roads who knows let's see what's next alright well all done let's go dump some junk come back a little bit Oh amazing it all gets tied up [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right [Music] let's go get a ticket something on the way home think they're just metal chairs yeah I see rust they're metal they're just steel and away we go a little more on the way home piece of closet shelf [Music] nope garbage this thing has been sitting here for over a month that is a track off of a bobcat no I cannot scrap it because even though there is some steel involved into it it is all coated in rubber and I actually like first seen them I asked the scrap yard about it and they said no way [Music] because then things are heavy but no sense in picking it up if I can't scrap it all right to the house let me go get the rest of the junk I got it home and we'll make it second line I got my second load to gather all the stuff I picked up yesterday afternoon at least before the my side rails busting got a couple lawnmower carcasses this one I'm not even gonna try to fix barbecue grills and chairs microwave a few odds and ends there are more for the load anyway so let's get to the scrapyard get it unloaded get the ticket and get paid for the day dump some junk strap right now come on [Music] [Music] everything loaded out and paid out so what did we end up with well first load was 280 pounds paid 1750 second load was 420 pounds paid 26 25 so a total of 43 75 today a bad haul of 10 shred actually did get a couple cords another faucet i think only got a little bit of aluminum not much in the back so not a bad day kind of a shaky start this week but i think we'll turn it all around but going back out later on this afternoon looking for more so that's gonna do it for me
