This speech was absolutely amazing. I watched it on a whim a day or so ago and was moved by how powerful it was. Not only was he eloquent and accurate with his delivery, he’s ungodly humble and gives due credit to all of his peers. An absolute stand up fucking man and a legend to boot

Great speech. 2/2 was KFOR 4B, I was KFOR 4A. We went to Iraq in 2003, he went in 2004. Seeing him then looking at myself, the title we were soldiers once and young has never been more bitter sweet. Young guys out there better embrace your youth, it goes quick.

Although I may never go to another country and experience the horrors those men did, I’m honored that I even belong to the same organization that elevated them to that level of sacrifice.
