hello guys that I will show you how to fight potatoes and for that you need potatoes sliced in sunny circles like this and maybe half an onion same thing same circles and then after that you heat the oil you heat the oil and the oil has to be very very hot and once the oil starts giving off smoke that's when you will put the potatoes into the hot oil and I will show you what to do next okay the oil is so hot it's almost starting to smoke and then I will take the sliced potatoes and slowly [Music] [Applause] I'm starting to now I'm starting to cry it's very hard to oil has to be very very hot so you get that golden crystal look and these are the potatoes I have some but bad potatoes inside well I think that's okay I didn't want to choose the good ones from the bad ones but anyway but you need a lot of oil just like you can see now once they start frying you take some salt okay you take some salt and you add it to the potatoes that's it you leave it like this for maybe five minutes well I will I will tell you when to stop usually you start when when when the bottom of the potatoes start to become golden so you can have to check from the side like this so I will show it lenient when you zoom in this is the edge so you usually take a spoon or something like this spatula and then you check it we check the bottom of the potato if it's golden and then it's good if we're gonna do the next step so for now so for now we will leave leave this like this for maybe maybe about five seven minutes okay it's still frying it's been maybe like two or three minutes now since I added the potatoes to the hot oil I forgot now we're gonna have to add the slides onions like this on top you just add it you don't have to stir it you just add it like that and then you keep it so and then you keep it like this so we fry it like I said until you see that golden crispy look on the bottom of the potatoes once you start seeing that I will show you how to flip the whole thing at the same time well now you just leave it salt onion but there is nothing else that's it okay it's frying it's still crying I haven't touched it since I added the onions so it's still frying we still wait we wait until the potatoes get golden on the bottom and we check it by taking one potato and checking it on the other side if the let's if the edge potatoes are crispy even if they're not golden that means the middle wants the potatoes in the middle are probably golden so for now we wait for maybe 2-3 minutes but the total time for frying like this is about 7-8 minutes total times 7 8 minutes on high flame so we wait okay so it has been maybe about seven eight minutes and by the way I'm using corn oil to fry these potatoes corn oil no vegetable I mean no what is it called now olive oil non sesame oil just plain corn oil okay just for the sake of this video I will use my tongues to take some one of these potatoes and see okay it's crispy it's crispy it's hard it's hard it's crispy okay once once this happens now be prepared for the real deal of this lesson I will show you how to flip the whole thing without using anything I mean without using a spoon so now I will show you how to flip it so watch okay now I will show you how to cook the potatoes so you take an empty pot like this it doesn't have to be hot just an empty pot you can use anything you take a plate I hope you can see it we take a plate you pour out the oil into the pot like this and then I can't explain it but you're gonna pour out the oil like this now you flip it you see okay now you take this whole potato and then put it back onto the without and then you pour back the oil that's it the the flame was on high the whole time now you leave it for three minutes maybe at most five minutes but five minutes is I think too much but three minutes good three four minutes is good after that your potatoes will be ready as you can see it's golden crispy okay so you leave it on the other side for three minutes three minutes at most and then there will be ready so see you in three minutes okay it's been three minutes now it's time to remove the potatoes and put them onto the plate same thing we're gonna do this time we take a plate and we can turn off the heat this time we take the plate for our toil okay like this all the oil okay now we flip it and that's it the potatoes are ready and it's already strapped onto the plate so yep it's ready that's it it's golden the onions are golden except this one we throw it out so everything looks good let me taste one okay it's crispy mm-hmm hmm this is delicious so
