Oh where am I going again oh is this jump again crap no oh my god somebody signed me to a contract I really need to go pro with this game what's up guys and welcome to Rock of Ages - now many of you guys might remember that I have played Rock of Ages on the channel before and if you haven't seen it it was a super unique very silly game about rolling a boulder down a hill to crush your enemy really no easy way of describing it I get a feeling that this one is not gonna be any different from the first but that's ok because I really enjoyed the first so I figured today we could check out a bit of the story campaign and if it ends up being interesting maybe I'll play more of it we're gonna hang out here with the Atlas and God hey Atlas you might want to be careful with that that yep that's expensive that's got an idea ok we're just gonna come a-ha a-ha the Sun into existence atlas you're looking a little bare down there a little bit like a Barbie but God is just gonna draw a unicorn and you screwed it up okay that's what's gonna see it nope nothing is here you can't try to make sense of these right oh yeah that's a problem oh it's me and my boulder no my Boulder that's not the world nothing to see here God oh so were you gonna be my first opponent no I thought he would use the world as his boulder oh oh nevermind we're taking like the entire game is taking place on the world on his back I seem to be stuck on this little cloud and I can't get past unless I take part in the Oxfordshire tutorial so I guess we can do that I probably don't know throwing giant boulders down a hill in the previous sleep what did I just say how would you defeat the British enacted a new koobideh edema nerve will key plus the moaning needles in a boozy stone if you use a giant boulder how many times must I explain this you're just trying to get excused from class aren't you well I tell you Wow they're here mother I never seen a real boulder before cray now maybe we have a chance against King Richard's army hey King Richard army it's that one coming here to kill us I got him oh I got him for the other three Oh dick that is just that is a dick move Richard you know what it's not okay you know what maybe I will take part in this tutorial I was thinking I don't really need it I understand the game I can probably explain it as I play but this is one of those games where I feel like they do a better job of explaining it because it's way more interesting this way the tutorial okay never seen Polly on anybody not Machado the victim of beautiful geez we magnifique gervalis smoosh thank you crazy leopard man I don't know who that was but okay so the entire point to the game is to maintain momentum don't hit anything on the way and then whack into the enemy base and then you'll send out another Boulder but the thing is he's gonna be doing it at the same time okay and he'll be doing that to my base new way plus a lay thanks buddy okay so yeah like I said I got a maneuver around the stuff that he places maintain momentum if I get hit by like in the enemy or something like that my Boulder will get a little smaller so won't be able to gain as much momentum my army is ready okay so I can send mine but he's gonna give me as much time as I want so I want to probably block off this little hole right because then he's gonna have to either go through or over my towers there and that'll slow him down or beat up his stuff there's another choke point here so maybe we can put how do I rotate oh okay I'll put the catapult here so when he comes through he gets hit and then a couple more of those something good and then I'll put a whole bunch down here by the end because that's where I want him to lose momentum the most that's where I really want him to get screwed up this should be fine I think I probably don't need this many defenses it is a tutorial oh no nevermind I do have a limited amount of gold I didn't even see that okay so my defenses are set up there a little bit excess but we should be okay and then whenever my army is ready I can go now next time I'm not going to wait before launching my attack uh yeah you know even care because my bolt is ready to he he went through my castle and it ended up making him smaller so oh my Boulder is getting built you can see in the bottom left-hand corner it is being chopped down so he just hit my castle I've hit his castle once as well and now we're ready okay so it was his army that I let loose not my own that won't happen later on oh no he's building stuff he's using my strategy get out of here dude I just ran over somebody on the back of an elephant oh no jump jump alright we're good you can lose more crap guy the way sucka you can lose momentum a little bit but it's mainly at the end that you want to keep it like right here then we're just gonna ha ha ha one less damage in the last time that's fine okay let's get some defenses up so we can replace you that was a tree I didn't want a tree we want want castles lots and lots of castles you can go through all of these that seems like a good idea even though in reality like I said I should be putting them down here preferably because I crap okay he's know I'm ready work we're going screw it the defenses aren't the important part of this game I feel like what did he do we built walls oh that is cheap nunu drop again oh crap really gonna scream from falling that fire I think that makes my Pole door a tiny bit smaller yeah or a little bit less health so that's an issue but oh I just got why would lightning affect a boulder get out of here elephant I'm going for it I'm in it to win it I'm coming for you is this the last one I need you ready to get smushed little man I told Napoleon Javaid to smoosh did it and I'm gonna stomp on you because why not ten outta ten tutorial not gonna lie so now we can go wherever you want we go down we can go up very open-ended surprising okay let's go down I think I'm seeing five Stargate down here where as is attending Stargate if you go up I don't know what the stars mean what is this the springboard trap push boulders away spring boards are vulnerable while traps reset oh it's a new unit that I picked up oh that wasn't a level that's cool oh I'm seeing now so I can make my way around the map some things I can access for free and then other things are blocked off by towers that there's a tower down here if I want to get to that new unit the trebuchet what is this it CAD does good sure I'll take it why not Evan an app with my Boulder and my cow but two BFFs okay I was gone oh I told you guys not to mate when I was asleep and now you pissed off the burning giraffe we are in some kind of what Oh aren't you so crazy burning giraffe okay ie yeah bring it on burning giraffe I thought we were gonna face like a like ancient figures and gods and stuff like that no just burning animals so once the cow makes its way around the Giants and boobs it should get caught in this straightaway littered with elephants and towers yeah that makes a lot of sense don't even worry about it the flaming giraffe will totally eat it so I'm gonna make my way around saying boobs as well what is that what are you excuse me I'm in the sand Oh what oh you like to stop stuff out stop shooting me with arrows mr. elephant I need to get out of the sand how okay no we're good we're good why arrows hurt me I don't really understand but we're gonna make this jump that's right we're on the straightaway okay that was a good one cuz that was great no the stupid say it it slows you down and makes it really difficult to go anywhere and do anything I think I know what I'm doing though think I know what I'm doing mm okay yeah you see he's got like explosives and giant weird sphinx things and a lot of annoying is this what what did I just is it dead end I just ran over something I don't know what that was I went the wrong way okay that I don't know if that was his or part of the map but damn you fan do you mean cannons okay you know what I'm just gonna he hit my base already really freakin giraffe why are you so good at rolling boulders you don't even have arms or just gonna yeah there we go hundreds 95 damage not bad how did my defenses do did he run through any of them yeah it looks like he had to go through a ton of them all right well then I definitely want to set them back up because they seem to be working what do you mean the cow is rolling already I'm not done yet why does the giraffe have faster bolder workers than I do it's a giraffe okay no we're good I'm hoping this time that I can screw him up between the sand cleavage so I put a couple of castles over there he seems to have a similar idea so we're just gonna go this way screw the sand it's a lot better than getting blown up what is all this out she okay get out of the way excuse me we're gonna have to take the low road this time wind turbines every time I go through something is gonna make my fold or a little bit weaker taking damage I don't like that what I think yeah we're all right every new boulder every new round I should say you get a new Boulder so I can afford to take a little bit of damage I'm gonna say if I go in the middle of the sand I'm gonna get sucked up by something oh there he is I didn't know there was like a crossing no no no no oh yes MLG boulders there we go 184 damaged and he's still rolling yes okay we have the advantage and my folder workers are working faster than his that's what you get your F man if you're not gonna pay them with anything more than leaves Oh No whatever giraffes eat I really don't want to get hit by whatever that giant furry thing is so we're just hi sorry people that was the fans fault I totally didn't want to run you idiots over and I kind of went on in these idiots over though no new new okay we're good we are we are super good this time I'm actually gonna make it around all your dead you're so dead I'm gonna smooch you but you're still smoosh like a giraffe and now I'm gonna dance on your corpse it's a little much but you know what the people seem to rejoice I've freed them from their burning tyrant you're welcome uh-huh there we go okay so now I can go down here is this a new unit it is the whale that uses powerful suction to take boulders okay you're gonna know unit over here as well the trebuchet scattershot with great range cannot hit a nearby boulders and cannot turn oh I feel like I should probably go back up and face off against something a little bit easier what is this okay this looks like it has water I have a whale what are we doing I have a lovely lady picking the apples oh it's Joan of Arc didn't notice you without all the fire my bowl they're just having a cup of tea hey guards wrote pretending to be a fighter jet again that's cool God's not giving you a calling Tim to kill me please oh god no okay she's she's batshit crazy all right so my finger oh all right she was picking me apples and now I'm just gonna fight her I see how it is the biggest thing is I don't want her to have momentum down near my base so I'm gonna put a whole bunch of towers here that way coming down the final straightaway she'll have dislikes down with a trebuchet we have a bunch of whales just a whole ton of whales I don't know if they're gonna do anything or not we'll find out as soon as my workers start earning their money okay there we go I took the cow from the giraffe I didn't take the workers they weren't up to snuff so okay rude I have a cow stuck to me sorry cow imagine what the cow Boulder being stuck to a cow what was that is that a fan that I just missed do I'd never see the fans am i completely out to lunch was she hiding behind a wall or something yeah Trixie all right I don't know what that was but it hurt oh we can like make a jump and then another jump and okay you know what maybe hold off on that MLG contract wish I had more time to admire the backgrounds in this game they're so freakin pretty like the entire game is so unique in art style and gameplay now that I think about it this seems like a map where if you just take it slow and steady you're gonna beat the opponent all you have to do is not screw up get to the end get your momentum on the final straight and then skip in 181 damage I'll take it and she seems to be in the middle of nowhere defenses oh we have a bunch more money for defenses can I throw defenses down below if she's not oh she's not even here yet oh so if you're fast enough you could actually like patch up that'd be amazing all right I'm gonna put a couple of whales there and another trebuchet I want to see if these trebuchet Dee's can just demolish her which gets sucked up by the whales easy this map is so much easier than the last one she's got almost no defenses and I'm coming for her next round Clyde Fred if you could chip away at that Boulder just - there we go just a little bit faster I would really appreciate it all right final straight I really want to get these explosives I feel like there's so much more useful than the towers because they still make you lose all your momentum why is this always happen I swear this a fan there that I'm just gliding past yep there is okay you know what screw you like I've been trying to say for the past five or six times now they make you lose all my goddess springboards can I please get my thought out they make you lose all momentum but they also deal damage to your wrong so they're very similar so they're very similar to the tower in that regard except strictly better oh it's another one of these things I never did find out what they're for oh it's money I want money did I go through that last time I don't know maybe it gives me more money to buy defenses I don't know either way I collected it I'm getting real pissed off by these fans does it even matter because my whales are gonna suck her off and then I'm gonna smush sure what that didn't finish things she doesn't have any health left okay you know what whales there you go the whales are great let's just sit here and watch her struggle for a little bit you know what she needs more whales oh she fell off again no she didn't she's struggling she's working on it she's gonna go through these towers and yeah and lose all momentum absolutely oh no and she's got fall-off and you know what when she gets back up I think I'll have some towers waiting for lion-o Boulder should have worked last time but now I know to look out for the spring traps and the fans and I'm just gonna plow through everything okay you know what that guy was pretty sweet uh-huh I somehow make it when I don't expect to all right no no we're good we're just slow it on down I think there's another mind to my left I should check the map because I technically get an overhead look at it while I'm waiting I just never think to excuse me pardon me out of the way okay Liz here catapult very new new there so far to the side that you just you can't get over to them this is such a powerful unit I'm gonna see if I can smoosh them I probably out okay nope screw you screw your lightning and screw your Balder ere we go that was strictly revenge that was unnecessary but I just felt like it was important to send a message before I smoosh her in her own court that's right you dance for me you little odd legged person mm that's the stuff you're welcome everybody I made it I'm now dancing on her you should have just kept getting me apples did i unlock over here this uh-oh with the explosives yes that's exactly what I wanted okay so let's try one more battle I don't know where there are like random gates is a five star gate over there I have three stars I don't know I guess you earned oh yeah I earned one star because I did normal you get another one if you do the war mode whatever that is all right let's try Bologna I like Bologna what's up guys oh you're just playing bocce ball okay Copernicus don't need to be a spoil sport about okay kick move so am I facing off against him or not yep Copernicus the sore loser all right you can bring it on we definitely want to bring explosives and whales trebuchet jeez I think did a good job towers yeah I don't really care that much about the elephants I think that's probably good and then her balloon Boulder was really bad yeah I don't really want the cow or the balloon Boulder I think happy Boulder will get the job done and we should be good this is barely a multiplayer game too you can have more than one person bowling rolling against an opponent so what is all this why does this move this map is really weird come on guys I don't need it to look perfect it's going through somebody's castle door there we go okay so it looks like it's a whoa okay there's a bit of wind get it back wind you get a whole lot of speed and then ow was that shot me very rude I think we need to go in through these I see he's not even rolling yet and sorry sorry that's my bed no we're good and then I think it's just this over and over again so hope got him we're good oh-ho dodged those arrows and yep next as a drive but giant stone but okay um okay I'm waiting for the Canaan to launch me off the map and then I'm gonna be a real upset because there's no way I can control that we're witches why look you can see the Colosseum in our road okay suck it all right here we go here we go this map is so pretty all right I should be paying attention should be rolling through people's homes my bad sorry okay and then that's the castle so it's pretty straightforward map 172 damage I'll take it we're just gonna slap him with another lightning strike real quick and then I'll go home he's so far behind I flew through this map it like I'm flying through these idiots out of the way jerk holes I don't even know if I should be doing this probably not I think it no it doesn't hurt my Boulder we're good hmmm okay I think we're almost there yep this is the final straight and he's not even rolling his second Boulder yet oh oh oh look at the defenses look at that now okay lost a little bit of momentum 159 damage though one more good one might do it I'm curious at what point you'll get to see boss battles again because boss battles in this game were above and beyond ridiculous I'm sure they haven't gotten rid of them there's no freaking way because they were some of the most fun maybe that's what you need the stars for to get through the gates I'm barely paying attention to this level I'm just like looking at the surroundings and enjoying the remixed classical music no problem dodging arrows or faults or whatever you want to call them did you see that dodge scatter shot got nothing on me you guys gonna do about it huh oh okay you hit me a little bit that's okay though I'm getting shot out of a cane and arrows are not my number-one concern so eat oh oh oh since when why would it not let me make this yeah see now I make it with tons despair but it's the same cannon shot I don't get it it doesn't matter either way hopefully just died you just die really do you hear that Boulder workers you see they're launching it the people are anxious they're gonna revolt ooh I'm gonna be cutting your pay so freaking hard and feed you to the way it'll stand I know what you're thinking whales don't eat people but don't be so silly my whales that will suck whatever I tell them to I'm like a whale pimp it's amazing and then we can still dodge everything why are they look random people in the streets as the game goes on I like that I can smoosh them it's just I don't understand why does it make a whole lot of sense I guess if you destroy a building they appear or something like that because I have destroyed a whole bunch of buildings okay lost a little momentum but again that doesn't matter until you're at the door right I asked at a shot get out of here okay trebuchet x' can suck it oh my god trebuchet zkn super suck it - so many of them just jump jump and dodge and we and dodge cropsy doodles okay that kind of hurt but I think I made this jump no problem oh yeah it's over it's it's so over you know you can beat up happy Boulder but he's gonna keep getting back up and smooching you hey new would you like to play a little more bocce ball you could be the bocce and I'm the ball and I'm gonna kill all the people oh I wanted to roll through them as well pretty sure you can yeah I'm just gonna dance Anya my legs are very muscley probably all that victory dancing I'm doing but I think that's gonna be it for this episode of Rock of
