Alex Seeley - How I Came to Know God as Father

and I actually came to know God his father in my actual earthly father died and I had a really great earthly father and so I just kind of defaulted to him for everything you know it was always him him him and so I always related to Jesus but I'm never really related to God the Father because I felt like that position had been filled but I was 31 and my dad passed away with leukemia and I actually longed to hear his voice one day I was so burdened for his voice I remember thinking to call his voicemail on his cell phone that had been left behind and I thought I'll get to hear his voice and I accidentally pressed my father-in-law's speed dial instead of my actual dad and I heard this live voice which kind of freaked me out and I just said oh sorry dad I wasn't meaning to call you I'll talk to you later Dale hung up the phone and I burst into tears because I realized I can't talk to him yeah I know it was at that moment that I felt the whisper of God say but I'm better yeah I'm gonna be your father for love that and I've discovered a facet of father God in that place now it is such a beautiful spot to go into my dad was a natural provider for us but in that from Psalm 45 now from 31 to 45 I've watched father God overly provides for me because of the connection that I've had with him and I've been able to relate to him and so it's just a beautiful thing to be able to discover God the Father because I think I'd always just placed him over here right even though I knew he was good hi everybody I hope you enjoyed this video subscribe today and you'll never miss a new upload thank for being a part of our better together community
