whenever I'm developing a teen solo Sheldon Wolin I'm did you also live in I mean nabina muhammad in quarter he was of a community that he had a Austin innovation that in ilium between a mother what is the first hadith witness okay this hadith is one of so many where the prophet alayhi salaatu wa salaam seeks refuge in allah azza wajal and when i say one of so many if you go and try to list the number of hadith where the Prophet seeks refuge in allah azzawajal you will find tens of them literally a lot of them and you wonder why does the prophet alayhi salaatu son so many times repeat the word a lama in ero Ljubica and what does it mean to seek refuge in allah azza wajal seeking refuge is expressing your poverty your need your helplessness by proclaiming that you are in desperate need of Allah's help and the things that we need help in are so many so the Prophet used to as you see allahumma Naruto becoming & hamill hazard when I see well Casa will go Cleo and Ruben Bala write a novel about a region different narrations at the end Allah who mainly are Auto Bakr he used to say I seek refuge in you from al-amin lion firm knowledge that is not beneficial whenever sin Latasha and a soul that is not never fulfilled what they are watching lattice mark and a supplication that you do not respond to when an Iranian lat and I that does not weep Carla Asha a heart that does not feel submissiveness and who sure if you go on you will find that even when we go to the toilet we say allahumma inni Ljubica mineral hook vol Hawaii male and female Devils and that this goes on and on and on which means that we must memorize these doors by heart why because it is our connection with allah azzawajal when we do not have this connection with allah then allah has abandoned us yeah how you complete yep I you varaha motika ass tarrif let a kidney do not abandon me do not leave me to myself not even a blink of an eye look at that to kill me in NFC perfe time how is that when you think that you can stand alone that you're powerful that you're healthy that you're knowledgeable that you can depend on yourselves without Allah help then you have been abandoned by Allah so many times and this is not related to the hadith but it is related to our our peda so many times I say I can do it what is Nike's logo just do it no it's not to you who does it we cannot move a single step without a Las permission so people usually attribute whatever success they have to themselves so we usually say last year I managed to make so much profit for the company and I achieved so many project and I everything is to me and this is problematic because the moment you attribute the success the work to yourself to your organization are than Allah you have committed shirk - Sheikh Abdullah our best may Allah be pleased with him talks about the scenario when a person has a house and the burglar was about to break in but because of the duct of his neighbor started quacking the burglar was afraid and ran away so he Abdullah not bath may Allah be pleased with him says when someone says had it not been for the duck of our neighbor my house would have been broken into whoever says this has committed shirk therefore we need to proclaim we need to announce our poverty our humility to allah azza wajal and that we need him to defend us and this is why the Prophet used to always say allahumma inni arabic i seek refuge in you from what from any type of evil any type of harm any type of things that would come in my way and hence i express a las greatness i lost power and strength and i also confess of my shortcomings and of my weaknesses so what are the eight things that the prophet used to seek refuge in our in salatu salam from seek refuge in allah from first of all from worried what's the arabic word i'll ham ham ham and the other word is worry and sorrow al hasn't so these are related Allah says in so many places and of Quran father how fond alayhim wala whom he has the noon you know this ayah all of you so what does it mean fella hopefully him that they have nothing to fear in the future there the markers are dead la Jornada him there's no things to fear in the future and the day of judgement what a whom has a known and they do not have anything to be sorry for in the past so whom they have left behind family's wealth they do not feel any regrets or sorry for them so we go back again to the hadith Allah we seek refuge in you from al ham ham is anything that occupies your mind and makes you worried and usually it is of futuristic characteristics it's something in the future while al hasn't is of the past you're afraid of something that might catch up with you you've done in the past this is hasn't but ham worries is something that is futuristic and it is something that you feel and no one can live without worries every one of us has to have worries and this type of worry or these worries are within your chest and most people cannot see them but it appears on what we say you can find out by what people say and sense that they have things to worry the good part is that such worry allah azza wajal it raises our sins with if we have worries allah it raises our sins with so providing that these worries are what you have to wake up a little bit providing this these worries are what let me go back with the tape a little bit a minute or two before because apparently you're not paying attention I said one of the greatest blessings of Allah that Allah one of Allah is greatest blessings that these worries Allah erases our sins with it providing that these worries are huh I cannot hear you Hilal because there are worries that our Haram okay so one would say what is the evidence hadith the Prophet says irresolute Salam a believer is not afflicted by any types of illness of worry of sorrow of any type of calamity even the Prophet says even the things that occupy your mind Allah would erase your sins and this is Alice kindness and we don't have a lot of prayers of fasting of charity but we all have worries if your worries occupy your mind and make you engaged in a lot of thinking Allah erases your sins accordingly and the worst of people are those whose worries are in Haram this is problematic just to utilize the time any questions quick questions quick questions halal Haram questions the brother is asking the 70,000 is this working out hello the brother is asking about the 70 thousand people who are exempted from torment and questioning if someone did ask people for Rukia he's out of them correct if he repented does he go back yes a large Dajjal is most forgiving so if a person commits he is out of the fold of Islam totally if he repents sorry it's over no allah azzawajal accepts him insha allah so the worst of people are those whose worries are in Haram those who carry the burden of thinking I have taken money from the government I've stolen money from my company I have accepted a bribe will they catch me every single day he has this worry on his mind those who commit Haram like those who fornicate have girlfriend-boyfriend relationship have drugs or do drugs they are always constantly worried though they're having a good time apparently to us but they're not because the moment the desire and lust go away they are worried will I be exposed to the Muslims will I get diseases and AIDS and herpes and whatever will I be affected by the drugs I have consumed and be addicted to it problematics so each and every one has these worries and people often are the worst among the human race when their worries are in Haram now when we say that people have worries did the prophet Aslam have worries he did isn't he supposed to be the happiest man on earth is it wasn't he it can there be anyone happier than the Prophet erase a lot of Salaam what is the definite what's your definition of happiness a lot of money a lot of power and authority being able to do whatever you want what is the definition of happiness hmm what I everyone has a definition probably so maybe this is my point of view the happiest person is the most content the happiest person on earth is the most content how do you become this again Marcellus coming back alas how has that come I forgive you so the happiest person is the one who's content even if you don't have money in your pocket if you're happy if you're content of whatever Allah has given you you're the happiest and if you are the richest person on earth and you're not content you're the most miserable person on earth and you can see that you can see sometimes a person with low wage yet he is happy is eating well as happy is always smiling and saying it hamdu lillah and you see people who have millions and billions with private jet planes with all that is there to ask for yet they're always grumpy not because they're grant parents but they are grumpy because he's what's wrong he says hey I have five jet planes and my friend bought a new 787 it's killing me if you have triple sever and you have jet stream you have this in the air but he has the latest model so he's never content he's not never satisfied so again did the Prophet I assume have worries yes allah azza wajal mentioned that in the quran allah says in the quran and do not be grieved o muhammad by those who hastened into disbelief indeed they will never harm at all so the Prophet as I'm had worried but his worries were about what about the disbelievers he was worried for them why do they disbelieve this is not the type of worries we have we worry about worldly things we worry why they do not accept me and what I teach them not because I fear for you that you will disobey Allah and fall into sin no I feel why don't you accept me so my message has in sincerity because I'm caring about my message not about people coming from darkness into the light the Prophet was totally the opposite he wouldn't care about himself he would care for you and this is why whenever you read in the authentic sooner you'll be amazed the Prophet Alice Osama was asked by mother Aisha Alya hey my throat is yes it's working so she asked him Oh prophet of Allah what was the most difficult time ever to have passed upon you was it the day of hurt you know the day of ohad when did it take place which year hmm three the third year of hijra okay she said was it that day when seventy of your companions were martyred and you were hit and you bled from your head and one of the rings of your shield went into your cheek and one of your teeth were were broken was it that the most difficult said no when was it then he said on the day of Pi if you know what life is Phi F is a mountainous City it is approximately by car from Mecca about 35 to 40 minutes and you go up it's very dangerous very women usually used to I need to hide themselves when when they drive and my my family because they look around and they see a very far cliff so he said I went there I displayed myself meaning that I told them come to Islam take me in defend me do this and they not only rejected my call they asked their children and slaves to stone me so they throw me with stones until my heels were bleeding the Prophet said I was so in depression that I went down a journey on foot which takes not less than six hours and I woke up in a place called Carmen Malaysian or corn ethanol if sorry imagine that you walk for six hours unaware of yourself imagine this unique type of worry I used to have this I used to work in the morning full day at school go home of course after I get my children from the school go home have a bite and then sleep for 15 minutes and before a sir I Drive all the way to Makkah to the University of Omaha and stay there for about five to six hours studying and about 9:30 to 10:00 o'clock p.m. I Drive from Makkah to Jeddah imagine from fajar I'm awake Allah has so many times I remember only coming out of the parking area of the University waking up in jinda wallah he seriously I so many times I get shocked and I just park on the highway so what have I done I do not recall passing through the security check passing cars moving for a whole hour driving an hour not recalling a single thing and when I read this hadith of the Prophet Elisha saw a man die sets of Han Allah my ways was about school about work about getting home safe the prophets were easily saw saw about what the whole Ummah and Allah sends Jibril the Prophet is depressed he's worried he's unable to see things clearly because of their rejection not because of his own safety so gibreel comes o prophet of allah this is an angel of the mountains this is the first time he comes to earth so the angels of the mountain says o prophet of allah allah has ordered me to do whatever you instruct me to do Allah tells you if you wish I will collapse the mountains over their head those who have done what they had done to you if you wish just say the word what did the Prophet say is awesome annihilate them all and the people of Makkah and the people of Judah and the hell with them all what would you do this is what any normal person would do they have accused me of lying they did not give me the hosting of generous Arabs they appointed their slaves and children to stone me what do you expect me to do the Prophet said that is also known I hope and wish from Allah that from their offsprings will be a generation that would say la ilaha illallah look at the love that the Prophet had RA salatu salam which means that he had worries and all the companions all the righteous people have worries but their worries are channeled into good things rumor hot pop ever of him of course may Allah be pleased with him in the battle of nahawand there was an incident he sent an army to fight and while of course they did not have what's up no emails no satellite TV stations relaying to us what's happening minute by minute so he was giving hotma in friday but his mind was where his mind was with the army what's happening to get news of what's taking place it takes a month on horseback just to tell you what is happening so decision-making is not possible you have to improvise so while he was giving hot ba on the Gemara all of a sudden while he's giving hot man he said yeah sorry I tell Jabalia Surya tell jebin Surya was the leader of the army jebel means mountain so what he is saying about Jenna about nirupa Jamaat he said all of a sudden shouting yes arya tell Jabalia sorry Ethel devil people was sitting there excuse me looking around did I miss something maybe I was wondering and thinking of something else so after he finished they told him what did you say he said what did I say you told me you said satya tell Jeff earlier Satya tell jebin did you heard that yes it was in the middle of the hot wok he said while I was giving the hot but all of a sudden it seemed to me that the Muslim army is having difficulties and the enemies are overcoming them and the only alternative was to give their backs to the mountain so I called the man but I didn't think that you guys heard it's just and subhanallah months later after they are came back they said we were being defeated and we almost got what we're going to lose the war but all of a sudden we heard your voice shouting us at us saying yes area tell Jabalia sorry eligible so we immediately executed this advice gave our backs to the mountains and we want now this was a miracle and miracles are for profits in Arabic what is the word more Jesus is is for the profits Karami Kurama is something that Allah gives to a follower of a prophet or a messenger to indicate that he is following the right messenger and this happens but on very rare occasions so this is something that had occupied and worried Omar may Allah be pleased with him earth man you know that man man once said a behavior you know sudden overpass say I did Nabil Cosme Allah be pleased with him is one of the ten heaven bound he came to Omar who was the ruler salaam alaikum alaikum Salaam Omar has anything new happened in Islam and we said no nothing everything is normal everything is according to schedule why are you asking he said I met your brother earth man outside he was coming from the opposite direction I gave him Salam he looked to me in the eyes and passed by I did not answer me do you have this do you meet such people that you give Salam and they do not answer you it happens with all of us what is usually your reaction I never speak to him for the ten years he calls I don't respond he texts me I don't respond why because I gave Salam to you and you did not respond so Romar as a manager a good manager a good leader does not make excuses immediately he sends for Othman to attend earth man comes in sad Umar are there three of the top ten seeded not in tennis but in Islam three of the top ten in the Ummah whom the Prophet died that is Salado Salam and he was what pleased with them sad even ABI Waqqas also known as sad evening Malik he's the one whom the prophet alayhi salaatu wa salaam used to say this is my maternal uncle show me your maternal uncles he used to be proud of sad and he was one of the best archers in the battles he used to throw his arrows to him and he says sad throw may Allah make my father and my mother sacrifice for you this is something huge in Arabia when you give your mother and father as sacrifice for someone meaning that I value you more than them so Rama immediately tried to solve the problem earth man why didn't you respond to the Salam of your brother's side as man said he didn't give me Salam so I said yes I did said no you did it so I said yes I did and if you insist I will make dua what is this mean sad was known among the skull the the the Companions of the Prophet Allah Salam Salam to be among those whom his dora was answered so whenever he wanted to intimidate one is it an Agora nowadays when someone says to you I'll make do I like do you think yourself sad so sad said I'll make du'a what man said do you think I'm afraid of you Dora do whatever you want but do not curse because cursing if allah accepts we're in hellfire but in this world make door I have no problem then earth man hid himself and said oh now I remember yes well I you gave me Salam but I was so preoccupied and this is what worried I was so preoccupied with an idea with something that I heard from the Prophet erase love sermon I forgot it a hadith that the Prophet said and I kept on trying to remember I forgot it when I saw you you give Salam I was not conscience what was the hadith the all hadith that you know we mentioned yesterday there were two the noon so subhanAllah Sarat himself he said yeah yeah I remember the hadith you're talking about the hadith where the Prophet said I will tell you something you supplicate but he did not complete and he walked out yes that's the one did I followed the prophet alayhi salatu salam until he wanted to exit the Masjid I did this so the prophet prophet looked behind him is it sad what is it he said o prophet of Allah you promised us to tell us about the dora and you did not said yes there were to be known no one supplicates endure with it except allah would answer him la ilaha illa anta subhanak in e canto men Avada me moral of the story even the great companions of the Prophet alacazam have things that worries them and as a result as a true Muslim always make an excuse for your brother yeah he I hate you Hassan why he's so arrogant he thinks that he is you know something so many times I meet him I give Salam he doesn't respond yeah I'm deaf seriously am part of my eighties is lost in Gulf War in 1990 they said that we want to recruit nationals to defend Saudi Arabia so I applied and it was a three-day hoax and at the end they gave us a machine gun and started shooting in a nice isolated place I started shooting with the others my hearing was with the grace of Allah like Superman only the hearing I could hear things outside the gate were like Danny in the room I could hear children cry in two three rooms away and no one believes me but I can hear it it was so sensitive that after the shooting I lost 90 percent in one ear that's why when people talk to me usually I don't do this I do this I I cannot heal from this side so people maybe meeting me outside and they when they come share awesome sure awesome when I come people are intimidated so they come he comes I do not understand what they say I do not hear it so I walk by and they say he's arrogant he doesn't respond to Salaam well I hey I'm not yeah I'm in the arrogant but not did not responded to Salaam no this is a big offense therefore you should give people what the benefit of the doubt and this is why rumor says either Salam temer without Baraka for a year were in the dr. Faraj beer hey good what does that mean our says when you give Salam make it audible everyone hears it when you end you say and you look at who's responding no say it loudly proudly us them or are they come everybody answers no one has excused because it definitely reached them and if you feed the food don't give the people a Suchi give them mundi give them something that would make them full and when you beat for reprimanding you want to punish someone you don't beat them don't do this next time no beat them so that they feel the pain so that they will not do it one more time so again from the sunnah from the serie of the companions do you know ham vada to see who's and Lola whose hand Allah raise your hand if you know him okay of course it's a compare no they allow right which one what's what signifies him most okay I'll cut it short there are two hanbalis known in the sunnah one is known as Shambhala he'll SD and one is known as Shambhala even at the honor our be armor or known as Shambhala Allah seal so LSD is the one his hadith in Swahili Muslim who met Abu Bakr and he said o Abu Bakr I have become a hypocrite munafa enough of the hawala and you know the hadith the other one is humble Alevis ill and knows known as humbly at the amur he is the one who was newly Wed who just got married the night of butter and when he heard that there is fighting he went to fight with the Muslims and what happened he was martyred and the prophet alayhi salat rose up in the whether in and some other battle and the Prophet said I saw hamdallah between the heavens and the earth being washed by the Angels so why was he being washed unlike the others so they went and checked with his wife she said that he heard the call for jihad he left home he was a newlywed he did not have a soul so the Angels in order to accept him they are giving him hustle of janaba between the heavens and the earth look at these people a newlywed goes for jihad if you bought a new mobile phone before transferring your contact list to it you will not even go if there is a heart an earthquake or someone gets a heart attack next to you these people had worries that filled their lives for the sake of allah azza wajal now let us see what kind and what type of worries muslims have what would usually worries us things of this dunya what does the Prophet say about this alayhi salatu wassalam the Prophet says whoever makes all of his worries into one channel into one type of worry which is worrying about the day of judgement worrying about his conclusion what will happen to him after death this will suffice him Allah will take care of all of your worries when you sit with people with worries and listen to them you find a lot of whining a lot of complaining a lot of dissatisfaction and usually it remains and these people are never satisfied but when you see people with full trust and tackle on allah azza wajal even if they have worries that are really scary daddy I've met people with cancer in very late stages and they are dying and when you talk to them you find the smile from here to there and always saying alhamdulillah I am very good masha'Allah everything is fine never complaining of the hair loss never complaining of the pains never complaining of the fatigue they're always happy these people's worries a large Dajjal takes care of it while some people complain about ridiculous things and they keep on complaining and complaining and complaining without an end and you know a lot who are like this you meet someone and I always we used this example you ask him some are a common concern kfl had what does give it help me how are you a very easy word to learn careful hat he says I am diabetic I have high blood pressure I have heart problems my wife is always nagging my daughter ran away with her Christian boyfriend my son is a drug addict and he always picks up fight my neighbour parks his car in front of my door and the other neighbor puts the trash on my porch and my boss does not like me he deprived me from the annual merit and I had not had a raise in six years and I have loans and loan sharks are after me but alhamdulillah a [Applause] lot of the Muslims are like this they complain and they put all their worries to you and then they sell hamdulillah you're not praising allah azza wajal what kind of a Muslim are you a real Muslim is content his worries are always carried by Allah he sufficed by allah azza wajal okay I think we've spent so much time on this hadith I'm trying to get the voice that the sound system fixed so this is for your worries what about your sorrow sorrow is related usually to the things you've done in the past things that come and haunt you you dropped a vase in your relatives house or your neighbor's house you broke it you didn't tell anybody one about it and it keeps on haunting you when will they show me the footage footage of the hidden camera which I did not know of you're always afraid you borrow someone's car and you scratch it and you don't tell you cheat in exams and you don't know a lot of brothers come and say sure I've cheated in my final exams and I got my graduation certificate and now I'm the CEO of a company with a six-figure salary so I'm getting these worries I'm getting these feelings of sorrow is my income Herald or Haram a lot of people have this live conscience that came to them a little bit late maybe 20 years late but nevertheless it is there so this is the type of sorrow that spoils your foot if you have sincere sorrow and you want to eat can you enjoy food when you think that it is Haram you cannot enjoy life at all so you seek refuge in allah azzawajal and then we have the word of incapacity and laziness what is incapacity in arabic elijah's another translation would be inability this ability and what is the difference between incapacity disability inability and laziness one is without any control of you and one is intentional one is then it's your choice so this one the incapacity disability is it chosen you seek Allah Azza WA JAL from whatever handles you and stops you from progressing disability is not something in my hand if someone cannot walk how is he supposed to make Umrah is it within his grasp and reach no this is something from allah azza wajal i seek refuge unit in that in allah from that but laziness it's something that is within your reach you're the one who's choosing to be lazy why don't you go for home Rob I have a friend I met him couple of weeks ago I was in Dubai we had I had the number of lectures there so he was driving me to the hotel so I saying masha'Allah Tabar he said masha'Allah I'm going for Umbra next week mashallah this is number how many said first Remora Dubai Saudis the hours what are you talking about I said how long you've been in Dubai it should only 23 years and you haven't been to her home nah what about Hajj said no no no Hajj maybe in 10 years time I will not comment now a little comment after the lecture is over so this type of laziness is what cripples us why don't you pray a night prayer I'm lazy why don't you work I'm lazy why don't you go and help others I'm lazy but if someone is disabled someone is unable this is something is not within his reach and there is nothing that he can do now look at cowardice and how do you spell this a verse what is a verse I had to look it up in the dictionary because this is new to me huh sting genus to be miserly to not spend and these are also related it is the inability to progress physically this is cowardice financially this is being stingy and miser e so this is the end of the day we have to use this but this is working now right so the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam used to seek refuge in allah from being a coward why when you are a coward you fail to do many religious obligations you won't go and find someone smoking here maybe it's difficult I don't know you have this amber of Maru from Hammacher here or you have personal freedom so unfortunately wherever you distance yourself from Islam you begin to lose a lot of the features of Islam one of the features that we were so happy to have an enjoy in Arabia is enforcing virtue when you hear the word unfortunate virtue is not your a k47 and you have to pray no it's not like this forcing it by beautiful and good preaching not by forcing it physically because you and Islam cannot force virtue physically and Salaam I hope it stays like this you do not force virtue physically except what except if you are the ruler the man of authority or the head of the family if I see the brother drinking wine in the middle of the day in Arabia do I have the power to snatch it from him no beat him up no he's doing how a major sin it is not for you as a Muslim who is it for call the authorities call the police they will come and drink with him regardless this is what Allah ordered you to do it is not for you to change so you call the authority you call the Muslim ruler the Muslim judge he has the authority to change it with his hand I as a Muslim I have the authority to change it with preaching but if he had a gun in his hand and he's playing with the revolver and his eyes are red even saying it to him is dangerous then I change it with my heart by just despising it and hating it if I were the parent and my child is drinking yes I can use force because I have authority over him if my wife is doing something Haram I have the authority to force her to do the halal thing because Allah gave me that authority when he said o you who believe protect and prevent your families from falling into hell fire and this is why when we see that the Prophet sought allah refuge from cowardice because it prevents you from doing a lot of obligations the country is under attack from muslim enemy for non-muslim enemy so a kafir force is attacking the muslims what should we do sit back relax welcome welcome multicultural monthly religion come come take the country take everything no you have to defend your country you have to defend this land if you are coward you will never do that and you go to the financial sting genus when you are someone who does not pay profit sought refuge in Allah from that why do you think that the Muslims pays there is a cat annually do you think that Muslims pay their zakat annually they don't if all the Muslims in the world paid there's a cat annually we would not have poor people we will not have poor people at least among the Muslims there will be suffice because we have so much wealth but the more you go up and you reach the less your zakat becomes you make so many tricks to evade the cat so the my zakat is next week and I have to pay like a hundred million dollars the cat what do I do I liquidate all of my assets and I buy an island in the Pacific so now next week there is no zakat I tried to make tricks to hide and to evade this otherwise if every single Muslim gave the cat on his wealth on his possessions not on property properties are not zakat able unless they are made for sale if women gave the cat on their gold and silver we would have no poor Muslims are among us at least not as far as we see them today so this is part of what the Prophet used to sit seek refuge in allah azza wajal now in the last to the prophet alayhi salatu salam is seeking refuge in allah allah from being overburdened by debt how is someone get burdened by debt when he cannot pay it back so this is what the score used to describe that with they say it is humility during the day and it is worry during the night when you have a debt on you and you're unable to pay it on the day on daytime when you are in the streets or in the market or in the at work or in a mall how do you feel when you see those who gave you the loan you're always looking down humility you know that they want their money and you're unable to pay them so whatever he sees you in the market you see he says Salaam alaikum you're ashamed how can I respond to him and this is why a good brother if he lends his brother money and he knows he's broke he's unable to give the money back don't give himself don't give him set up because this breaks his heart when he sees you and you give him Salaam with kind heart he feels humiliated by this so try to avoid him or try to talk to him straight and tell him he you have another year take it easy don't have worries Muslims are like this huh Allah is on the phone 24/7 where's my money where's my money but I think you gave me your the loan only 10 minutes ago yes but you promised to pay it back this is not logical people have to be more tolerant in terms of financing their brothers the Muslims and being kind if I tell you the virtue of lending people money you would probably start rethinking your investments the Prophet says Aristotle set up all authentic hadith whenever you lend your brother an amount of money and he returns it half of it is charity for you Sabah so you come and borrow a hundred ring it's from me I lend you and you return it after one month the Prophet says the hundred ring gets in my pocket but registered with Allah 50 in English charity so this means instead of putting your money in the bank lend those who you trust will give it back and it's all charity I was once in a lecture or Friday speech I don't know and I said this hadith the following day a brother comes to me he's from Pakistan working in Saudi he said sure here's an envelope what is this a gift exact alakazoo no no Snuffy okay so what is this is this is thirty thousand reals 3-0 thousand so what is this he said this is only for loans I heard your lecture yesterday I love the investment type and I have this access money take this money I don't want it it's only for lending Muslim who are in need you lend them and you make sure you get it back and you lent them for someone else and this was about seven six seven years ago and the money is still being lent to people and coming back and the guy is smart he is one hell of an investor masha'Allah thought of Allah not only that the Prophet says Ali so Salaam when you give your money to someone and appoint a date for return and he does not return it and you set another date Allah will give you equivalent to your Lord charity not half huh equivalent what does that mean tomorrow you return the money he doesn't return another money he said give me another week I give him another week when he returns it after one week the hundred Ringgits I get in my pocket exactly the same is charity good investment excellent not only that the Prophet says Ali Salado Salaam if he fails in the second appointment which is a week and the week end and you say where's my money he says I don't have it but I will give it to you every day he fails to submit it it's a whole charity so after one week he doesn't return it for a whole month this is 30 times the 100 ring it's charity for you he doesn't return it except one year this is one year times a hundred ringgit charity for you what kind of investment is this therefore when you look at okay if you look at being over burdened by debt and you we have a lot of our brothers and relatives who borrowed from us don't overburden them if you know that they're sincere and they're trying their level best to pay it off always think of the investment and give them time until they pay you because overburdening people buy that will cause you to be overcome by other men and the most difficult thing for men is to feel being treated unjustly I have seen men cry imagine men do men cry rarely men never cry women cry in Arabia when a boy cries it be a man men don't cry and this is not true men must cry if not from fearing allah azzawajal out of their own emotions we have emotions well I I had so many people crying in front of me it is depressing once I had a man who was 54 years old he came to me after Asia after a parade Oh si ma'am so he came he said I have a problem sit what's your problem and he started telling me his problem about his mother's bad behavior and how his father was a good man in the village and he passed away so his mother was an evil woman all the time causing problems tarnishing the family's name by causing problems between families slandering this cursing this making problem to this so he was complaining to his mother over and over and over again and once he lost control and he slapped his mother on the face and he's telling me this and when he told me that he slapped his mother on the face I said I could not believe what I was hearing and the man started crying like a baby and I was scared that people who think that there is something between us in the message I'm not the father it was embarrassing people are looking this grown-up man is talking to the shake and his crying what did they share do her hair did we do anything so and and there are so many stories when people come to you and they complain of the aggression the unfairness that someone did to them men nothing kills a man once I got a brother coming complaining of his wife his wife so he's saying that my wife said this my wife said that my wife did yeah Sheriff my wife did and he started crying uncontrollably I was thinking to myself divorce this is what we usually think first divorce but it is not true when you treat it unfairly by your boss by your colleague when you are accused unfairly and you feel that it is not fair this is when you are being overcome by other men and this is why the profit is awesome used to seek refuge in Allah from what do we learn this we learned that we should be careful we should feel a large that we shall not treat others in such a fashion so that we do not fall under this category and a large division knows best okay the following any number number page five six this one or that kind of faith mashallah would save the city this thing is broken sue me - I beg you and he forgiveness it it broke into pieces it's not Chinese maybe Saudi what page was it again 562 okay whose Amram than us one of the smartest Arabs they used to call him there here - la la what did he accept Islam just before opening Makkah which took place on the which he tent here a little bit less eight on the eighth year of hijra he and Holly didn't worried may Allah be pleased with them came together and accepted Islam now I'm Robin alas did he Gnaeus things before he became a Muslim he was the envy of the people of korish to the Abyssinian king and Najah she trying to get Jeremiah by Parliament all the others back so he did a lot of bad things but when he became a Muslim he became a good and righteous Muslim to the extent that the prophet alayhi salaatu son described him as a believer even ass what min and the sons of alas are believers so he was wise and he spoke with them and part of what he had said that again read the hadith now if can you explain this for me please when you have a lot of friends you have a lot of creditors but what does that mean scholars if you go into the classical books and you search for this topic you will find that the majority of scholars warn you from taking a lot of friends imagine this we think that having a lot of friends is what a good thing so we usually boast about it I get my phone how many contacts do you have I have about 1500 and on my phonebook I know maybe 5% of them and the rest are all under the title the nagging woman or seriously I get a lot of calls but so frequently I get from the same color so I put nagging woman or psycho or with wise man OCD man I don't know them but when I get the call as AHA I know I have your case history I remember I remember so people think that having a lot of friends is something good the selleth when you go back to their classical books I was shocked when I was researching this they all say that this is bad news and when I read the hadith I could not understand it why would I mother I said some like this if I have you all as my friends that's good no he says when you have a lot of friends close friends then you have a lot of creditors why close friends mean that you have responsibilities towards them if you're close real close to me and you said chef I need 100 ring it okay I just got this ego that's why it handle I don't have any good friends of you so what do you say give me I said I don't know you listen to what the scholars say sophiana theory says the amount of friends mean that your religion is shallow the more friends you have the little religion commitment you have and again Allah Bobby says because the more friends you have you have to compromise your religion so if I have a hundred friends among them will be will there be sinners will I be fulfilling my job towards enforcing virtue and preventing evil no the more friends you have you will find that you compromise your religion less by less and I can see that the people are frozen masha'Allah people are any but right can we get air conditioning a little bit are you okay with air conditioning then I am getting old masha'Allah ironic Allah all of your okay so the gents are having problem here but there here is mashallah on my bald head coming straight so I should have brought my Saudi tablecloth this is what they usually call it when I go to UK this nice tablecloth you can call it whatever you want this is my traditional attire and I'm proud of it and alleline probably we don't call it like this because when we eat we eat on the floor we don't have tables so again even and Josie do you know who he is huh has anybody heard of web Nell Josie I advise you to read his publications what he wrote especially his book say don't happen now there is - Josie there is an opium and Joe Zia this is a different high caliber Imam the student of a maintain iam and there is someone else known as ignore Josie evening Josie wrote a number of books he was a humbly among these books is Salem Harbor one volume that has deep and profound thoughts and it's like memoir but it's like modern-day tweets but a little bit longer in character wise and real profound and also he has a book on tafseer called Zaid and Messina and it's very it's printed in Arabic and it's very good masha'Allah but he has few glitches here and there in rĂ¡pida one can be careful in reading it what does he say he said that when I found out when I was thinking about myself I found out that I like to hang out with my friends and that I have a lot of friends so I sat back and reflected about these friends and with experience I came to know that these friends the majority of them are not real friends they are people who Envy me whenever I get something those acquaintances that I have those colleagues that I thought they were my friends whenever I have something good from Allah do they clap and say masha'Allah they're envious why did you do this why did you get this you don't deserve this and the other part of them we're enemies they never forgive a shortcoming that I have or a slip of the foot that I took they don't care if I'm in need financially or not they never compensate me they never helped me financially though they claim to be my friends so whenever I reflected on this I decided not to have any close friend only to have acquaintances so they are all you have to have good relationship with others but don't go all the way and consider them to be good friends and best of friends and then be shocked and at the same time don't cut all your relationships with others and then you find yourself living alone on an island have acquaintances no people smile in their faces have good relationships with but don't take them as close friends and he said that I believe why there can't be close friends without having a lot of creditors he said I believe that it is from allah azza wajal that allah wants to purify your heart and keep your heart solely for him when your heart is filled with the love of close friends you usually don't have place for allah azza wajal and this is why if you contemplate a little bit maybe I'm not sure I cannot say for sure maybe this is why the prophet alayhi salatu was-salam father died when he was pregnant when his mother was pregnant with him and then his mother died when he was a less than six years of age and who took care of him his grandfather and then his grandfather died when he was less than 8 years of age so all of these deaths why so that his heart can be only attached with Allah as a dependent on him imagine Ibrahim peace be upon him how many or how old was he when he got his first child Ismail they say he was 80 years of age so when you're 80 years of age and you don't have a boy next to you to help you how do you feel how do you feel you feel overwhelmed you feel weak when you have only girls like I do all my children are girls and Allah so I feel weak when I buy groceries and I live in the second floor and I have to pick them all up on my own if I had children boys I'll sit like a king and go and get the groceries from the car but I have to do this on my own so imagine however I him felt peace be upon him when he was blessed with a child and the child is 14 years of age and he's walking next to him and Allah comes to him and say slaughter your son slaughter your only son how would you feel probably change your religion Ibraheem was one of the five top messengers of Allah total Azzam strong willed immediately no problem he wants to slaughter his son now a large the vigil sends his sacrifice why because his heart is purely for Allah soldier even his beloved son has no place in his heart his heart is totally devoted to Allah so when you have close friends that take you away from the straight path when you have a lot of close friends you will have a lot of responsibilities to them financially and otherwise which would most likely take you away from fulfilling their rights and not having enough time place or effort to be devoted to Allah alone subhanAllah you
