it is like a sign of like when you if i was like how to measure your success if i had to say to my childhood self that one day you're going to be sat beside a spice girl and she won't be able to leave oh just took it just took it into bed there we go yeah my seat that's nice yeah oh right yeah but what i'm going to do is i'm actually going to fix it okay by just pressing it in nice because at home sometimes life isn't perfect like tv yeah and you just have to make do with what you have fun and then nigella what we do is we then with the hold the uh handle that's what it's called yeah and then with the blade like you might be best with this little one but feel free with this i'm gonna use a big nitrogen because i'm a feminist and you cut away from me so when they come out what you're looking for when they come out is that the you've put them in early enough so that the caramel is bubbling so that it won't stick and you can see how much this is bubbling mm-hmm bubbling away simon how long have we been eating pastry what is it or on sunday brunch as humans in excess of 250 years tim really yeah and it first started um with the emperor greggs so we add a touch more of our goat cheese underneath the shallots you get two flavors you get the cooked and you get the raw then we have a little bit of our delicious tomato salad comes around like that nice and fresh nice and delicious that ladies and gents have a little cut into that it's nice it's sweet it's powerful have a little taste the goat cheese is delicate and at your next wedding that's exactly what you'll have yeah what's a vegetarian option again a goat cheese it's because they're so tasty that's why they always so you get that kind of crispy bit of pastry and the caramel is the sea salt cuts through that melanie is that nice i can't go near the top oh wait let me give you some gluten intolerance oh doesn't everyone know what it is how was the tomato the tomato was very tomatoes very lovely what would you do with the end bits of pastry so i was wondering well because it's tough tasting then you can't really re-roll it but you you can but you have to make some like a little portuguese custard tart where you don't want the pastry to rise because that's the whole thing with it because it's layers of pastry yes no not really people are sorry for asking but that is absolutely delicious this is better than simon's food yeah bean sprouts in asian cuisine it actually comes from a mung bean and it's sprouted from the mung bean which you could do at home we used to do that with avocado stones my mother used to put them on the sink in water and we're like in 10 days we're going to have an avocado tree we never did again [Laughter] i'm going to objectively sorry so you should you should so treat it like a wine it's a little it's quite it's quite watery have you watered this down it hasn't been watered down it's just it hasn't no it's it's quite it's quite it's quite lean and delicate i don't expect you're used to scratching strong sliders and we'll come on to those in a minute but this just to show something a different energy so it's very nice i don't want to disrespect them that's nice okay i think it's because it's not got bubbles in it it confuses you a bit but i like it naturally it comes out still like one the wine making inside of making processes are basically the same so this is definitely come out in more of a wine style bit like a serving of your body it's like a wine yeah it's really lush and rich where's it from did you say herefordshire it tastes less like cider and more like an apple juice it got like quite yeah like a flat apple taste like a flat appetizer i was bigging it up but you right there it's good but it's no diamond white it's not a scrumpy jacket there's gonna be different what do we think can someone pass me down all right that's right it's nice but it's no twiglet stuffed in a banana why thank you you know what it's not true what they say about you behind your back simon you are a good cook he is amazing he is that is you're going to share it like sharing a lollipop along the line how many we should before you nominate one person to try otherwise it's going to be impossible oh no i don't mean just simply chop a little bit of cilantro nothing you know don't want it to be too fancy because it is what it is it's street corn yeah and the beauty of this dish every year every year in the summertime we do like a restaurant week it's called dine late and uh it's it lands in the summertime there's two there's one that lands in january and one that lands in the summertime and this is one of the dishes that i put on okay it's beautiful it looks a bit right who is gonna who is gonna try ashley i love it yeah i mean i do love uh corn in the cup what's the white stuff again it's it's basically a mixture of mayonnaise [Laughter] [Music] thank you you
