This is 2-327th 1st BCT 101st Airborne. This was in RC east in just north of asadabad if I remember correctly. The two main guys that spoke were LTC Vowell the battalion commander and SGM fields the battalion Sergeant major.
Edit: To provide a little more context we were providing over watch for a convoy of supplies moving through a long stretch of historically dangerous roadway. The only reason the BC and CSM were involving themselves is because they just so happened to be there. we were stretched out over several dozen km of road, with other incidents occurring at many other points along the route.
Oh god not this ridiculous clip again.

You donβt see much combat footage where they spot targets at a white plastic table
βThatβll teach them to shoot at my soldiers.β
you damn right it will
This is how we end up in a 17 year war. O5s and E9s doing platoon leader/sergeant's job destroying a dishka that's probably 40 years old with an airstrike that probably cost more than I'll make in a lifetime.
I wish my country had the resources to pull these off hah!
That was my sister battalion "No Slack". We were in the Pech Valley and Korengal when this deployment went down. Good shit. Bastogne!

The Taliban snipers were long gone when they saw or heard the fighter jets coming.
