AFFORDABLE GLOW UP FOR BACK TO SCHOOL (24 HOUR TRANSFORMATION)

back to school season is here not only am i not mentally prepared for it but i'm so broke y'all [Music] if you have watched any of my recent videos then you have seen that i have been spending a concerning amount of money i have literally broken the bank the bank has been broken and honestly i just don't think i want to spend hundreds of dollars to blow up for back to school and i don't think any of us can so i decided to make this glow up an affordable version that we can all do literally as we speak i'm currently sitting in the walmart parking lot because i'm going to be doing all the shopping for this video at walmart i feel like walmart has some of the most affordable stuff i'ma stop talking now and let's go into walmart [Music] so i am in need of a new razor i usually get men's razors but they run out of the one i usually get so i'm gonna have to get this one [Music] if you guys are looking for self-tanning stuff at the drugstore i would highly recommend this dragon's natural glow daily moisturizer i usually apply this every day and i'm going to be getting a new one because i need to restock on it something i love doing is hair masks and walmart actually has some really good affordable options my personal favorite from walmart is the shea moisture hair mask i do believe these are a little pricier but if you're looking for a more affordable one you can always use a's and we'll use hair masks that are a lot cheaper [Music] i've been wanting to try teeth whitening i'm not really sure which one is the best i have heard a lot about these crest white strips which i think are really expensive for no reason so i'm going to be trying the more affordable ones which are fifteen dollars don't know why they have everything locked up here but i'm looking for some face masks and if you're looking for some affordable ones walmart is the place to go they have so many affordable options here and i'm thinking of only getting one or two because i already have some at home they also have foot masks here and they look kind of interesting so i think i'm just gonna get one [Music] okay so we are back home now and i have the goods the first thing i want to do before anything is actually attempt waxing my armpits depending on the pain level of the waxing i might consider waxing other parts of my body my sister actually recently ordered a bunch of waxing stuff online and she's actually preparing it right now as we speak i don't know if i should trust her i'm honestly really scared but we're gonna do that first let's try waxing for the first time together this already hurts i haven't even taken it off i like how you can clean this easily oh that's so much [Music] should i just rip it off for nothing [Laughter] it smells so weird my first time waxing my armpits this is my evil sibling it's really hot like so don't move they're gonna hurt okay i'm having regrets why did i do this to myself okay i'm gonna do it i'm gonna do it i'm gonna grind one two three so bad i'm kind of scared to do my other armpit this hurts so bad i'm just gonna suck it up let's do armpit number two i don't know if i'm mentally prepared for this ew i don't think i'm doing this right okay i totally did not do that right [Applause] okay i think i got it on i can't do it how do you do this i did it like once and it hurt me so bad so this is now what the pits look like afterwards can i get a round of applause so they do look and feel better but not gonna lie that was a 0 out of 10 experience i will never be doing that again that is my little waxing review but we're not going to be moving on and i'm actually going to be putting a hair mask in because my hair lately has felt super unhealthy we're in my bathroom now if you couldn't already tell pretty simple just gonna be quickly rinsing my hair and putting some of this on [Music] we have the hair mask on i'm in bed now because we were having some technical difficulties in the bathroom literally the water was getting everywhere now my hair is like soaking wet i also got water on my clothes but we're just gonna ignore that anyways i decided to come to my room to do the next step which is face mask and foot mask i have actually never tried a foot mask before oh it smells so good how do you do this whoa oh wow this is so refreshing is this put on right let's try this i have never seen this before in my life they're literally little shoe sock things okay we're just gonna like slip these on this feels so weird feet asmr can you walk around in these i wish i could show you guys how bad my feet look right now let me just tell you that the skin on my feet is so dead but it feels so slimy so it does say to leave them on for 20 to 30 minutes i'm honestly just gonna leave everything on for 20 to 30 minutes and i'll get back to you guys once that time passes by it says that you can walk on them and these sound like when squidward walks it has been around 25 minutes and we're back in the bathroom i just took off the face mask and we're now gonna be taking off the feet mask my feet are so soft 10 out of 10 would recommend now we're going to be moving on and we're going to be taking a bath let's start off with step one which is filling up the bathtub we got the mini bath bomb hey there welcome to my bath not gonna lie i feel like i'm probably gonna be sitting in here for a while before i actually do anything just because bads are so relaxing and if i could just sit in them all day i would also i do just like to sit in the bath for a while to make sure that my legs are nice and moist before i shave them or do anything to them so it's officially been about half an hour that i've been here in this bathtub and it is time to do the exfoliating of the legs i'm going to be using this scrub that is my absolute favorite thing ever then we got the exfoliating glove and a razor also in case any of you are wondering this scrub is actually from nectar bath treats and let me tell you this thing leaves your legs feeling so soft and smooth and they also make your legs so amazing afterwards [Music] so i just finished exfoliating the legs and now we're going to be shaving my legs i have this men's razor here because men's razors are the best they work so much better than just a regular razor then i have my conditioner here because i don't like using like shaving creams or anything i feel like conditioners just work so much better i'm just thinking about how there's probably so many of you that are new here you guys are just sitting there watching me shave my legs like how does it feel for this to be your first impression of me i feel like this is a great way for us to bond you know anyways now that i'm done with everything i actually need a shower and take all this off so let's do that really quickly so i just got out of the shower currently sitting on the floor on my giant squishmallow the lighting outside kind of sucks right now because it's getting darker it's literally seven in the afternoon so one of the last things that i wanted to do today is teeth whitening it says on here that these actually come with 10 treatments and you're supposed to use these every single day for 30 minutes so i'm just gonna assume that this is a process and my teeth aren't going to turn pearly white on the first try it comes with like a bunch of little packs for the second one [Music] it feels like i have braces again this feels so weird i can't even talk properly i sound like i have a lisp okay i'm gonna leave these on for 30 minutes i'm gonna put a timer then was time to take off the strips [Music] yup she looking real good and once all that was done i decided to resume the next day today is officially day two of this back to school glow up my main focus is going to be to start getting ready and actually transforming my appearance a little bit so that i look a little bit more presentable because this this isn't gonna work out okay i look like a mess right now but basically i'm sure that we're all trying to look cute to back to school we're all trying to have some cute outfits we're all trying to feel cute my favorite personal way to elevate my even saying tomorrow and i was like like having mentally processed that school is right around the corners if you guys have watched any of my previous glow up videos then you probably know that i always do some extreme stuff like going out dyeing my hair getting like eyelash extensions doing my nails and spending all this kind of money but that's not what i was trying to do in this video i was actually trying to do the opposite just to show you guys that you don't need to go out and do all those crazy things in order to glow up i mainly wanted to focus on things in this video that would help you feel more confident and just better about yourself because realistically not all of us can go out and just dye our hair every few months doing this was pretty therapeutic and i do feel 10 times more confident in myself i feel so much better both physically and mentally just taking a few days to do some self-care and just taking time for myself because i usually don't do things like this so i'm not really into the look of super heavy makeup i actually like to go really light on my makeup and i don't apply too much of it i'm not a makeup person i honestly don't even have great makeup skills but this is my favorite blush on this planet earth it is so worth all of your money lately i've been getting really into lining my lips i just like applying this all over my lips so once it is on i like to just dab it in so that it looks more natural and then i just have this glass here from elf and i literally just put this over my lips look at how good that looks [Music] oh [Music] so this is the final look i am loving the vibes i literally just finished making a tick tock in this outfit but for some quick outfit details we got my black platform demonias this little mini cargo skirt that i thrifted this mini red shoulder bag is from princess polly i got this white halter cursor top from iamgia and it actually fits me a little too small because they set me the wrong size i'm gonna be returning it and getting the correct size later on but then we just got my jewelry here from anna louisa and before i go i just quickly wanted to remind you guys that you don't need to go out and do anything crazy or spend crazy amounts of money in order to glow up literally what even is glowing up that's literally a made-up term by social media our new definition of the term glow up is to simply feel like the best version of yourself remember to stop comparing your life to people on social media because social media is fake literally i spent 40 max on this glow up and it was all at
