[Music] are you going on Royal Caribbean's adventure of the Seas if you are this video is for you I've got a walking tour and I'll take you around all the places that you'll spend most of your time right after this welcome to this walking tour of the adventure of the Seas we will start at the Royal prominade and work our way from one end to the other then we will go to the after the ship and explore deck 4 and deck three after that we'll head all the way forward to the observation deck then we'll drop down a deck to deck four and finally we will work our way up to deck 13 and go down to deck 11 stopping at deck 12 on the way at the end of this tour we'll end in the Wind Jammer Buffet the adventure of the Seas weighs in at 137,000 tons she is 1,20 Ft long 157 ft wide and drafts 29 ft her cruising speed is 22 knots she can carry a total of 387 guests with double occupancy that's 3,114 guests she has 785 crew members from all around the world she has 15 decks 14 of which are accessible by the guests there are 14 elevators and she has 1,557 State rooms welcome to the royal prominade on Deck five up in front of us is the cafe Promenade here you will find pizza and breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and dessert and it's all complimentary you can also find the coffee drinks like espressos and lattes those however are not complimentary there is typically live music starting in the afternoons here in the RO prominade up ahead of us is the duck and Dog Pub every Royal Caribbean cruise ship has a British Irish style pub these pubs are very nice my only comp point about them is they typically only have a couple beers on top the rest are in bottles and cans however if you don't mind that it is a very popular place to get something to drink and they also have live music in here at night as well there is a television in here that they put sporting events on and if you hear anyone yelling and screaming throughout the day it's probably because there's some sort of a vent on the television to the left left here we have aumi aumi on this ship is actually on the Royal prominade now there is no Habachi in this isumi it is strictly Sushi and ramen and that sort of thing however we ate there on this cruise and the food as always is very good the General Store is off here on the right hand side and you can find pretty much any of your needs that you might have even if it's some sort of minor medical needs they'll have everything you need in there to the right here is the shopping experts desk where you will find information about the official stores for Royal cribbing when you go ashore this is the Champagne Bar it is not that crowded so if you're looking for a place to go to get something to drink that would be it and what a view Guest Services is off to the left and right next to it is the shore Excursion desk Guest Services is typically not that crowded on this ship however the shore excursions desk I had to wait in line a couple times I'm not sure if it was due to some of our excursions being cancelled or what but I think that's the first time I've had to wait in a pretty long line for shore excursions as I said this is the Champagne Bar if you are doing the chef's table this is where you will meet to be escorted to the chef's table dinner if you end up doing that on this cruise ship and as you can see here these are the elevators and one deck up is where you'll find next Cruise next cruise is where you can go to book your next Cruise they typically offer reduced deposits for Cru Cruise sometimes they offer discounts for the cruise they might offer onboard credit for cruises coming up but that's where you would go to do that and up in front of us this is the sapphire main dining [Music] room a very nice looking dining room as they all are on all the road Caribbean [Music] ships now let's drop down the deck to deck four staying in the AF of the ship this is just we just walk down the stairs that you see right there in front of us and down on this deck you will find valeros which is the Latin inspired bar it is a bar in the round so you can sit all the way around it they have live music at night and it is a very popular bar [Music] now let's head down one more deck to deck number three this is where you will find Studio B Studio B is where the ice show is and it's also where you can go ice skating while on a cruise ship I have to say I am not a fan of ice skating in general or watching ice skating but I enjoy both when I go on a row Caribbean ship that has Studio B this is also where you will find the focus photo gallery so if you uh get your picture taken by any of the crew members this is where you can go look at them and or purchase them all right now we are up on the observation deck which is deck five as far forward as you can go on the ship this is also the pad that if a helicopter needs to land on the cruise ship this is where it will land land however all those benches are bolted down so not quite sure how they accomplish that if they unbolt all the benches or or what but this is where the helicopters will land it is also an amazing spot to watch from when you sail out or into [Music] ports we will drop down just a little bit so technically we are at deck 5 and A2 just then and now we are really down in deck five to get to the observation deck you need to go to deck four and walk outside either on the port or starboard side and then start walking forward when you do that you will eventually get to a set of stairs also known as a ladder on the ship you need to walk up those to get to this area right here once there you just keep walking forward and you will make it to the observation deck a lot of people get very frustrated because they see that the observation deck is on Deck five but yet they can never find it so the trick is go outside on Deck four and then walk forward now we're back down in deck four forward this has a lot of seating that you can sit in that's covered and look out over the ocean there's also shuffleboard courts now I will tell you if you don't like smoking or you do like smoking there are different sides of the ship for both and unfortunately I don't remember what those are at this point just walk out a door if you smell smoke and that's something you like stay there if not go to the other side of the ship and as you can see this is where just like in the after the ship there's a bunch of stairs for going up and down between deck 5 4 and three on this deck forward you will also find the skooner bar Schooner bar is a staple on all the Royal Caribbean ships there is live piano music here at night and it is a very popular [Music] bar across from that or I should say right next to that is the chops Grill chops Grill is a specialy dining restaurant they focus on steaks and down here is The Lyric Theater this is the main theater it is two stories and this is where you will find the main shows that are featured on the [Music] Cru now let's head up to deck number 13 we're in the after the ship this is where you'll find the Sports Court which is a basketball court you also find the entrance to the rock climbing wall the rock climbing wall is actually on Deck 14 but you have to enter it on Deck 13 this is not as tall of a rock climbing wall as you'd find on the Oasis ships however it is much more challenging because of the overhangs you will also find the first hole of the adventure Dunes on this de as of recording the adventure Dunes is slightly showing its age it's definitely not as nice as some of the other miniature golf courses however it has a unique feature and that the entire course is not on one deck there is actually a hole that when you uh play it your ball will go down a ramp to deck 12 which is kind of unique and fun it is still a very nice miniature call of course and something to do on a c [Music] day and this is that hole if you hit your ball into that hole it will spin around and go down this tube that you can see here this little rail thing and it spits it out down on Deck 12 [Music] you will also find the entrance to the perfect storm water slides on this deck in the a section and right next to it that desk that is where you go to sign up for the Flow Rider if you want to do some surfing or uh Boogie boarding when you're on your cruise that's the desk that you sign up for that at and here is the Flow Rider just like on the other cruise ships they offer lessons that you can pay for or you can just go try your luck for free during one of the designated times and this is the set of perfect storm water slides if you go on them you remember you you enter them on this deck you go up you go down the water slides and they will spit you out on the deck 12 one deck below [Music] us there's another view of the rock climbing wall and here again is the Sports Court as you can see they have a full basketball court not just one basketball hoop but they have two one at each end they do a lot of different things on this court throughout the day just look at your phone or the printed version of The Cruise Compass for a schedule of what there is to do in the Sports Court there's some bathrooms up [Music] here deck 13 is actually not a continuous deck it's actually broken up into three sections we are now on Deck 13 m ships and basically it's a very small area with a whole bunch of loungers and if you're looking to get a lot of sun and no shade and just roast yourself during the day this is the place to come it is also a very nice spot to look out over the sea or to depart or arrive in a port not as nice as the observation deck but it is a nice place nonetheless now let's move again staying on Deck 13 all the way forward this is similar to the midships deck 13 in that it's basically a place to lay out and get some sun and with all these glass partitions there is really no Breeze at all so if it's a hot sunny day there will be no one up here but as you can see there is just an overabundance of lounge chairs so if it's a nice day and it's not super hot this isn't a bad place to go however the view of the ocean is obstructed by the piles of lounge chairs and also the glass barriers however it is open and you will probably be the only person here if you don't mind looking through glass this is also an amazing place to go when leaving or entering a port and you can look down over the obser obervation deck from up [Music] here let's head down to deck number 12 we're going to start on the port side forward looking down over the solariums pool the starium is an adults only area on the ship kids are allowed to walk through there but they're not allowed to stay and adults only means 16 years and up as you can see there's just like and deck 13 there's tons of lounge chairs this is also where you will find the jogging SL walking Track if you're looking for a lounge chair to just sit and look out over the ocean this is a good place to go it is very similar to deck four except this deck isn't covered so if you're interested in getting a little more sun this would be the place to go there are two main pools on this cruise ship there's one right there and the other one is right across on the other side of the ship from this main pool you have some seating here that's reserved for the sweet guests however that middle section that's the highest point that is open to all Cru guests and it it's a great place to watch the large television during movies I enjoy this deck but I never know which way to walk because the jogging SL walking path is here and everyone goes counterclockwise and if you want to go forward and you're on this side of the ship it's sometimes a challenge and people give you evil looks so just keep that in mind with if you're walking there is a direction to go around this jogging track and if you're walking the wrong way you might not make a few friends when you're doing that these lounge chairs right in front of us are ideal if if it's slightly raining out but yet warm and you want to come up on Deck those are covered even though they don't look like it and you won't get wet and you'll still have an amazing view of the ocean there are some ping pong tables here that are as you can can see quite wet right now you'll also find the end of the mini golf course here now we're over on the starboard side a we're going to start heading forward at this [Music] point this is where you will find Johnny Rockets Johnny Rockets is a specialty dining restaurant you basically pay one price and you can go in and eat all the hamburgers and fries that you want however the drinks and the milkshakes are not free if you have a one of the drink packages like the refreshment package or the deluxe beverage package or anything like that they are covered if you have those but if you don't you do have to pay for the drinks even if you're paying for the food now we're heading down the opposite side of the jogging track on Deck 12 and if you're wondering that's why I did this walking tour in this direction so I could actually not walk against the people that are on the jogging track as you can see there's very little space to get out of everyone's way down below is Splash Away Bay this is the area for the younger Cruise guest where they will absolutely get soaked there are buckets that that just drop water on them and they absolutely enjoy this area I know I've been spending a lot of time on this jogging track but also keep in mind that one of these Lanes is for walking in one of the lanes is for jogging you typically see the Walkers taking up the entire thing but they're pretty good good about moving over for the joggers but just keep that in mind that one of these is for jogging and one is for walking and this is that area that I pointed out on the other side of the ship those lounge chairs right there are accessible to anyone that is on the ship whereas to the port and starboard side of these lounge chairs those are reserved for sweet guests and here you can see both of the main pools and we have the Sky Bar the Sky Bar is if you're laying out on any of these lounge chairs it's a very short walk to get yourself a drink at the Sky Bar up ahead this hole on the deck that is once again the salarium down there with the salarium pool there are some hot tubs down there and there's also a bar as [Music] well let's drop down to deck 11 deck 11 has a unique feature that you can't find on a lot of the Royal Caribbean cruise ships so this is the port side forward on Deck 11 there are two entrances to the outside in the forward section of deck 11 and at the time of videoing this only the port side was open so if you go outside and work your way forward not only will you have an amazing view of the ocean you will also have something that's very unique to this ship and other ships in the Voyager Class of ships and that that is this little section right here this is the peekaboo Bridge so you can actually look down into the bridge and watch the captain and the officers guide the cruise ship to where it's going and that's very unique that you can do that when I was filming this on this Cruise when I originally came to film this I could even hold the camera without worrying about it blowing over because the wind was so strong I had to hold my hat I had to hold my shirt so it wouldn't blow off my body and the camera was just out of the question with it in the gimbal like this I was afraid the whole thing would just blow sideways so I had to come back up on a day that wasn't so [Music] windy let's go back inside and start working our way down to the a section this is the inside of the solarium and the salarium is protected as you can see on the right by Windows however they are a lot of them are open most of the time and obviously right here this is all open to the sky but that's the salarium bar up ahead and as you can see this is also where you will find the Arium pool as I said before this is an adults only section it is a little bit quieter than the main pool [Music] area I enjoy getting a lounger by the windows and just looking out over the ocean as long as you can find a window that's not too dirty it's really nice and there's also places with just plain old chairs if you're not into sitting in a long chair okay heading on out now we're in the main pool section of this deck and just like on all the other Royal Caribbean ships there's tons of lounge chairs around the pools this is one of the main pools and right across there is the other main pool and looking to the side here that's the pool bar which is basically the Sky bar but down on this deck and that's also where you find above the pool bar there is where you find the seating that I was talking about earlier and the the lounge chairs for the sweet guest there are a couple whirlpools or hot tubs down here next to the the main pools and as you can see this is a perfect place to watch the movies up on the Jumbotron at [Music] night all right let's go inside and this is where you will find the other main specialty dining restaurant Giovani and you will also find the entrance to the Wind Jammer so this is the entrance to the the Wind Jammer and if you're facing the main entrance like we are now giovan is off to the left side past these stairs right [Music] here tvan is also a very common just like chops specially dining restaurant it is not on every cruise ship that real Kine has but it is on quite a few of them and this one is specifically giovan On's table all right heading on out to the starboard side of deck 11 and we'll start working our way [Music] forward and up ahead is the ground level of Splash Away Bay you'll get an up close view of how wet your child will get if they go into this area it's definitely not as big as the Splash Away Bays that are on the Oasis class ships but it's large enough for the kids to have a lot of fun [Music] in and there's a couple hot tubs there for the adults well and youth and you can see the pool bar and the Sky Bar off to the left here [Music] and we're finishing off this deck by walking through the solarium once again and as you can see we just passed a bunch of chairs that look out over the ocean but there's also in between the chairs there's a bunch of lounge chairs here as well [Music] now let's go to the Wind Jammer on Deck 11 one of the problems with the Wind Jammer on most of the Royal Caribbean ships is the lack of seating and they definitely fixed that on The Wonder of the Seas however I have to say the layout on the adventure of the Seas for the seating in the Wind Jammer Buffet is very nice and we were able to find someplace to sit even if we came during prying times like noon and uh 6:00 we are still able to find seating also the food in this Wind Jammer is really spread out so there's different places to get different types of food and they're not all piled on top of each other which is nice as well there's also a bar in here and at the very back of the wing Jammer there's tables that look out over the ocean which is an amazing [Music] view thank
