Actually Finding a Real Diamond Mining Arkansas Crater of Diamonds

[Music] i can see one from here [Music] oh man [Music] all right there it is certifications [Music] welcome to the crystal collector today we're digging diamonds at the crater of diamond state park right here in arkansas the only location in america that you can come paid to dig for diamonds and it's legit let's go see i've got some buddies waiting on me in the park let's check them out but first we got to go pay it's 10 bucks for an adult for all day of digging here we go there it is look at that hundreds of people already out there digging for these diamonds i think we're a little bit late we better get to it in 1972 the state purchased this land for almost a million dollars and developed it into a state park you have over 37 acres of diamond bearing soil to enjoy the entrance to the mine and it is super crowded so let's find that camping couple so 15 years ago this dude found a huge four carat diamond there's another one called the shaw diamond or something how big shaw six carrots six carrots wow six carrots found in 1981 another marker sold for 58 000 what [Music] now that's like a million bucks we're almost at that camping couple's site where they've been finding three diamonds at least two confirmed but i just want to show you guys they have these wash stations as you can see behind me and that's where you can go out here and dig this stuff and then take it back wash which we'll go all through during this video so stay tuned look look who it is look who it is it's that camping couple and crystals of arkansas what we found them i don't know what they're up to but hey if that's how you find diamonds it looks pretty fun to me what are you doing there and look who it is you guys dominique what's up everybody gotta find some diamonds yeah yeah you know we're usually all digging crystals but today we're digging diamonds and not herkimer diamonds arkansas diamonds we found them a little muddied up there and some new apparel and uh yeah so that's how you dig diamonds right there you guys so we sifted 18 buckets and this is the center or the the uh small stuff and then she's going through it again to get it ready to seruca so this is the first bucket of stuff against saruka saruka what is saruka is that some kind of dance that's a rude because you do shake it a little bit so this is the ceruka yeah so you put the gravel in here and you put it in the water and you shake it and spin it a little bit and all the heavies will go to the bottom in the center and then you flip it and we'll flip it right over here so we're going down to see frank's spot where he's already pulled out two diamonds maybe three just recently that one hasn't even been confirmed yet so i don't know we'll see stick around and we're going to go to the office where you do a confirmation to see if it's actually a diamond and i think they give you like this certificate or something with your name on it we'll check it out later but first let's go check this out where he's getting all muddy over here digging like crazy let's see what's going on so what kind of shovel you got there frank we're borrowing it from jax cause i broke mine from digging too much i don't think i've ever seen one but apparently if you've done found three diamonds in a few days maybe i need to start drilling holes in all my shovels i don't know i like it probably lost several cool shirt too so oh he is in this waterhole hippo style and the diamonds are what about your feet level there's gravel down there that's kind of falling in but there's actually a gravel layer just right here okay so what he's doing you guys is taking the gravel layer where it gets kind of crunchy and throwing it in these buckets and then they're taking those up and classifying them down so we'll go and we'll check that out here in a few i think he's going to go and dig out another bucket full oh man look at that what's that an agate hold on oh is it yeah they have their agates are weird here but they're gorgeous so you can get agate here as well there's several minerals and i think there's even amethyst that you can find here like a a really light purple yeah that sure is look at that it's got that look that's good because they're heavy so you want to if you find a bunch of agate you know you're in a good spot of heavies nice so there could be a diamond in that scoop right there there could be or it could have fell through the hole through one of those holes oh my gosh this gravel's amazing check that out oh dude there's probably two diamonds in that one scoop oh man dude where'd y'all get those shirts crystals of arkansas i like them oh man i see who's doing all the work here pumping them out two at a time frank can't even keep up with her [Music] so that black bucket right there is calling to me so i was just messing around with frank and i was asking him maybe he let me purchase that bucket right and he was like i don't know but it's calling out for me and i've talked frank here and to let me trade him a crystal so i got to go find the crystal that i'm going to swap him out for that bucket so while he's digging let's go find a crystal to give him and uh then we're going to see later on if the bucket that we've traded for has a diamond or not what matrix what do you think boy should i give him this crystal all right so i've picked out this amethyst crystal boom so what do you think we'll trade that for that bucket so we're giving them this amethyst i'm gonna get the bucket so now let's see if there's anything in my bucket that i just traded for so i'm taking a risk he's taking a risk i may come out with nothing but a bucket full of rocks but hey at least frank dug them out for me [Laughter] man what is this some kind of shackles no dude it's a bucket carrier i always put it on wrong though let's see here [Applause] [Music] that's the craziest thing i've ever seen [Applause] wow all right we're filling it back up so that we can go through the bucket there that we did a trade for you guys just seen the trade so we'll see huh kendall busy at it finding them diamonds there's a diamond in that one i hope so all right so this is the trade bucket if there's a diamond in here he gets it oh my god look at that oh i think i've seen a diamond you guys that's a diamond oh it's tin carrot oh nothing it's a good sign whatever it is we're gonna get them oh i like that rock right there that's cool look at that what is that it's a diamond bro look at that you can even take these home and place in your garden of choice i think there's going to be a diamond so big they'll use a shovel marker and i'll get to name it and everything what do you think and we'll call it that camping couple all right so there's a bunch of lampright which is a really good sign which is basically what the stuff formed in there's a wall of it and that's what's catching all the gravel look at this yeah sweet no big diamonds all right so we're gonna clean this out and get it down to like something like this hey look dude is that a diamond hold on look at this frank did i get it look at that right there is that a diamond i don't no it's quartz oh man that's a diamond are you sure no you can go get some dude sure does look like one but you say it's not sure are you sure 90 oh oh no 90 dude that could have been my diamond so kendall is gonna sift out our first batch here so she's wearing these nice arm protectors those are pretty cool huh keeps me warm yeah i bet that water's chilly yeah what do you think so far can is it too early too soon no it's got some colored rocks in there that's good yeah they say if it's in this top screen that it's gonna stand out really good so you can do a quick search oh nice so we went through it and if they stand out pretty quick i don't think we've missed it so i didn't get the huge diamond yet but we still got more to go through and there's frank again all right so we're putting mine here in this red bucket and then we've got to do what we got one more thing after that to do is that what you're saying so you let the water drain and get you a flat spot to do it on this is right where i found the first diamond my first flip of the day really yeah right here it's the magic spot and there's your center oh look at that so there should be a diamond there if there's gonna be one huh yeah and so you can see the little black dots in there the spinels yep that's a really good sign for diamonds there's a little yellow quartz but you let it dry because that makes it a lot easier nothing else really shines but the diamonds it seems really tough to me to tell the difference between these and diamonds so how do you really know like that looks like that could be a diamond look no it'll be way shinier it'll look like uh silvery almost there's one tiny one he says maybe but i don't know that looks like a diamond i'm not sure i'm cut out for this you guys i like to dig those big quartz crystals easy to see this this is not all of it so we'll do a little bit more after this but this is a big hunk of your stuff so you tap it and get it all to level out and get all the heavies to the bottom and you just kind of bounce it and let it spin and you shake back and forth get in the line all your heavies go to the middle and so you let the water drain so it doesn't mess up whenever you flip it all right here we go you want to make a level spot for it what do you think boy what do you think so we make a level spot so that it stays nice and firm like a big pancake how's that all right and the flip oh yeah you can find them we found a little bit of amethyst so i come here to find a diamond and i find a quartz crystal only me huh but of course crystal isn't a diamond unless you're from herkimer i'm just kidding nice come on diamonds come on oh no i said oh no no no he's taking my diamonds y'all look he's seen one he's seen two diamonds and he put them back in his stuff you guys seen it all right we're doing a circle here see all the jaspers and stuff that's good all right this could be the one you guys how does it feel i feel lucky or i hope you feel lucky i don't already want i already won all right let's go up here where there's already two flat pancakes and oh i gotta make a uh gotta make the spot here once these dry we'll really be able to tell all right here we go here we go ready for it ready for the [Music] flip get all right guys so there's a diamond right here in the center you can see it maybe where's it at oh okay right there you see it nope right there oh okay see that guys that is a diamond right there you see that diamond all right guys so it's in the center of this pile but we didn't just find it this is the diamond he had just found earlier but we wanted to do a recreation to give you an idea what it looks like so as you can see unless you're about this far from the screen tough to see man but this diamond hasn't been confirmed yet we're gonna go confirm it at the official so you guys get to see that process i don't know if it's really a diamond are you sure how certain are you that this is a diamond on a skeleton one to ten i was ninety percent sure but there's some old timers that were 100 sure so i'm 100 so pretty much some certainty here but i don't know we'll go see because it looks like everything else in this center to me it's like there's three or four there to me i wish everything you saw i'm never gonna get this cause look that looks like a diamond man no wonder i like crystals they're easy so there's something in here that kind of looks like a diamond we'll pull it out and get a better look at it but it really shines and kind of all right right here oh i do see that it kind of why do they look brown they you can find brown yellow and clear here but that one's really shiny okay hmm all right here you mean know i'm an expert no no no i'm an expert i'm an expert what's going on look at all this expert hands i think it looked good from oh are you sure dude no that's a freaking time dude i see the man i can see the cuts it's got to be is it not really i don't think so don't drive don't it's totally a piece of quartz yeah it has it has rounded edges yeah it's got a nice shape either way yeah i don't think it is it's quartz no i really do it's just courts whenever it was shining like that there it is diamond a three leaf clover if there's not a diamond in that basket if it was a four leaf we might be seeing something but then st patrick isn't green what's up boy you think we got a diamond this time i'm feeling on this one he says he's feeling it it looked good here it is oh at least 10 diamonds so i got a nail i've got a garnet right here and a bunch of spinels so there might be a diamond and this one right here looks really suspicious all right so we're gonna take this one out along with the other one to the office and see if we actually have some diamonds you guys on the way out they've got this excellent station you can wash all of your equipment your feet really cool but we're gonna go see if we've got a diamond so let's check it out we're ready we're ready here we go to see if we've got a diamond or not oh yeah yeah really is a diamond maybe frank even though he's got all this dirt makeup on he might know what he's doing here a little bit number three in a week in seven days all right we made it past the gate you gotta find a diamond to get past that gate so we're in ip diamond vip even matrix made it in yeah yeah you're going to sign my name right yeah the crystal collector right there and we just found out that's the only diamond found today [Music] here we go here we go [Music] you guys so last year there was 353 diamonds found this year 59 so far frank with three of those diamonds oh man that's pretty good all right there it is certifications so they give you a microscopic image look at that you can see the beautiful aspects of that diamond there it is and you get the official card and everything what eleven points what color brown or brown oh wow there it is guys so check out one of the nicest diamonds to ever come out of this place it's huge it's been cut down from a three carat to a little over one carrot check it out over a carrot after it was cut down
