Accidentally Flying Paramotor in a Military Controlled Airspace!!

America well you age 60 flat car don't want to get here any of that downwash the military has a little operation going on out here today actually they've been here for about how's that here week ago actually over the weekend there sup guys who will do is they wait for you to come on down just saw my buddy pulling up you had a pull start issue and so he's a little late I decided to just go fly around while waiting on them there's all red probably come and land and talk to him for a sec I feel like I'm playing Grand Theft Auto right now because the military's out here and they're coming to talk to us we'll see what they have to say every time I'll come and land and see what's up with them [Music] how's it going what's thanks yeah absolutely and I know that I get I just didn't I didn't check the note I'm poor not the normal seat a frequency that's a new frequency you guys can do that then we can come out but I'd still ask that you kind of let me know what general area are operating in yeah remain well clear the pattern but until you do that yeah you can't let us what are your hours like here yeah guys can get a radio please come back you know okay yeah I have a radio I just uh I didn't bring it because this is normally you know class G up to 700 or whatever yeah yeah that makes sense are you guys with the National Guard or Bragg okay cool yeah no problem yeah I wasn't sure I didn't know that was going on I wasn't trying to mock you or anything yeah yeah I've taken mine to 13100 feet yeah that was it took me a long time to get up there for sure yeah yeah I did that back towards Asheville North Carolina yeah not in the airspace a little bit yeah yeah would you have prop I mean you probably won't but would you have a problem with us taking off and just going over there for just today or and just leaving the airspace of five nautical mile ring and then just coming back when we're done and then next time just don't come or bring comms so that way because we don't really have an area right or today to go to and I understand if you don't want to but we can watch out for traffic we have comms with each other and I know traffic rules pretty good mm-hmm okay I understand that's fun okay yeah absolutely yeah Thanks yeah absolutely yeah sorry about that I should have checked beforehand like a normal pilot would I know I want to just want to push up that hi-c so besides the fact that I'm out here in the middle nowhere stopped on the side of the road because I saved a turtle man you know you don't belong out there silly turtle saved your life he was trying to cross the road what happened back there at the airport I don't know if I got on audio or not but basically I came back and landed and some army guys were out there and they came to tell me and ret that we were flying in Class D airspace normally that airport is Class G airspace but it's notum doubt and if you look at the NOTAM it actually doesn't say it's Class D airspace so that might be a misprint or something all it says is there's a temporary tower from like May 9th to May 17th or something and here's the control frequency but it doesn't say it's Class D airspace so technically just looking at the no domes it should just be Class D airspace but because they said it was Class D we were respectful and they were very nice no we didn't fly after we talked to him but they said we can come out there and check out the control tower and bring communications in in fly which I have communications and it could be interesting to fly and talk to those guys they're out there for practice anyways they're not normally out there so it'd be cool dumb to talk to him but yeah they were nice no problems we just left after that and that's and we've tried to find there's a ultralight park nearby but the lady that we have to talk to is in there so we found a park and I flew out of the park a couple times and then called it quits for the day some mosquitoes out here so hot so yeah I was does the situation kind of interesting I I don't think the van was just driving around the airfield the driving around there but I think they were driving around when they saw me flying to talk to me which is kind of funny cuz I I just continued flying but they were smiling in the van they weren't waving me down and then the afterwards they said good moves and stuff so they weren't upset by any means but it was definitely pretty funny and they were well they were there they were okay with it but always checking Odom's if you're flying at an airport for sure for sure peace out
