what's happening guys I'm out the countryside way on the farmlands I was cruising through Google Maps scouring the countryside and I saw the rooftop of this house out the paddock just sit back off this road dirt road take a look at this I think this is a really old settlers home probably would have been one of the first farmhouses out this way north of Adelaide so I have not seen any do not trespass signs here so I'm gonna walk over and take a look at this place grab my other camera and head over there [Music] I just got out here I did a quick little walk around each side of the building to look for beehives because these places out in the paddocks I have come across beehives before the only thing that really looks to be in there is pigeons they just flew out there so look at that look at the old um horse-drawn plow there this place is really old so let's go in and have a look just do a pan across the fields instead of crutches right there the breeze is sort of whizzing straight through these doors so you might have that gusting noise on the mic sorry about that Wow look at this this is awesome this would have been quite a large home for its day it still is actually from looking at these rooms the floors are really dodgy but look at that old cabinet now that is old blowfly down there hang around now that is an old wooden stove see you you're Billy on there your kettle stoke the fire would have heated the room as well yeah this is really oldest this would go back to 1860 right I'm pretty certain would have to look how far that war-separated off the main part here it's falling outwards what is this it looks like an old dryer an old Mako Mako might look that up open shut it's like a dryer or a washing machine very old bottle I can't see any markings on it gold ions heating irons fire irons paint there's the old fireplace the mantles gone okay this would have been the main the main living room I'm guessing with it light fixture up there trying to get my feet look at the huge windows you have the floor completely gone I don't really want to walk in there I think you get the gist of it I think this is where the pigeons flew out from it's just really really just a pile of rubble in here as I was saying that's where the pigeons fly out from I know they fell sideways then yeah I'll just zoom in a bit from in here because so there's a pigeon still sitting up in there yeah there's a pigeon up there I'm not sure you can see it I'm just not gonna go in there and disturb them I'd say this was the kitchen so I'll just close that over again just leave him be this was the back door brought it up use the last room I think this is the green room see the green that was a ceiling sheeting that was on the floor in where the pigeons were - so that obviously has come down from up there it's like remnants of furniture or baby heads here not too much so it's just a pile of rubble but that is what I expected and that's fine because I love this stuff all right we might cruise back out and have a look around the yard okay we'll try and get a look around this side I can see a few bees flying around haven't seen a hive trash coltie cedar it says up there Tresh coltie there's a little Hut out the back that may be where the washhouse was or the on the outside loo or maybe one of those summer kitchens see this would have been the well or a bore filled with bore water here's the back door this may have even been the holding pens for a couple of horses and maybe a living space okay so it's got a tiny little fireplace some shelving it might have been a simple living quarters for farmhands and a little pen next to it horse pens stables okay guys I'm gonna wrap it up here this is the side that I approach from at the start yeah what an old place really interesting I love these old places because they are the original homesteads of the the land that was around here that wall that is around here and if the walls could talk we would find out everything of early life in Australia pretty much on the farm yeah I'd date this well back to 1870 it's stone crude concrete and red brick so pretty old way out in the middle of nowhere beautiful scenes beautiful house I expected it to be that trashed as I said inside as I crunch on the sticks everywhere sorry farmers end up using these old places as storage and they're well beyond repair and they just let them run down so I'm more than happy to walk out into these paddocks and document them and show them to you guys so I hope you enjoyed this one put some comments down below if you want to and I will catch you guys in the next video I'll make my way back over here to my car and caches in the next video cheers guys bye [Music] [Music] you
