[Music] so guys we're on to an absolute insane explore this was sent to me in my dms on facebook i've seen some pictures and this place looks absolutely incredible i cannot wait to get inside bit of a trek through these woods though so guys to just give you a little look around outside we actually have a bar area here and we have a houses that you can rent we have more rooms this place is absolutely humongous i've just been uh looking at these cats here quite nice i don't know if you can see him over there he seems all right though nice guy there's another cat there as well this looks like offices this open building here so i don't want to go too far up [Music] hi guys welcome back to the channel today we are outside this absolutely amazing abandoned mansion it was built in 1895 for a governor i'm not saying who because it gives the location away and we don't want this getting trashed but then it was built in 1895 for a governor who lived in it until 1915. it was then turned into a school for the next 40 years and then a hotel this place is absolutely enormous it's in pristine condition it's absolutely amazing so with that said guys a little bit of history on the place into wow what looks like the main foyer like i said it was turned into a hotel last so here's like a reception area [Music] wow look at this staircase how grand is that oh my days look at this piano i wonder if this was the original from back when it was a home that is insane getting a bit of dust on here now [Music] so the hotel closed early last year wow yeah so the hotel closed early last year i'm sure why because this place is absolutely amazing oh my days check that out look at this room imagine sitting there a bigger roaring fire looks like there has been fires but less coal's all kicked everywhere look at these chairs imagine sitting in one of those guys that'd be absolutely insane wow this is your home this is bananas guys all lava sofas still here place is absolutely pristine these chairs the curtains still up all the scent all the candle sticks [Music] all this wood imagine how much this wood would cost alone oh wow look this uh table here as well that looks original the glass there still got a bit of hail in it wow imagine guys sitting there feet up this is a chest underneath that's an actual chest i don't know people refurb stuff so much these days you don't know dear wow incredible there we go oh wow [Music] so this would be a dining room as the hotel and probably has the house imagine that this is the school though guys check this guy out wow look at this candle that is absolutely insane and these old drawers like a side piece with more candles on the top there wow look at the detail in this you do not see stuff like that anymore ever old oak table here with the marble centerpiece jeez and when it was a house they'd probably have the chairs like in the other room there a bit of an alarm that went off there i think it's just a fire door though [Music] all right guys so we just went ahead upstairs but look at this window that is insane and we still got the lights on here so we've still got power [Music] but look how grand this staircase is that is absolutely immense the carvings in it we head up uh we've got the rooms from when it was a hotel now wow look how clean have finished all right so we're in the hotel bit now they're all locked so i don't think we'll be able to see inside a hotel room [Music] private oh that's open ah that's just where they keep all the battling in and stuff like that let's push forward this way [Music] wow check this spiral staircase guys wow that is amazing and then look at that at the top humongous chandelier still turned on [Music] wow this is insane could possibly just be more rooms this way probably is but there's onto the roof guys look how old this build is all right let's head down here i just batson hoover and stuff in here right so we'll head back down because we can't get in any oh oh wow so we're inside one of the hotel rooms who said this is a five star and you can see why that's absolutely incredible i wonder why this show this tv still on the wall still turned on i believe is that everything exactly where we found it okay let's check that out guys that is beautiful all right let's head this way we'll head back down let's see what we can find see where the uh molds starting to come from the walls 2019 it's when it closed oh naughty bullet yeah so this is salah let's get this light turned up yeah so we're down in the cellar now guys let's have a look what we have here wow [Music] this looks like the boiler room ah look at the original windows that's incredible i love these features original features but this is definitely the type of place that uh would call for a paranormal that's not creepy at all jesus this old crochet so let me know in the comments how you pronounce that ah that one's a sealed shirt oh wow this one's got the light on as well just all the christmas decks and stuff like that in here wow that is insane look at all that all right let me know what you get at the moment guys if you get any vibes down here i definitely am it's a bit creepy fireplace too it's a shame these the huge tables are covering it up another original door it's got some nice paintings of the place from when it was opened we have anything through me [Music] oh wow this looks like it would have been an office at one point what do we have up here [Music] northern electrical ventilating oh wow so it's got a library east port smoking room oak hall dining room drawing room parlor wow yeah this definitely looks like the the head of the hotel head of the house would use this room and then we just have all the uh cutlery all the plates stuff like that all left what do we have here madame duvan mary lloyd well that's old this place is beautiful guys let's push forward we are moving quite quick through this place because it's so big i do want to try and cover everything if that makes sense that's the problem with these big gaffes have a look upstairs see what this is all about it just looks like more hotel rooms here guys but imagine what this was like back when it was open light sensors wow have a look at this windows it looks like well that would be an old stable sir all right but let's head this way through the door uh we're back on these stairs now guys bit of a bit of a maze this place you just keep end up going back on yourself right so if we head down this way ah we're back at the oh my own uh reflection scared the hell out of me then guys i forgot there was a mirror there yeah so if we just yeah look at this place oh these are all antlers wow i'm gonna have to get a nice shot of this this is incredible [Music] so we're just gonna head back down now and then make our way down the far side of the building oh wow look at this original floor that is insane proper old stone floor push keep the doors how we left though how we found them oh wow these would be uh the old light switches original that's beautiful look at these windows imagine looking out with them at night if this was your house be great wouldn't it all right let's head through the alarmed door so that looks like it would be the original back door of the building and we will head down here this time we've been through there [Music] so this is like the guts of the place now what would we have here oh this would be like an old maybe a staff bar whether when it was a house where the help would be out the way of all the lords and ladies oh i like all these bottles of coke check these out look at this fireplace and this is backstage guys this is the stuff that the public don't see [Music] some sort of props here that's strange hmm that doesn't really make much sense but you have a mixture here of tables candlesticks these are definitely all the originals check the table legs yeah definitely all original stuff oh look at this being bar that'll be for outside in the summer that'd be nice and where are we now no idea but these will be for the rooms so the water they look old probably not little guys and here it looks like we have a bar or where you would come and get your food for the evening don't really know guys but we will head backstage wow look at the size of this [Music] this would be where the hotel would uh prepare the food definitely just by the way the place is shaped i'd say this is where the help prepared the food as well back when it was a house but all this stuff still left here probably waiting to be sold with the building wow this is insane place is massive it's got some cereals and stuff there pastry cupboard all still left wow some dried mixed mushrooms there guys if you like a fan of a mushroom [Music] all the blades still and we have the uh fridges still with food in a bit of a leak there as well guys now you can see the flies are all over it now been left open well too long but look at this back door this is where the help would enter [Music] where the staff would come in out the way seen and not heard or is that the right way around not sure but anyway let's make our way back so what do you think
