Abandoned Highlanders Cottage Scotland | Everything Left Behind

[Music] good [Music] we have ventured over 500 miles to the highlands of scotland in search of a desolate abandoned cottage isolated surrounded by open fields and stunning views this off-grid getaway has a truly peaceful atmosphere the silence here is deafening [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] possessions remain like they were being used just yesterday [Music] what's going on guys we've just arrived in scotland this is the first episode of the scotland road trip and it is a winter wonderland out here snow everywhere damn good [Applause] oh oh after a little hike you can see the cottage in the distance arrived at the first destination and check out the scenery wow and there it is whoa it's nice out here made it inside and this place is a true time capsule all the old memories left behind it's old-fashioned wallpaper at the fireplace of the green tiles all the kitchen utensils old school radio the water the wallpaper yeah funky oh this is the kitchen it's such a strange layout it's a really strange layout bathroom looks so strange it's just like a normal room with a toilet here really yeah wow oh found an upgrade call come here quick i found an upgrade not great but andrew [Laughter] bro well we should if we could take it that would be great old school oven it's even got a little grill on top everything is left behind all the cutlery look at any of these oh all the glasses are left yeah i like those all the old pots and pans look at that it's like a dart there oh yeah yeah jam chili jam i love chili jam oh it's a little bathroom look at the old sink not much going on in here pink pink pretty in pink not your style dress is it look at the toilet it's got carpet on there oh why you do that this is a good thing yeah it's like weird contraction wow still got the original bed look at those what are those uh snowboard boots or something oh no they're just snow boots those are old-school snowflakes right now yeah we do this would have been super cozy oh paint photo low ceilings dresser yes really low ceilings look at that's like a picture of that dog or something true friendship is a joyous thing and gives us happy hours a friendless life would be so dreary like gardens without flowers awesome that's a that's an old wasp's nest that was a funky carpet it's like 60s star let's see that's a nice dresser infallible mousetrap i wonder when this is from october the 11th doesn't have the year strange you'd think it wouldn't oh there's another dresser there as well it's covered in bird poo it's old biscuit tin no biscuits left unfortunately napolitan when's this one for 1997. a year after i was born this year i was born what the hell did you see that yeah yeah well it might be a business actually there's a bird's nest is it yeah there's old ornaments on the wall it's like it looks like it's like a knight's templar stuff the headless santa oh no it's not even sanner so it's a scotsman wow look at the living room these guys are literally just saying that there's no power to this house there isn't no that's look at all these knick-knacks all these memories that's left here the smallest one too it's cool man it's really cool the old clock wow strange feeling coming into these sorts of places everything left behind all the memories left there residual energy hanging around it's actually quite sad seeing stuff just left behind like one day that this this could be all of our stuff just left there rotten away all right guys so we found another butterfly wing and as you know this is a sign that a spirit resides in this house and the story goes a 13 year old boy fell to his death down the stairs here so who knows if his spirit's still lingering but if you want to see an investigation in here head over to dark arts tv
