A YouTuber Meet & Greet! Visiting With Our Viewers in Person!

welcome to Ozark Family homestad yay hey guys it's Janice from Ozark Family Homestead and today we finally have the video put together about the meet and greet so warning right up front this video is definitely a hodg podge of things so Not only was i f filming here and there but Samuel was filming David was filming and so there's just little Random clips by different people of different things so it's probably going to be a little choppy but I think it's fun we were really focusing on visiting face to face with the people that were able to be there so I just uh ask for a little bit of forgiveness there on that but what you're going to see in the video okay so the day before the meet and greet we obviously did a lot of preparation set up there at the fellowship hall of the church building where we held the event and we had friends come and help out so you're going to see some of those preparations the food prep the it's not decorating but just the setup of the things and uh so we show that and then we do take some video actually you know Dearing the meet and greet and um I just I hope you guys look at this video and you can feel the joy and the excitement and the happiness that our family felt that day because it was a joyful exciting happy event and I really do hope that we're able to do it again in the future CU it really was a lot of fun but anyhow I wanted to share it with you guys and I hope you enjoy so here we go all right we have lots of washing up of the veggies Sarah show them that big monster colander that the church has yeah get it done fast using that so they're washing them up getting them put in these aluminum trays and we're just going to put them in the refrigerator for overnight we've got our friend are you nameless or are we sharing your name I don't care Emily Emily is here helping so so that's what the uh the children are working on and more veggies over here they there's lots to keep us busy and this is the can crew over here your wrists are going to hurt tomorrow miss Vicki came up from do you want to say where you're from Hattisburg Mississippi yes came all the way up here to see us and she's helping so we're so so appreciative so glad to be here but yeah this is what they've been doing is uh opening cans and graining cans and Miss Mary came to help too so she's a good friend and Samuel's helping out over here David is going to take over the camera he's a professional yeah I'm pretty sure there's a certification somewhere right you're certified uh yeah at least I'll be yeah soon soon you can draw up something real quick to make sure that you have a certified paper Okay David's going to take over the camera and he's just going to film as we're working and you're going to get some good stuff right all right and then I'm going to focus on chil I reassure you that we will be taking out all the lids while dumping them hopefully unless we don't forget something no one finds a lid in their bowl of Chien yes if they did oh no it's all her fault not mine not my fault oh yes it's your fault not mine coloring think we just have all the coloring books in here so what are you do working on we're setting up the activity table what if we have the activity stuff on one table and the color so maybe like what if we put like these crayons like in the center here and then put the other crayons like with the activity stuff over there yese the coloring p okay hey I was all right here I'm filming here's Rebecca Rebecca's on a cookie David is it a pretty cookie yeah yeah it's got a pretty girl on a cookie yeah so our gift all the way from Mississippi so yeah these are so so cool I hope you can see them through the these are cookies like we can eat them we can eat them baby the camera actually face detected them no did it the camera realized that those were faces on there so there's all kinds of neat things in here there's a lot of cookies in there oh my thank you so much to give you something from Mississippi and there's grits in there I didn't even know we grew grits in Mississippi no idea noidea you want to eat a cookie yeah okay we'll open it up and you can eat a cookie awesome okay here let's let's open it up look like a a picture right now there's a picture on the cookie so you can actually eat it David's ready to buy bite off everybody's head pi and cup it's one my first book okay well we're going oh two so special oh all right you guys can go ahead and eat your cookies y need me isn't it cool czy it's so neat Rebecca was excited to eat Andrew apparently he's tasty oh he tastes like cookie show that you going to show me did to show me your cookie what did you do to Andrew let me see let me see you bit off his head yum yum you bit off your own head you is it yummy mhm all right guys I wanted to give you a little peek here of what's going on before everybody shows up because I'm afraid I'll be busy and uh I I don't know how much videoing I'll actually do I'm going to play that by ear and see but I'm going to go ahead and give you a little rundown here real quick um this is well we're going to put these there at the ramp that everyone the entry way that everyone will be coming in and uh so hopefully that'll give people an idea of where to enter this is the table as soon as people come in you like your lollipop that's my mop she she just fishing and us she's finishing it off yeah little sisters are good about that aren't they you STI on like so when people come in they can sign the guest book right here which was a gift from a viewer so that was very very nice uh Rebecca decided to share her lollipops that she got from a viewer as well cuz there's no way she could use all of them up and the name tags aren't they so so cute and I brought the pretty color Sharpie so everybody can pick their favorite color not right now baby in a little bit and this is the plaque that a viewer made for us so we've set this out too and we have our first pen Miss Lisa is here from New York and uh she's here helping us this morning helping us set up but this is where all of our guests can take a pen and put wherever it is that they traveled from today then right behind here we have this is the the giveaways the prize table whatever you want to call it there we're going to let our guests put their name on the slip of paper and it says put your name in Daisy's milk bucket this is actually one of the milk buckets that is used every morning to milk Daisy and then they'll be entered in the drawing for these prizes so we oh we have one entry in there so far but these are the prizes some of them I already showed you um in a previous video but I baked bread last night this came out of the oven at 12:20 this morning because I wanted it to be fresh for whoever wanted to take it home with them and then Sarah brought some of her preserves uh some pear sauce and pear jam there's some strawberry jam apple pie filling apple jelly and watermelon rinded pickles and that's from a watermelon you know that we grew on our property uh same thing with the Paras sauce that's from pears from our Orchard this is also a little bundle with um one of our loofah gourd sponges that uh we grew on our farm and a soap that I buy these from Azure standard we did not make the soap and then some seeds that Sarah collected from the lofa gourd plants so you could grow your own these are variety of seeds that Sarah collected mine that's yours no that's not yours that's a present for somebody today yeah a pretty present so these are seeds that uh were collected from our property so watermelon that's from that 37 lb watermelon that we did a short on it uh molds tat soy which is like a bok choy it's a green zenas and oh the Chinese long bean so and oh more seeds here these are just from Baker Creek seeds brand new uh packets of seeds here a pretty sunflower a marold some basil a morning glory but I was told this is not an invasive morning glory nerum and cilantro moving on down this way we have a table set up thinking that the family would sit here as like for the first hour just to kind of like a reception line but right now Anna and her friend are working on bracelets here and they're thinking if there are other children that come and want to help make bracelets they could sit down and work with you that's a good plan they're looking forward to that and then down here at the end we have the activity tables for the kids set up and these activities viewers have sent I mean 99% of these things were sent in by viewers um these uh plac mat papers here actually just came in this morning so those are new just all kinds of stuff crayons activity books pencils for drawing bookmarks to color in all kinds of fun things to keep children happy uh we brought some coloring sheets that a viewer sent a whole bunch of super nice coloring sheets for the kids um more place mats and a make your own bookmark all kinds of fun things rebec no weapon formed against me shall prosper is that how it goes yeah [Music] yeah [Music] at you want to get hooked up yeah yeah Buckle me up sister so this is stroller that a viewer sent us and we are going to use it today to keep Rebecca contained off and on then we'll push you today yeah yeah they can push you in your new stroller yeah yeah got lots of helpers in the kitchen stirring up pots of chili and Miss Lisa helped get the hot dog going I didn't know if you wanted to say hi on camera or not I'm all right with it she's been a huge huge help this morning and we even got to eat supper with Miss Lisa last night so that was special so and then out here we've got the line here for food everybody will pick up their plates um this is the shredded cheese for the chili or the chili cheese dogs and we're just getting things pulled out and ready to go corn chips all the hot dog buns here there's 40 packages of hot dog buns here all the toppings for hot dogs and then everyone's uh Cutlery napkins we've got drinks some water lemonade and tea the cups and then lots of coffee down this way with all the different creamers and sugar and all that in here is a jar of cream from Daisy our Cal so we're going to set that out it's here in ice packs right now but we'll set that out here in just a little bit Sarah's getting the dessert table set up she's cutting the coffee cake Sarah made the coffee cakes and the brownies and Anna made her peanut butter Hershey Kiss cookies so getting those prepped and then a friend sent pecan pies today and another friend has made up no baked cookies and chocolate chip cookies so I think we're doing pretty good on desserts oh I almost forgot over on this side this is where all the chips and things are set out and the saltine crackers for everyone's chili and then behind me here on this salad bar is where we're setting out the veggie trays and those will be refilled as needed so those are radishes broccoli and the little mini peppers with the ranch dressing so we're about to see who's going to show up and how the day is going to go she's happy now all right guys we'll see how the day goes okay it's happening guys we have people here I think it's 11:15 or so and people are coming in and we've got pins in the map there so miss Robin there's your appearance here I was gonna go around with everybody and I can give you a hug and okay you give me a hug okay you give me a h okay that makes me happy oh my what what happened nobody's giving you hugs no no no I no hug like high five big high five yeah okay guys I wanted to show you all something um we have guests here and those of you that have watched our previous videos May recognize this this was a gift that we were given it's been a couple months now that we were we were given it and it's hanging on our wall there right between uh the dining room in the kitchen on the way into the living room and we love it and the creator of this is here today and I'm going to let him tell you guys about his business because we are very very pleased with this and we highly recommend it so just a second hi I'm I'm Jay from rpj Creations I do uh custom laser engraving I do cutting boards realize we would be in it for this long just thought it was for a short season and the Lord keeps opening up and showing us new avenues and new steps to take and um but in the meantime in the midst of now there are some other clips that Samuel and I have set aside we're going to do a totally separate video on making chili for 200 people so we do have some footage of that process and um we're hoping maybe to have that out next week possibly so Samuel did also want me to be sure to tell you guys that he feels like he's a better editor than he is a uh cameraman he feels really really badly that uh when Miss he was filming Miss Anna sitting there at the uh table Miss Anna is one of the ladies that was able to come at the very end and she waves and smiles so pretty right there as Sam moves the camera away and Sam says it just bothers me so much Mama so be sure to tell her I feel really bad about that so I told him I would relay the message to you guys I am going to in the description box corkboard guys the map and of course that was Miss Lisa up here at the top they're New York we had folks come in from Mary land Indiana Illinois a whole bunch this is the Ozarks here Missouri Arkansas there some Iowa of course Miss Vicki Mississippi and then miss Claudia came in from Texas so to have people come from these areas to see us we've had a channel for 7even months you guys that they
