Pine Park is a set of trails in Dartmouth's backyard. It's really just like a choose your own adventure kinda thing. You can go at whatever pace you want. You can walk with friends, walk alone. I'm from Miami, and so pine trees are very different. It's a really different environment for me. It's just a little pocket of New England right next to Dartmouth. For me personally, I really like to go on runs here just because it's, again, so different from where I'm from. And also I really enjoy doing readings out here. I'll bring my textbooks and everything, and there's a little bench along the trail, and sit down there, do my homework and am reminded that the textbook isn't everything. There's so much bigger world out there. There's a certain sense of timelessness here. You enter it, and it's just so different and so calming to just be able to be out here.
