so if you're an avid viewer of this channel then one i love you and two you may have noticed that i haven't uploaded a new video in 11 days and if you didn't notice that i didn't upload in 11 days what's wrong with you why don't you pay more attention to my life what if i was dead what do you have some sort of life outside of youtube how dare you how dare you but yeah i haven't uploaded in 11 days with no real warning besides posting on some of my social medias like twitter and instagram which you should go follow if you didn't know what was going on linked in the description and i was gonna come back and just start uploading as if nothing had happened but i felt bad for those of you who don't follow me on social media and were confused and or worried it's nothing bad but the reason i haven't been uploading is because i was out in california for 11 days filming a very top secret youtube project i'm not allowed to say more than that i know it's killing you inside it's killing me inside for not being able to tell you yet but just know it's awesome because that's the only reason i would have decided to go to california for 11 days with a six month old with like a month's notice but yes it's super awesome and you will find out what it is early next year so you don't have to wait too long because we're already almost done with this year i can say and will say though that it was not for escape the night when i mentioned on twitter earlier last month that i was doing something big in california so many people started speculating and throwing around evidence that i was doing escape the night like the new season of escape the night with joey that would have been awesome but no that's not what this is for i even think joey came out and said that they weren't doing another season of escape the night at least as a youtube original i could be wrong but i'm pretty sure that's what he said but yes i'm sorry to let you guys down but no it was not for escape tonight but it was for something just as awesome but yes i posted on my instagram story that i was flying with melody and bobby and we stayed out there and it was a lot of fun but i did not have enough time to prep basically two weeks worth of videos i was able to finalize those last couple videos for halloween and then that was it so i apologize but not totally apologize because i'm gonna be honest with you guys i was so extremely burnt out and exhausted it was very hard trying to prep videos take care of a baby finalize all of our personal and house stuff to be gone for two weeks stressing about traveling with a baby for the first time and then also preparing for this secret youtube project that i was going out there for i don't at all regret it it was super fun and i am so excited for you guys to see what i worked on out there but i just wanted to come back and let you guys know that basically i'm exhausted i was exhausted before i left i was exhausted while i was there it was very long days fun days but long days and then the travel just wipes me out and now i'm home and i'm still exhausted so i'm mainly making this video as like a check-in with you guys you know where my head is at and what's been going on with me i'm okay you don't have to put in the comments like take a break we know i know i know you guys support me and taking a break i love doing youtube though so that's why i do this i love it i know i could take a break and be fine but at the same time i also miss it so that's also why people have been asking where my life of luxury reaction is because they put out a new video that's coming tomorrow i am doing that basically this week while i try to get back to my normal self and catch up with everything that i've basically put off for a month because i was focused on getting ready for this trip this week i'm trying to play catch up on rest and that stuff i'll be putting out two other videos this week besides this one just like some quick easy like the life of luxury reaction was easy i can do that i really been wanting to watch it and i'll be doing another quick video next week we'll be back to normal i'm really looking forward to i'm so looking forward to focusing on my content i feel like i started taking sponsorships again a couple months ago i took a break from them if you didn't realize as like kind of a maternity leave so i could just focus on making content when and if i wanted to make content instead of like being on a company's timeline and i have just a couple more sponsorships that i still want to do and signed on for but after that i just i want to focus on just my content what i want to make when i want to make it i have honestly been absolutely loving everything i've been posting the past couple months even though i've been stressed out and working like crazy i feel like my best ideas have been coming out like i love the i worked series like me working various jobs across games i love all the horror games that i've been finding lately i love all the ridiculous app games i love the life of luxury reaction videos i just feel like i've hit my stride on what my personality and humor goes the best with with videos and it's very exciting and i have a bunch of video ideas for the next couple weeks i'm very excited to work on some of them require a little bit more time which i want to start doing i want to focus on videos that are going to require a little bit more time that'll maybe have a bigger payoff and thus i won't be uploading as much but it'll be worth it but yes this is a video of secrets like i said in the title because it's about my secret youtube project that i can't talk about so that's a real big secret the other secret is something i never really talk about how tired i am but that's to be expected with you know the time difference and the travel and working a lot i just want to be real with you guys i get tired too what other secrets could i divulge this is the first time that i've done my hair like this it's mermaid waves they're called what do you guys think leave a like if you think this is a good look for me i think it's cute i definitely can't do it every day it took forever but it's cute oh which brings me to something else not really a secret i guess it's a secret for those of you who are watching this video versus people who decide not to but during this secret youtube project that i was working on i had the chance to try on lots of different wardrobes and get my hair and makeup professionally done and i feel like it's awoken something in me i've never been a girly girl i'm still not but i did get motivated to put a little bit more effort into my hair and makeup and what i'm wearing i mean i'm still gonna be me i'm still gonna do it my way but just you know not just like letting my hair go after i go to the shower and throwing a t-shirt and come down here because that's what i was doing for years well like doing the mermaid waves this morning and putting a cliff in like who am i but yeah going forward you might notice in my videos that i'm trying to do a little bit more of my aesthetic as far as my outfits and makeup and hair goes very exciting i know just in case you're like oh lauren's like lauren looks like slightly different in these videos that's why through this project i feel like i've learned a little bit more about what i like and don't like as weird as that sounds like somebody else doing things for me for a week helped me see what they see that looks good on me i guess and i'm like oh that does look good i like that i can't wait for you guys to just to see so you know what i'm talking about but yeah if you notice in my future videos that like my aesthetic is different that's why trying out some things feel free to let me know in the comments whether you like or hate it what else oh i had new merch drop while i was away and i kind of promoted it yeah there was new hand-drawn alien hoodies with my actual legitimate signature on the front of them that i hand wrote myself those will only be out for a limited time so make sure if you want an alien hoodie to grab one before they're gone what else i guess mainly i just felt like i missed you guys and i wanted to connect a little bit more one-on-one and feel more like a regular person because to you i'm just this person you watch on the internet to make you happy or whatever but just so you remember i'm a living breathing being before you ask everybody's been great melody's great dexter had a nice long vacation with my in-laws and their dog who he loves so he's doing great and he's back home bobby's been doing great and was a lifesaver because he had to watch melody while i did my secret youtube project so thank goodness for him and that or else i wouldn't have been able to do it being a mom is still awesome but equally as exhausting i'm super excited for the holidays especially now that i'm not going anywhere for a while i'm not leaving this house for a while i've done my travel but yeah i guess that's about it should i have made this video well it's too late now i made it it's out i guess the main takeaway from this video is look forward to something awesome early next year and that's the biggest reason why i haven't uploaded in 11 days two i'm honestly the happiest i've been like everything is great very excited about a lot of things i've been enjoying family life i've been enjoying the content i've been making the channel's doing well i'm happy i'm stressed and have constant anxiety but that's fine that's not new i've had that forever and three uh that i'm just tired i'm just tired and so i'm gonna need a little bit more patience this week to get myself back to normal most gonna be working on some weight loss finally i'm finally ready i think before i was like uh i don't care about losing the baby weight i want to eat what i want to eat now i'm like no i think it's time it's been six months but yeah new content this week this video and then like two actual regular videos and then next week we're getting back into it and for more secrets if you stayed this long in the video i want to reward you we got life of luxury reaction coming up we have some more i worked games of course and creepy horror indie games we have an animal crossing video in the works what probably not till next week though i have a minecraft video in the works now that i finally have time i have a very epic bread related video coming up probably for thanksgiving and yeah those are probably my big my big video ideas coming soon and in the meantime because what the hell was this video check out one of these videos instead i will be back to my former glory tomorrow with that that video i just needed to put all this out there
