there is a large list of new games that just leaked for Nintendo switch 2 and we are not talking about brand new unannounced projects but rather games we knew would be coming to other platforms but we now have a tier one credible leaker that when it comes to Sega and Atlas games they never get things wrong this person is none other than madori and they are now claiming that a handful of games will be headed to switch 2 we'll go over exactly all of what those are not to mention we also have a ratings board listing for a game that we were expecting to come to Nintendo switch that now sounds like it is still in the pipeline that is none other than Hi-Fi Rush the first party Microsoft title that was just mysteriously missing after we thought it would be headed to all platforms see if thieves is still a question mark but there's a lot of games to unpack here and it's an exciting time as we anticipate some kind of official Nintendo switch 2 announcement because one of the biggest things that I'm looking forward to with more powerful Nintendo Hardware is not only the new experiences that Nintendo will create no doubt from a first party perspective but also so the plethora of third- party support that we can see that we might otherwise be left out of the conversation of with something like the current power level that we have in the switch today so we'll get on the same page with all of these details before we do make sure you like subscribe and turn on your bell notification to join subber Nation if you're new here and I want to first start out by hopping over to my Nintendo news where you can see the following article which reads madori all of the Sega reboots are coming to switch too proven Sega Atlas leaker madori has commented further on the Slate of remakes in in the works over at Sega and now says that all of them are destined for the successor to the Nintendo switch Sega previously announced the Jet Set Radio Golden Axe Shinobi Streets of Rage and Crazy Taxi are all being revived though it refused to announce platforms it now seems as though these titles will be skipping the original Nintendo switch and will instead land on the unannounced switch 2 and you can then see the string of tweets which revealed all of the information around this and some new bonus details for the Jet Set Radio remake which I am personally very hyped for where you see the following post rumored the new Jet Set Radio is not a remake but an open world reboot that merges Jet Set Radio and jetset Radio Future the title of this game will be Jet Set Radio blast and will be releasing May 8th 2025 madori then replies the new Jet Set Radio title is a reboot that merges elements of both titles there are multiple worlds planned at launch the release year is currently 2026 they then reference an older Tweet back from February which reads the new Jet Set Radio game is not a remake the game is a reboot that will be released in 2026 a remastered version of Jet Set Radio was also planned then somebody replies Jet Set Radio remake for switch 2 and madori replies this is correct information every Atlas and Sega remake is also releasing on switch 2 and then to provide some insight on whether or not we might see some of these games get a switch One release a user asked what about the original switch I know the answer is most likely no but I don't know if I'm ready to upgrade yet madori replies Sega will continue to release some remake titles on the switch if it is possible this may change depending on the sales of the next Nintendo Hardware so I don't think this was too much of a stretch of an idea to begin with Sega and Nintendo have a great partnership and it was one of those things that as long as they could get their games visually to run okay on the switch or switch 2 these were probably coming to those platforms either way we saw them do a port for Sonic Frontiers which you could argue probably took a little bit of Hoops to figure out on how to work around the Nintendo switch limitations I mean at least they put in the work to make a visually downgraded version that would run on switch because Sega knows they have a large chunk of Their audience on Nintendo hardware and considering the Nintendo switch 2 will be vastly more powerful and just from the trailer of the Sega remake games it does look like they are just visually demanding enough not that they couldn't run on switch but that Sega might have to jump through some hoops to make that kind of stuff happen and it sounds like they're more or less confirmed to be headed to switch 2 and there may be certain remakes that still get a release on the current switch that we have today and I'm personally super pumped for the additional details around Jet Set Radio also because I have crazy Nostalgia for that game and just hearing that it merges elements from the original and the sequel and then supposedly we also have the original remake to look forward to as well in 2026 like that's pretty exciting maybe these get moved up and they are 2025 games but I'm going to set my expectations on 2026 also Crazy Taxi super ready for that series to return it has been far too long since I've just spent endless hours in an arcade chaos setting racing around picking up passengers and dropping them off at their destinations with all types of chaos on screen I'm ready for it hopefully it's a banger soundtrack like it was back in the '90s and early 2000s we'll have to see what Sega does with all of that but you also have to realize that this is not only the Sega remakes but we're also talking about all the atlas games the Persona 3 reload and metaphor which both look great this is a lot of third party support from major partners for Nintendo like Sega and Atlas and it's just nice to have this kind of early confirmation from somebody so reliable that we can more or less expect these things to actually come to fruition of course nothing's confirmed until it's actually all said and done but as I mentioned it's not that much of a stretch to imagine that this was going to happen anyway just due to the partnership and I do believe Nintendo's crafting powerful enough Hardware that maybe the Gap will start to be closed on some of the question marks around on whether or not we should see certain thirdparty games be in the conversation to come to Nintendo Hardware or not I'm ready to see all the missing stuff all the Missing Souls games on there Elden give me a bunch of the missing catalog from the PS4 Xbox One era plus these new projects that we're still learning about and that we will no doubt see more over the summer as we're getting close to what would have been E3 time of course Microsoft has their event announced we will probably see a Mainline nendo direct from Nintendo Sony will no doubt put on some kind of showcase and I'm hopeful that we're talking about some official information around switch 2 fairly soon from Nintendo now the other last thing we have to mention briefly in this video is the confirm for a switch game or more or less a confirmation mistakes have been made in rating boards in the past but typically when you see a game show up on any kind of major International rating board it does end up making it out it was filed for a reason and Hi-Fi Rush appears to be headed to Nintendo switch as we really speculated that it would due to some data mining that revealed like a Nintendo switch Edition type of shirt for it but you can see the exact details typed up over on VC's article where they have the following outlined Hi-Fi Rush has been raided for Nintendo switch in Europe it's the first official acknowledgement of the much rumored version this marks the first acknowledgement of a Nintendo switch version of the game from an official gaming body Peggy paneuropean game information is the official rating board for software in Europe a Nintendo switch version of the game being rated strongly suggest that a release is imminent highi Rush which was first released on PC and Xbox in January 2023 became one of four Microsoft first party games to be published on PS5 alongside pentant grounded and sea of Thieves while a Nintendo switch version of the game was rumored alongside it it has yet to materialize assets found in an update for HiFi Rush appeared to reference three new outfits for the main character a green shirt for Xbox platforms a blue one for PlayStation platforms and a red one for the yet unannounced Nintendo switch version so on that topic of third party support for I guess the current switch in this case but also the switch too like we know that Microsoft wants to partner big time with Nintendo they're very much in the mindset of just bringing their most successful games to any platform that will have them essentially they are going more the route of as long as you're playing our games we're happy and we don't care which Hardware you were playing them on even though they will continue to sell their own Hardware they're definitely putting less of a focus on that and locking down all of their IP as exclusives and they're testing the waters with bringing it out to broader markets and seeing if the revenue just makes more sense for them to put it everywhere and then they get their little Kickback from each so high-fi Rush was always a perfect fit for the Nintendo switch in my mind I wouldn't be surprised if we see an initial release on the switch and then some kind of upgraded version with better visuals available on the switch 2o not to mention just yesterday's video talking about things like backwards compatibility if a lot of these games can be simply patched or updated to run at 60 FPS and look better on the next gen switch that's just a win-win if you can get away with owning the same copy and it gets some kind of upgrade for the nextg hardware like we see happen a lot with PlayStation and Xbox games today so when it comes to third party support for me the future looks bright for switch 2 at this point in time but that's where I really want to hear from you guys at this point in the video what do you make of all of these new leaks and reports do you think that yes indeed we can more or less take to the bank that Sega and Atlas games all the remakes and all of the announcements they've put out there so far will indeed be headed to switch too you think there's a chance that this is bad info and it doesn't happen and are you at all excited for Hi-Fi rush to ultimately make it to Nintendo switch and do you think we will see any kind of switch 2 version down the line so make sure you share all your thoughts and feelings regardless of if we agree or disagree in the comments down below thanks so much for watching the video today also make sure you like subscribe and turn on your bell notification on your way out and I will see you guys next time
