housekeeping note optimal weapon combos in dark tide are complicated while some weapons have attack combos that are pretty cut and dry others have multiple different options and the correct one to use can easily change depending on your situation blessings and build don't take this video as an absolute of these are the only combos you should ever use but consider it more of an introduction to the various combos you can perform with each weapon and a stepping stone to help you to figure out which one is the best for you for clarity sake I will be listing the blessings used alongside every weapon shown not to say You must use these blessings but to give you an idea of how some combos might work better than others additionally let's go over what kind of combos I'll be showcasing hord clear combo refers to the attack combo that is most effective against hordes with little to no armor mixed hord clear combo refers to the attack combo that is most effective against hordes made of mostly armor or with a generous amount of armor mixed in with unarmored enemies and single Target damage combo refers to the attack combo that is most effective against single targets especially those with armor finally various kinds of attack terminology will be shown throughout the video to explain how to perform these combos which will look something like this for a complete list and explanation of these terms check out the description or the pinned comment down below it is done for the Mark 1 Devil's claws sword its hord clear combo is a heavy attack followed by a light attack while its mixed hord combo is heavy attack spam its single Target damage combo is a heavy attack followed by two light attacks for the markv Devil's claw swword its hord clear and mixed horde combo is a light targets while its single Target combo is heavy attack and push attack spam for the mark 2 Tac axe its horde clear and mixed horde combo is heavy attack spam while its single Target combo is light attack span for the mark 4 tack Act its heavy attacks and special attacks are sorely lacking which means that light attack spam is the way to go for any and all situations with some occasional push attacks for controlling hordes for the Mark 7 tack axe its hord clear and mixed horde combo is a heavy attack chained into a light attack or a push attack into a heavy attack if you want to make space instead its single Target combo is simply light attack spam for the assault chainsword its hord clear and mixed horde combo is heavy attack spam while its single Target combo is a revved heavy attack a push attack into a light attack offers a faster and therefore safer single Target combo as well for the assault chain axe its hord clear combo is first a push attack followed by a heavy attack until extra damage spamming a charged light attack will keep an enemy Perma stun locked and let you kill them with ease and the god Emperor's name for Zealot eviscerator its horde clear and mixed horde combo is a heavy attack followed by a light attack you can add a push attack in before the heavy attack for strong hord clear or a single target attack to pick off isolated Elites its single target attack is simply a revved heavy attack which does more damage than a reved light attack for the mark 6 heavy sword its hord clear combo is light attack spam while its mixed horde clear combo is a light attack followed by a heavy attack its single Target combo is either a push attack into a special attack for staggering lesser units and damage or just special attack spam for damage for the Mark 7 heavy sword its hord clear combo is light attack spam while its mixed hord clear combo is a heavy attack followed by a light attack its single Target combo has many options you can do a light attack followed by a heavy attack a push attack into a heavy attack or special attack spam for the mark 9 heavy sword its horde clear combo is light attack spam while its mixed hord clear combo is also light attack spam for more dense hordes though you can also use a light attack followed by a heavy attack its single Target combo is a special attack followed by a heavy attack for the mark 2 thunderhammer its hord clear and mixed horde combo is heavy attack spam with the occasional charged heavy to pick off isolated Elites its single target attack is a charged heavy attack which does more damage than a charged light attack for the markv thunderhammer it's hor clear and mixed hord combo is heavy heavy light then heavy light repeating you can also choose to block cancel to reset the attack pattern and repeat the double heavy combo if you want to its single Target combo differs depending on what you're trying to kill for Boss damage or damage against tougher enemies like mutants and ogens a Charged heavy attack is better for anything else a push attack into a heavy attack is faster and more effective especially if you hit a head shot on the heavy attack as it's an instant kill against most non-armored units for the crusher its horde clear combo is a light attack followed by a heavy attack its mixed horde combo is a mixture between charged light attack spam and charged heavy attack spam the former for when you want to control the horde and the latter for when you want to maximize your single Target damage to pick off Elites its single Target combo is simply just charged heavy attack spam for the mark 2 Force sword its hord clear combo is a light attack followed by a heavy attack and then a block cancel to reset the attack pattern its mixed horde clear combo is light heavy light with a third attack being aimed towards the enemy you want to kill more since the stab has higher single Target damage it's single target attack is simply a special infused heavy attack for the markv for sword you have two options for its hord clear you can either light attack spam for the highest DPS or push attack into two light light attacks for the highest amount of defense and cleave you can also choose between these two attacks for its mixed horde clear but often times light attack spam will be better due to its overall higher DPS its single Target combo is simply a special infused heavy attack for the mark 5 Force sword its hord clear and mixed horde combo is simply just special infused heavy attack spam its single Target combo is also special infused heavy attack spam but you can do special infused light attack spam to Perma stagger lesser enemies for easier kills for the mark 2 dueling sword its hord clear combo is light attack spam with the occasional push attack to keep the horde in check while its mixed horde combo is heavy attack spam with the occasional push attack to keep the horde in check its single Target combo is heavy attack spam or a special attack followed by a heavy attack to keep a Target stun locked for the markv dueling sword its horde clear and mixed hord combo is light attack spam you can also choose to hoard clear with heavy attack spam which can sometimes hoard clear faster but is significantly more dangerous to do its single Target combo is heavy attack spam or a special attack followed by a heavy attack to keep a Target stun locked for the mark 5 dual sword its hord clear and mixed hord combo is a push attack followed by light attack spam you can also choose to hord clear mixed hordes using heavy attack spam but it is significantly more dangerous to do so and is not always the right call depending on PING and size of The Horde its single Target combo is heavy attack spam or a special attack followed by a heavy attack to keep a Target stun locked m is dead for the Mark 1 bully Club its hord clear and mixed horde combo is a light attack followed by a heavy attack its single Target combo is simply spamming heavy attacks as fast as you can for the Mark 2 bully Club its hord clear and mixed horde combo is either light attack spam or a heavy attack followed by a light attack the former of which is faster and the latter of which has Superior cleave stagger and damage if you're running the bleed and heavy hitter talents on Ogen its single Target combo is simply spamming heavy attacks as fast as you can alternatively if you want a slightly less damaging but faster attack speed combo you can chain a light attack into a heavy attack for the Mark III bully Club its hord clear and mixed horde combo is two light attacks followed by a block cancel to reset the attack animation alternatively for a slightly slower yet more staggering combo you can chain a light attack into a heavy attack which will also allow you to gain the benefits from the bleed and heavy hitter talents its single Target combo depends on if you're running ogren's bleed and heavy hitter t if so then spamming heavy attacks will work just fine if not then a push attack into a light attack will be better for the Mark III Cleaver its hord clear and mixed horde combo is either light attack spam or a light attack into a heavy attack the former of which sacrifices damage for Speed whereas the latter sacrifices speed for damage and stagger a push attack followed by a light attack is also a good combo for when you're you're caught off guard and need to make some space its single Target combo is a heavy attack followed by a punch for the markv cleaver its hord clear and mixed horde combo is push attack heavy light followed by heavy light repeating its single Target combo is two light attacks to stab twice than a block cancel to reset the attack animation for the mark 6 Cleaver it's hor clear and mixed hord combo depends on if you're using the bleed and heavy hitter talents if so then heavy attack spam is the best option if not then light attack spam with the occasional push attack is better alternatively you can use a push attack followed by a heavy light repeating to hord clear as well its single Target combo is simply heavy attack spam for ogan shovel its hord clear and mixed horde combo is a light attack followed by a heavy heavy attack its single Target combo is either a heavy attack followed by a punch or just heavy attack spam they're pretty equal in terms of damage but the lad allows you to control lesser units
