Your friend has a lot of talent, and clearly put a ton of work and care into this. Much respect.
The moment I saw 0:52 I burst out laughing, haha! It was so ridiculous, I love it. I had to pause the video.
Nice, it's clear a lot of time and effort went into this, there are a lot of frames of animation, not a lot of still-frame stalling or anim re-use, and that's really cool. The vibrant colors and backgrounds are quite well done, too.
The actual animations themselves could be improved though. Most movements seem incredibly stiff, such as the walk cycles and jumping around, not a whole lot of fluidity there. Another area of improvement (to a lesser extent than the first one) is frisk's face shape and expressions in some frames. They seem kinda off a bit. Sans, gaster blasters, and pretty much everything else was quite good though.
I also liked how it portrayed that feeling of "Yeah! I finally... beat him......"
Overall, pretty good, and I hope to see more from him in the future!
