[953] Drilled in 30 Seconds: Proven Industries Puck Lock

this is the lock-picking lawyer and a few days ago in video number 951 i featured the proven industry's redesigned puck lock and in that video I expressed my concern that the redesign introduced a drilling vulnerability well that's what we're going to explore today my theory is that if we drill straight through the face of this lock we'll be able to access the spring-loaded locking lug that holds the shackle closed it's the same thing I did to this warlock in video number 905 except rather than the difficult to drill hardened steel on the warlock this is made of 303 stainless steel which is actually formulated to be easy to machine and drill so let's head down to the garage and see how my theory holds up okay folks we are back upstairs and as you saw it took less than 30 seconds of a relatively unskilled attack to remove this lock drilling the 303 stainless was very easy as I anticipated and once the hole is there opening the lock is a simple matter of pushing down on the locking lug which releases the core so while I have said in a past video that I am a fan of this company's trailer lock until they start offering a more robust option I'd consider looking elsewhere for a puck lock to secure it in any case that's all I have for you today if you do have any questions or comments about this please put them below if you like this video and would like to see more like it please subscribe and as always have a nice day thank you
