have second thoughts he ever say you know like today i just feel like i should be playing no no i don't regret my decision at all i think it's the appropriate one or else no one else to have an mvp six-time finals mvp six-time nba champion is the undisputed goat and has a lot i mean a lot of moments where he embarrassed others anyways guys here is nine times michael jordan humiliated his opponent when michael jordan retired for the second time after the second repeat the bulls drafted corey benjamin with the 28th pick and he was going around telling everybody that he could easily beat the now 36 year old mj one on one corey didn't think michael would ever hear about him saying that but mj heard it and one day showed up to the bulls practice michael didn't waste any time and instantly told corey check ball everybody else knew what was about to happen and just stood by and watched what's [Music] come on look around you man thought huh this wasn't the only time where our retired michael humiliated someone you know i'm playing in my uh my camp against o.j mayo he was a top high school kid coming out and i didn't i never met him first time in front of my camp he starts this thing about uh you can't guard me you can't do this you know i got my campus here so i obviously i can't really go where i want to go because of my camp so i stop the camp send the kids to bed we go back to playing and he starts his whole thing you know that you can't guard me you can't do this so from this point on it's a lesson and from that point on it was a lesson he never won a game i post him up i did everything if i can ever show you that film if you can ever ask him that ask him about the thing that happened [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay you know he's backing me down guard him that's all he needed to end him and the utah jazz yeah brian russell when i was playing baseball utah's in town to play the bulls and this kid brian russell comes up to me and said man why you quit why you quit now you knew i could guard your ass i couldn't you had to quit i said carl you need to talk to this dude man but from that point on he's been on my list 17 seconds from game seven or from championship number six michael against russell 12 seconds 11 10. jordan to drive hangs fires stars as we know from the documentary i don't think there ever was a moment where mj wasn't taking it personal says we're the two best in the game but i'm not getting into a war of words with mike clyde was a threat you know i'm not saying he wasn't a threat but me being compared to him i took offense to that and then here come the second the third [Applause] i'm killing this dude you know the bradford smith story has anybody told you that this was back in 93. this night is the bradford smiths night bradford smith left wing drains bradford smith came off the screen from 16 [Applause] michael hits him on the body and he nails it smith radford smith scores 37 points against michael jordan he said that the bradford smith walking out of the gym had said nice game mike and you knew that this wasn't going to go down well the next night they play in washington we played him on a back to back i never get it so we're flying to washington he said tomorrow in the first half i'm gonna have what this kid had in the game i never seen a man go after another player the way he did jordan scores 36 in the first half he's concentrating almost solely on the bradford he took such umbrage and a guy saying nice game mike that he torched and humiliated him i knew that jerry krause loved dan martin and just because krauss liked him was enough for me you think he's a great defensive player okay fine i'm assure you that he's not spends away he'll kick it all the way to the basket i put it in my mindset that if i don't do this then they're gonna consider him on the same level as me and that motivated me to attack michael has 29. [Applause] jordan there's the penetration five seconds to shoot [Applause] that sounded like a countdown for a launch michael beats him on the dribble we have another tie game who do you think's going to take this shot michael jordan do you think so the flu game it was game 5 of the 1997 nba finals and mysteriously the night before the game five guys arrive at michael's hotel room to deliver his pizza and already everybody was suspicious but they ate it anyway cause who's not gonna eat a delicious pizza next day michael was horribly sick and everybody in the world knew it i'm sure the utah jazz were happy that they might be able to just cruise through this game if michael doesn't play but michael he took her personally against his sickness and did this to the utah jazz [Music] [Applause] he dropped 38 points seven rebounds and five assists to take a 3-2 lead in the series to do that while having flu-like symptoms just shows why he's recorded as the best basketball player ever to make matters worse in game six he hit that game winner over by and russell to finish him off but michael ended the hopes and dreams of a lot of [Applause] [Music] michael teams saves the day the bulls offense down in the mud the entire fourth quarter [Applause] [Music] michael jordan jordan for the win yes top of the key moves up at the buzzer he did it again [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] george with two seconds [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that's the video for today i hope you all enjoyed and as always i'm handles until next time [Music] everybody wants to be like mike good luck [Music] you
