sharing where to find them how to style them and the best part is they are so affordable some of these pieces are from my own personal collection and some of them i just really love and i want to share that with you guys i know trying to find a home decor is a very overwhelming task you don't know if the quality is good where to look what to look for so i got you covered and i'm gonna tell you why i love home decor so much it's because you know when you think about fashion and you're putting together your outfit and before you leave the house you want to put on your watch your jewelry your earrings the necklace the belt it's kind of like the finishing touch to an outfit and i think of home decor as accessories for your home it's kind of like kind of like jewelry for your home right makes your home feel more like you home decor is what takes your style to the next level so i'm so excited to be sharing this list with you today so let's go ahead and get right into the video so my first must-have decor item is a lamp and you're probably thinking this isn't exactly a home decor item and you're right and i feel like that's why most people overlook this piece a good lamb can take your room your bedroom to the next level and because this item is so overlooked most people will just go to lambs plus and get any lamp and be done with it right but no we need to find the most beautiful lamps and this is one of my favorites because it's so affordable it's actually from target this is one of my favorite pieces because it helps to frame out my console table in my bedroom and not only is it functional because it gives us that beautiful light it's also very versatile you can move it around in different places in your home depending on your mood now if a modern lamp is not your vibe i love this one from pottery barn it has kind of a rustic vintage vessel vibe and although this one's a little pricey it is stunning it's so large and scale is very important when it comes to your lamps and again because you can move these pieces around you can style it in so many different ways whether it be on your nightstand a console table or maybe even in your living room so if you small little vintage vessel could be like 150 and who has time for that it is massive look at it compared to the size of my head she is huge and for the price i feel like this is the best the best vintage style vessel that i have found online now if you don't like vintage modern vessels are also very beautiful this one is from h m every time i share this on my stories you guys sell it out and one that i'm going to share with you is this one right here it is the most the most beautiful jute runner i have it in my kitchen and if you've been following me for a while you know exactly what i'm about to do with this rug gotta okay wow that was so much fun and this is the perfect time to thank you guys so much because we are 50 000 strong here on youtube and if you are brand new so happy to have you here and thank you so much i had to take a break because i was getting i was getting hot i had to share that jute rug with you guys because jew is one of those materials that is so versatile and it will match any home design style especially that rug and what's great is it's still available on amazon and it is just chef's kiss there are so many different kinds and styles but my personal favorite of course would have to be anything that's jute i also have a stunning vintage turkish rug that's from the 60s i actually sourced it online it came straight from turkey and it was so affordable compared to if you were to buy it here in the states you know so of course i'm gonna link all of those sources down below i just got this brand new hand knotted rug here in the studio and anything that is hand knotted is the best of the best quality rugs are just like art to me it really helps to frame a space and it adds so much personality to any home that is why it's on this hand woven quality of this piece and you're gonna die when i tell you that i got this from target it's 50 by 70 so it's really really big and the color is just perfect it's kind of a neutral beige tone and you can do so much with a throw blanket you can drape it over your couch you can drape it over your chair to give it that cozy and layered vibe you can even have it draped over on your bed and i feel like the commonality of all the pieces that i'm sharing with you today is that they are all so versatile and you can move them around the house to give it that finishing touch and to elevate your spaces and a throw blanket can do just that oh now i'm dusty i'm looking dusty you guys looking dusty okay the next must-have home decor item would be a pair of great ottomans and notice how i said a pair because i will tell you why this one in particular is actually from the target studio mcgee collab and let me just put her down oh my when you're buying ottomans you want to make sure that you get a pair because you want to be able to use it in different spots of your home right now i have this styled underneath a console table in my bedroom and it gives off that beautiful layered effect but you can also use this in your living room as additional seating maybe next to a fireplace you could even use it as a bench in a little corner or entryway moment or you can even have the two in front of your bed how cute would that be oh it's there's so much possibilities with a good ottoman the next must-have home decor item is a statement mirror and i'm not talking about any old mirror you don't want to go for anything plain or simple you want a statement piece and actually let me bring you to one of my favorite ones that i have here right behind me one second now this mirror is one of my favorites excuse the mess in the background that is what happens when you film a youtube video but this statement mirror was actually from home goods and it looks like it could have came from our house or anthropology look at that detail that mirror is one of my favorite finds and i actually found one on amazon that's so similar actually it's more of a restoration hardware dupe and the best part it doesn't have the restoration hardware price tag another mirror that i have here in my home is from zara it's in my bedroom it's kind of an irregular shaped rounded mirror and notice that these pieces are eye-catching and they're so stylish they're not plain jane and these mirrors will not only open up any room bounce light back and forth really beautifully but it's sure to imbue so much style in your home it's also a great way to do your last looks before you leave the house when you have a beautiful stylish mirror my next must-have home decor item is a beautiful train this one is massive let's take a look in comparison to my head she's big and i actually got this on ebay you guys don't sleep on ebay it's a pottery barn tray and i think i paid around 80 but i'm sure this piece was like 200 when it was in stores i use this to display my crystals my candles you name it a good tray will go a long way because it helps to just get rid of the clutter in your space another one that i have is this one it's a footed tray from amazon i think this is already sold out but i have a couple of other favorites linked for you and again this is a good piece to have on your table on your vanity to hold perfumes decorative pieces and it helps to eliminate that clutter that you may have i am obsessed with anything that has feet because that elevation will give depth and dimension to any table or vanity situation oh kind of like trays a good bowl is essential for any home because you can display fruits in my case i displayed some beautiful geodes i love this um andrew actually came up with this idea so i got to give him credit but i've never seen anyone else do a geode bowl so how beautiful is that my next must-have home decor item is a stylish basket now this one is from crate barrel it's so sculptural which is why i love it so much now the baskets are great because it helps to hide and eliminate any clutter that you may have in your home you can store toys in here if you're a parent you can have blankets and throws actually i have blankets in here right now can we see that how cute is that just displayed and in your living room i mean i can even see this basket with a beautiful faux olive tree or any sort of tree now if you don't like the black they also have it in a more natural variation i also have this basket here from amazon again great as a planter i love the shape it's so sculptural and something different you know so when you're picking out your decorative baskets make sure you go for something sculptural maybe something irregular it's
