hey guys micah outdoor living guy coming to you from our fifth in the five part series on outdoor living decor tonight we're talking about outdoor fire features and of course we all want a fire feature in our outdoor living space it's what i recommend no matter what especially a fire pit there's so much bang for the buck and i would very strongly recommend one if you don't have one but if you're watching this you probably already have one and you want to figure out how to add to it and that's what we're going to be talking about today is the the decor around a fire pit we have tons of stuff to show you right now we have tons of things to show you around a fire feature because there's more fire features than just fire pits so here we go we're going to show you all about them right now [Music] oh hi guys kim again stylist for paradise restored you know i've been finding decor pieces for fire pits and for in front of fireplaces for over a decade so when micah says fire features i got to thinking we have over 150 properties in our portfolio and the majority of them have fire features we hate to bore you with too much or too many so i settled on fire pits and great balls of fire it's a whole lot of memories going on today we're going to feature fire pit decor and i remember every one of these as if it was just yesterday in this rustic style property fur blankets were thrown over each chair mr stalker raised his eyebrows like oh brother until he sat down and decided he loved it everything's mid-century modern in the stevenson backyard this concrete fire pit has simple chairs with clean lines to match it gorgeous don't you think and the schmitz chose this morton still fire pit with concrete and custom wood seat walls it matches the lower level fireplace perfectly let's take a stroll down fire pit lane to see mini pits with the decor choices matching the homeowner's style notice the built-in concrete or custom wood seat walls they are two-fold number one you save space and number two you create plenty of seats now some are built with seat backs too in some yards extra seats are wrapped around the pit you can add stools chairs couches and they will all be used your guests will gather around the fire pit under the stars for hours okay guys remember how i said not too many are too much well i'm gonna have to take that back this video is to show off fire pits and the decor around them how else can you get good ideas for your own backyard so off we go on a little fire pit [Music] montage [Music] [Music] hello [Music] join us [Music] baby [Music] showing off our new 2020 fire pits and decor we'll start with an all turf yard with the fire pit the edwards family loves the turf for their two dogs and themselves and they love the outdoor living space around the fire pit now they can hop in and out of the spa grab a s'more stick and enjoy and we love the boaz roomy fire pit built under the bar this was our first reveal of the season so many seats for friends and family around the fire pit cozy seat backs on the seat wall loads of cushy pillows even the guests at the bar can enjoy the fire too and we just finished this property with a little fire pit in the corner it has an l shape with a seat back seat wall now the dining table bench can be moved over in front of the fire pit if they have a large number of guests but the johnsons are just as happy enjoying the fire pit all by themselves how can you go wrong with this modern take the huffner family love minimalist meets traditional in this gas fire pit with seat wall and fire pit stools too it makes a fun destination away from the flow of the outdoor living room pretty cool design eh in fact it's fabulous [Music] we'll wrap it up with this oldie but goody fire pit we've added new fire pit chairs and now it's attracting a crowd well thanks for joining us the fire pit is the highlight of a landscape as you can see stand around it and chat eat your barbecue with the help of a few pets or enjoy a retirement cake with friends it's a more the merrier circle of memory making with good friends and family happy summer to all hey guys so i hope you enjoyed that part on fire feature decor i love a fire feature i love being around it there's so many ways to make them even more cozy and more inviting but really a fire feature is inviting itself so we thank you very much for watching this little series that we had on outdoor decor we hope that it's been beneficial for you and that you've learned a lot from that if you have any questions or need anything we want to help we don't care if you hire us we just want to help you and we want to get you outside enjoying your outdoor space especially adding decor to it it's a critical element that many people don't realize the importance of but i hope that we've educated you enough in this video all right guys thank you so much again for watching don't forget to subscribe don't forget to like and we'll talk to you soon [Music] you
