this is the this is the this is the Gateway to everything right okay I was tell my brother's the first thing you'll do is go take off yeah I was a flood but these are cap says I pull this cover off I'm gonna go underneath the basket and I'm gonna see what's happening and if you got any kind of debris or whatever then we need to pull the pan for sure we're gonna pull pin anyway but anyway so you're going to pull the pan pull this out and a lot of times these have the like the fiber plates and they have steel plates there every other one I I've seen a lot of these where the fiber plates will disintegrate come apart inside the motorcycle some of our videos you built see that but I mean I think you got I think that this is my style right here I prefer these over thyristor boots don't tell him by that because we make money good right I mean the the wife you got your hand that was the best one we ever did that was the best thing he ever did he had the stock seat you got a nice stock seat you know this is the one this is a real z1 seat get their stock paint we can fix that up you'd be surprised how nice these covers are gonna come out I probably would want the rack but if you want the rack we can I don't know what the rack I'll give it back to you we're done with it you're not we can't fix this right I say we try to find a really really really really nice parts good news parts for it if not we'd have to get new ones but the new parts aren't the same as the old perve sir different manufacturers even though they're sold by the manufacturer so I think the front fender is a lot nicer than you think because that grease saved it yep the lower legs the stuff are aluminum so it's all good your hubcaps nice you know probably put us at spokes in it will go through the rims get you the right date coated good used rims make it nice or we have other rims that are made by D ID but they're made in Indonesia I think it is trying to stay all regionally no like that bike right there and you'll be we got a video this bike and talk about it sure I've started but go ahead okay look tell us so we wouldn't oh you get out of there we need the we need to know the whole history this motorcycle which is gonna ask you these questions so how did you how did you come across this motorcycle it's been in my family it's my dad's motorcycle so it's been around as long as I've been at UK does he have any nicknames for it and is there is there a name for this motorcycle what do you guys call this I don't know we got to give it a nickname he called a mud dauber because all the mud mud dauber that's excellent my diver we're called my diver did you kid I'm sure he did but I don't I remember my grandpa will have it last he laid it over in the gravel gently but that was the last time I remember it okay well it looks like we got a good one like I was saying earlier we got some goop on the inside and for everybody out there to want to know this is why we don't line the tanks because sometimes the lining comes off but we'll get it out you may call this Hardware here we've got the original key fob right here that's original mileage fifteen thousand and this is early seventy-four because maiden 11 273 and you got all the 73 controls on it 73 carburetors for the main jet access 73 style head nuts that are straight down a lot of similarities this is the first year for the decal on the back for the for the wear bar 74 was the first year that it's got the small chain adjusters right here those are early legs II like 73 z1 so we're gonna try to fix this up with the original date coated rims put some good parts on actually up the paint make a nice everyday rider out of it and see where we go with it okay this is our 74 z1 we're calling this mutt diaper I brought to us we're going to we're gonna do a pretty nice restoration I don't know how far we're going to go but we're going to look into it we try to get it running so our point is we're going to try to get it inside so we can move it around and get to it but as you can see the word reels locked up well now look T move it now so what we're gonna do we're gonna see we can do here at least get some rubber on it so we can move it around pretty good restorable bike we're gonna use a best 100 and clean it up real good we're gonna look it over pretty good kind of see where we're at with it I kind of liked to do a like a moderate restoration with even though we're gonna try to maintain the original paint we can so the flat tire on the front but everything else is we're gonna probably take off the windshield and their luggage racks didn't move around with hurt about hurting ourselves but uh it might really NT bad so really just throw some rubber on it to get to move around a little bit and I'm gonna start gathering up some stuff for it and start to get started on as soon as we can here but I'll know not if not a bad piece I believe this is original owner 15,000 original miles original grips if you come behind a winch should we can see some nest right here got few nut rusty nuts and bolts here and there but oh no we're looking pretty good what's this stuff it's bad on it we'd replace anyway so I'm gonna show you what looks like it tomorrow we're going to clean it up with s 100 and some SOS pads a little bit they can look good we're gonna throw a set of skins on it so we can at least move it around easy and we'll kind of go from there and we're looking forward to this project we believe this is going to be a third generation motorcycle for the family and I'm going to fix it up so the grandfather can drive it back and forth to work want to have your little baste I've got some good time left so uh we're gonna really do this one nice and I believe this will be a nice project and we've got a couple we've got a couple of families going together to uh just put this together for him so this is gonna be a nice surprise and we're looking forward to it okay thanks so what we're gonna do just so we can work on the bike a little bit I'm gonna put some tires on it or something just to get it to roll around but what I want to do now is I want to show you all these nests and everything underneath here this is what's different that's cool though I like that so we're going to do we're going to take this luggage rack off unfortunately I think it's been rubbing on the fender we'll find out after we take it off we're gonna pull this off or pull the wish shield off just for our own safety reasons because we don't stuff up so we give it a nice bath with us one hundred today here and then we're going to show so outlooks and then we're gonna we're gonna come up with a set of tires for it or we put some different wheels on it or something and just so we can move it around and then now we'll go from there but just that's it's neat to show you this process I tried the mud dauber a little bit here we're gonna got the windshield off and stuff slip easier for us now we're going to clean it up a little bit and get some tires underneath it so we can move it around so we're gonna spray this one on it all over it everything should get us 100 I think this grease may have saved it a little bit so we're gonna clean up these rims real nice I'm gonna do that paint the s100 it's safe for everything I don't fight drink it or not but everything else is pretty cool so we're gonna spray it all over everything and then my next plan is we're gonna get a little bit of a SOS and water and everything that's not painted like the aluminum and stuff we're going to clean it up a little bit with that so we're gonna get this done and we're gonna power wash it and then uh I'm gonna take it inside and we're gonna put a set of wheels on it looking better already I can tell you that I don't the bike is kind of bad but I don't see it I don't think it's as bad as we think so we're gonna what we're gonna do here is we're gonna spray down with this that's 100 and just see how it is well I'm out of s 100 now so what I like is I've got this bottle here but also inside I got a big bottle so if you're gonna use this a lot I would buy the big bottle okay okay this is the 105 meter it's probably more economical if you're gonna do a lot of stuff to get the big bottle like this okay Seth we got the bike apart as we talked about we're just gonna try to get it running and make you go down a road on its own power and see where we're at now I got this I think what we'll do is we'll put a tire on it this tires dry rodded plus it's way too wide um and let's see if you can see this is just like absolutely nothing sort and a but the brake drum was a lot better than I expected we're gonna stand this up a little bit the bearings are moving on this side bearings moving on that side spokes are kind of funky so I'm put a set of tires on it so we can make it roll and do what it's supposed to do and then we'll get the motor running and see where we're at with it but I just kind of want to show you that right now so far the your brake drum is cool and then what we're gonna do here is also this is an asset now someone's been in here cutting this with us hacksaw blade or something I'm not sure if it was squeaking or whatever but anyway we're gonna make sure that this cam is free so we're gonna put it all together and just make sure it's going now as soon what the Vilas I would say you need a reverse sprocket badly horribly badly you need one so I'll come up with a good use one for now just so we can drive around a little bit see what's happening but let's uh well kind of get her going and so you test drive it and stuff and then we'll talk some more but I just want to show you where we're at with that because we just wanted the main thing was just to make it move however you've got something else going on here with that we're pretty locked up here so we'll try to break this loose a little bit see what's happening and then um we'll go from there okay so we've got the rear tire off if you come here you can see the drum so we got this good enough for some nice test driving and stuff the drum came up really great I'm so I'm shocked now the rim also doesn't this is nice I'm moving of course we've been sanding on it and cleaning it you know so they're gonna work but you got if you look right here you got a few marks where someone changed a tire a long time ago and rusted I think what we're gonna do we're gonna make this bike run and go up down the driveway and we'll talk about it i I think you you could make a really decent unrestored piece out of this and I'm really surprised that the drum turned out as nice as it did at the surface I would have bet money it didn't turn out this nice so uh things are looking good so I'm gonna put a set of tires on it obviously a new rim band right here in a new tube I'm gonna throw a girl tire out in the but you don't you'll need that I'm sure so anyway I'm going to put the correct tire blogs on it and then we'll try to clean this room up a little bit more I think this is salvageable and once we get going we could always change the spokes out if you so desire but let's make a runner out of it and then we can do stuff at increments as as you okay we'll get going on here now is this brick ham is seized up right here won't move so we have to do a little bit of heating and treating and all this and all that but I think we can run these pads or shoes whatever as is and then we'll take this and uh get her moving I probably come up with a better arrow than you have so let's uh this we're gonna straighten this out I'll get this all lubricated so that moves the way it's supposed to and stuff and we'll see how it works okay all right got the Ruby off this and we wanted to check the front sprocket to make sure it was good the rear sprocket we had to replace it's we feel it's cupped a little bit but got more friends in here so I just wanted to show you some of your friends before we take this off and do anything with it so anyway we as we were talking earlier this is the automatic chain oiler for your bike which is connected to the tank nice piece to have and also this is the stock front sprocket got cover I guess you'd call right here this piece right here this is getting kind of hard to find so what we're gonna do is I'll pull us all out and get rid of the critters and stuff in here and then we're gonna make it so if we move under its own power and whatever okay just I'd show you what we're up against and also whatever things I I'm starting to come up with some stuff I got a if you look at the condition of this brake rod compared to your brake rod this is a little bit better then this is replated and I'm gonna get you one of these new arrows here because this is kind of gooned this is Chrome I'll never be fixed but where we're at here is we're having difficulties getting this nut off here so you might just have to I don't want to go get it I mean we're gonna get it off but it's just an issue and then we'll clean this up the best we can with uh with SOS and see what it looks like when we're done but I just want to kind of show you the difference and stuff and obviously we're gonna replace this while we're here and we're gonna I've got these chain blocks right here that go in here this bolt goes this goes here and this bolt goes right there so we're gonna make that all nice and pretty for you and we're gonna kind of clean we're gonna clean some stuff up here for you and also I don't have any of these adjusters and this is really really heavily pitted and he talked earlier about this is like an early style so what I have is I have that style but it takes the big bolt it won't mean anything but anyway we'll we're gonna exchange these here so you can have the big bolt and we'll make sure the spacing Irving is right but the later ones had the washers on the outside that these had ones on the inside but you can see the gap is different so I would mean this is not much if worst comes to worst Kawasaki had two different size spacers that went on the side of the axle which is this right here someone was a little thicker I was not so thick so we'll one way or another I'm gonna make sure it's that everything is perfect but I just kind of wanted to show you what we're doing and we're pretty conscientious about what we do so I just want to show you the details that we're going through while we're doing what we're doing so we put a chain on it this change really clapped out from sitting and obviously the this is what the sprocket is gonna look like here thirty five tooth I've got these kits that we make here so we're gonna put that on and I've got these replated what you're gonna do that we're gonna put this in a sink and get the majority of the grime off and make it look good for you then um then if you decide someday to do the full restoration that's end up gonna be an option too but I'm gonna get you something a good use one it's better than this and we're gonna exchange the bunch of stuff out now we're gonna put these rim locks back on these are there's a real pain in the behind to do but we're gonna do it anyway because that's how they came now these are replated here so if you come to this side of the bike again we had to take the foot peg off the other bike or if the other side of the bike to give this bracket so we're gonna put this stuff this is genuine replated so let's see the difference here I think that I think it's gonna be a good choice okay we got some more things happening here we we replaced a front sprocket and right here the center sprocket cover this is busted out right here and it's it's not a really good thing we should fix this also we noticed that one of the reasons why the sprockets were out was because someone had put an industrial-sized chain on it wasn't a standard 630 so anyway this is kind of gooned in here is getting ready to go right here so we're gonna replace this cover right here and the gasket so I thought would just show you how what we're doing here are originally we're just intending on putting tires on today just we move around but once you start you can't stop so anyway here's where we're at we did greased everything so you can see what's going on so uh I just thought I'd show you that and thought you might like it okay I want to show you just some of the details since we got a little break in the action here today these are your foot peg brackets right here and they're kind of they're still nice but they're they need attention so I've got powder coated ones in stock that I use for the restorations all the time so here's your difference here so we're replacing these with genuine powder coated ones I got the other one right here somewhere and then here are the pins here's the washer that goes between the bracket and the footrest so I have these replated then here's the pin that goes in here like so I'll just show you in here so you can see where we're going to be with it so I have these also replayed it so we're gonna replace these we're gonna paint the inside of these and make this nice so here's a these are a little on the small side okay so here's the washers that we're gonna put on they're used but they're replated there's nothing like genuine stuff and we're gonna paint these up and of course the rubbers that go through right here at jaegers are all gooned out to replace all that now take a look at your bike here or making a little progress now one thing I got to do is this well the sticker fell off this is goes on your oil tank we're gonna put that back on but just not today that's cool okay so we've got some really really good use shock springs I think those would look a little better they're not perfect but they're much much better so we're going to take your shocks apart we're gonna put these on okay now I put I put a grab bar on here cleaned up the paint paint some things I'll maybe a little more cleanup but with at least we have it on there so what we're gonna do is just starting at their rear i'm Brasstown you once you start you can't stop so here's all this we're gonna put your chain guard back on everything the I don't know where you want to go this is these are the original spokes however if you want to change the spokes Tsun Tsun tell me because everything is loose everything is clean it'll all come apart like that so it's gonna be pretty easy to fix this I've got your rubber from your other offender we're going to put in here also this is a good use fender that I had it's not perfect but boy this is like I was Twitter talking earlier this is gonna be a nice unrestored writer we cleaned up your signals there's a little bit of pitting on them and stuff but this as we were talking this this looks like a nice solid bike from the 70s I mean it is what it is we cleaned all this up this is nice this is all nice in here this is all replated stuff we've got the rear fender on it all hooked up ready to go I'm gonna put another plated one of these in here and we have not done much from here forward and we put new air cleaner in it cuz we had one laying around but uh we're gonna do the back half there we're going to turn around and do the front half and then helo is going to go through the carburetors and a motor or make sharing is good but we're gonna we're cleaning it up but it's a process but if you're interested in doing the wheels let me know soon this is all pretty good this is a new bolts here you're gonna make shocked so we're going to clean all this up on that apart anyway and we're going to put new replated stuff on here and we'll clean all this up and I'll try to come up with some rubber so I hope you like what you see so far look it's looking really detailed I mean we haven't gotten up here but you can see the hook the spring you know and then we'll have the foot rest on here is the bracket there are the proper 8 just for example I just kind of want to show you what you had oh you know I've been out of course but we can redo paint we can redo plating but we can't redo chrome and this would have been been anyway but I mean just look how nice nice used parts that we recondition our hold the clutch out see how it is check underneath the basket it doesn't seem like it's that bad I mean definitely gonna new well is gonna be good but I don't feel anything funky going on there so I think we're gonna be all right here I'm not sure what kind of what was in here I looks like it's got a heavier springs in stock I don't know why but uh I think maybe we'll we're gonna go through the plates and clean them up see how they look they look okay ish like you can tell they were stuck see the lines on them so they're all stuck together and we're gonna look into these and measure them up a little bit so they look they look like they're borderline so uh let you know on that so we're gonna start to clean all this up a little bit before we do the run I've got different wheel on the back now just for the time being so what we've done is we've got these wheels on there just dummy wheels we're gonna get the new spokes on your wheels on Monday and we'll get it start put together we're gonna start going through the chassis some more and then we'll get to the motor so already looking pretty good so far we're gonna have to get all the junk out tank we set the tank on here now so it doesn't get scratched any more than it is so uh but like I said the oil that's on my hands it's not really the end of the world so I think we're gonna be okay we've got this we got your and this is a little goon I call that gooned so we got your oil paint nuts or a plug out so uh make us more progress these are the rims here that we're gonna use that these are yours so rims are cleaned up pretty good I think we're gonna run those clean up these wheels I think well leave these as is that's original paint on them and you still got these plastic whole caps right here except my little finger set right here that's a hard part to find so we're gonna hang grit and get bread off leaving this alone probably change the bearings and stuff probably clean this up just a little bit this we decreased it really good and we're gonna probably clean it up just a little bit and we'll run this as is you got a really nice break surface here so everything feels pretty good here and you know of course there's your rim locks and stuff so all in all we're looking pretty good I'll probably try to come up with a better one of these this is kind of smashed this is your hubcap right here so we'll try to get you a better one of those and then of course hole we're gonna replace a bunch of the bolts and everything and it'll get to the motor now if you look in over here this is we put all the new screws and stuff in here so this is starting to come alive I've got some better had nuts here for it so we're gonna change those up for you that look a lot better we're gonna probably for sure change the fuel valve B because this you know your leavers busted off and this is seized up and this'll will never get this to work right again I'm sure of that get some work progress here some good things to show you some bad things to show you first of all put your seat on it however cuz we're almost done with the back brother chassis but I noticed that on the side here that the pans are rusted out here and the cover is not I mean it covers gooned it's ripped and stuff here and the foam is gonna like you know you can see right here the foam is gonna be taking a dump all over the bike eventually so what we got going on here is the reason that this happened is because it probably had it sitting on its side and you can see when we're doing this you watch the garbage come on the ground and stuff here I guess we've read up a little bit wait wait you can see what's happening here this isn't it's not really good anymore so I have let you trade that in on this one if you want this is an absolute perfect pan I had the pan powder-coated it's new phone and also we have a seat cover it's a reproduction seat cover its reproduction foam however it it is it is what it is it's a genuine pan this is definitely the way that I would go I they do make a reproduction seats but they're but they're not like this but anyway this is my suggestion and I have these I'll take these on exchange I have these powder coated see these have number two on the hinge right here so I'm gonna exchange these for you I've got this also replated and I'm gonna try to salvage the rubber side of here to put on here so we don't have to buy nothing also this pin here we're gonna have to we're going to pull the hinge probably to get this pin out of here anyway I make these these pins I I can't handle people putting bolts in them or allen wrenches or wrong stuff we make these things here we Sumner shop this is dead nuts on here these uh these pins however the the clips here are a little bit on the small side but they're very very functional so this will be this is the way to go here now here's your rear rim now I wanted to leave this with the early patina here so what we got going on this rims nice this is a really yes as your rim we cleaned it up and those are Buchanan stainless spokes so this is done we're gonna put this on and sell nice we have all this and everything and we purposely didn't polish this out this is this is gonna be pretty cool then your drum is pretty nice we're gonna clean this up a little bit more but this is this is called cool so and then we're going to put a Continental Tire on it which is a period-correct tire and then I have the front tire here now what had happened was we thought your front room was good but after we got it on the bike or on the rim lace up the spokes it still had a slight pop and the hop was actually in the area where they welded the rim together so anyway I didn't like I've made a decision here we got you a really nice used room here this is a Takasago Rim which is a genuine company and this will this will do just fine so this is you got all nice matching stuff here so you're ready to rock here we've got your exhaust holders cleaned up a little bit this is this is pretty cool got your different starter cover we've still got to glue the sticker back on here that fell off we're gonna do that for you but just you got that I'm gonna change this out here but see how we redid your footrest got a replated pin clean this up this is all nice replated stuff here we're replated screws and stuff we didn't disturb the patina here motor mount bolts replated so we don't know what my plan is is I'm going to try to clean up the chain guard the best I can you got some rubs and stuff here but that's not the end of the world and this is excuse me this is actually nice nothing wrong with this chain guard look scratches but I mean this is nice we're gonna clean this up and then I'll get you some replated stuff to go here now I'm going to I'm trying to get you some nice stuff here what it's replated they do make these in China or we're gonna try to steer away from that if possible well we are steering away from that so um I'm gonna get you you know replated Walker here we're have this all replated I've got the stuff in stock I may have trouble here this is early 74 this was chromed I'm gonna look into that for you but believe me the rear pegs are gonna stick out like a sore thumb if you don't make them uniform to the bike so we're gonna address this but we do have the shocks on and stop with their with the springs everything I think it's looking pretty good myself the next thing that we're gonna do is we're gonna try to finish the bike from here back you know with a chain guard and read put your rim back on it and everything then we're going to try to move to the front end here and then we're going to do that mover but I think this is all gonna be pretty good takes a long time to detail these out the way they are so we're going to replace this bar I was on the fence I'm trying to keep it but I think we need to replace that just as we replaced this pointer here with a a good used one years was all gooned so we put a good used once is a lot of good used parts on this bike so we're gonna clean this up get a different bar we're gonna look into this Center stand a little bit clean it up a little bit one of the next thing I want to talk to you about is I hope you like all the screws and stuff we're putting in the majority and the screws are genuine screws have been replated they're just super nice so we had to cover off we went through the plates I think the plates are good enough to run the bike we haven't ridden the bike yet obviously but the plates are good enough from my opinion so we've not only we put in our gasket here we also put in another I call it a window some people call it a gauge so this is we're gonna put your oil in so you'll build to see how much you have obviously you have a line there's two lines here so when you go to check the oil on it you want to have the bike up straight and then see where you're at with these levels here hi this is the mud dauber bike for Johnny likes to call the mud dauber bike it's the 74 z1 anyway we got the meter covers off and we find this enormous amount of mud from the mud dobbers but we really want to show you what's the bezel looks like it's been removed at one point you can see where the trim has been reprinted no big deal it looks like a nice set of gauges nothing really wrong we need to clean them up and we're gonna replace the cover it's these nice covers big difference anyway that's all we want to show you keep you informed thanks for watching bye bye a couple of questions I have for you I'll start at the gauges we put these powder-coated black ones on there these are genuine and they play the part and they match this however there's not much we can really do with this besides strip it and everything to keep it black now we do have reproduction chrome covers that we can talk to you about and we can get a chrome bottom and a chrome top they're really not expensive at all so that would just talk to you about that and now let's go to the bottom of course got a tire on it the got stainless spokes we did put a use Takasago front rim on it because the rim that was on it once it got chewed up it was just too far out so we changed that over it was close but we didn't want to let it go like that so then we got you another front brake rotor these are genuine Kawasaki replated this is the locks we got you a set of brushed polished lower legs for it this is pretty cool this is a new old stock washer with seal behind it for the fluid we change the seals over got you some better stuff here got you some better fork tubes got you a better headlamp ears got you better lower is here triple clamp here is powder coated with the bolts that we make we're just started on the top so we got the handlebars on just to dummy it up here a little bit and we see it they're bent so we're gonna have to get inner set of bars we have those in stock we're gonna clean all this up for you and we're going to do the best we can to save your original grips for that motorcycle and then here's our bolt here that we make for the steering stem the bolt going across these are new taper Tim can stop bearings now on the neck I said of having those little balls you got new uh well this is replated dust shield the jam nuts replated and these are just something like just this few minutes ago here I was digging up some stuff now this is uh the the conditions your cable guides so what we've done here is you can see the difference this is a really good used one and this is your used your your used one and the same goes for over here oh actually I'm sorry this is new old stock genuine Kawasaki this is original part so I just want to show you some progress now this you can change your mind any time you want or whatever but let me know what you want to do about these meter covers I can either do the chrome and the chrome or leave this black and put Chrome on top but I don't have any like that in black you could think for someone to make though so anyway just wanted to show you where you were I think the gauges are gonna be okay however we've not ridden a bike but this these gauges like this adds a nice patina to the finish I really like this and I you know this is original here and this is all original here I like this setup they're gonna have the original paint and stuff so we've done some stuff to some stuff but not everything so we've not got the motor running yet but I just wanted to show you their progress that we're going with it so we're going to front-end rear and then we'll come to the motor but everything this is a nice nice motorcycle so I just want to keep in touch with you okay thanks okay this is our mud dauber special here we've got 15 miles on it I want it right it won't try to put at least another 50 to 75 miles on at least before we do anything with it so uh this is what it looks like nice unrestored bike grunts really good you've got you know the tires on it the spokes the fork seals bunch of stuff we put on it here and there and on and on and on retain the original grips put that nice seat on there it's at the point where this could probably be ridden for years as is or it's at the point where later in life we could restore it but it's good charged assistance good late-model fuel valve on it look nice and I'm going to go out try to ride it a little bit we got all that huge it's crazy low on a dirty site now but I'm gonna go out I've got 15 miles on now I'm gonna write it I'll try to put a hundred miles on it just to see where it's at but uh let's see if it runs okay I'm gonna start her up here motorist is little on a little warm so I'm not gonna give any choke [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I don't know [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] I have a question why do flat trackers always have to go powder clockwise [Music] the campus I'm thinkin anything Peter something good [Music] that's what you walk right nice [Music] Oh [Music] okay this is my take on the mud topper about 25 years ago we wouldn't have thought about fixing it because it was too far gone or it's a bunch of them out there you could buy but has a lot of sentimental attachment and we kept you know the original body parts on and everything we the only thing we've really changed major was the gas tank we had one laying around which is kind of blended here we had the exhaust laying around and lots of hardware the seat we came up with one of those because the seat was was rotted from the inside so it has an absolute perfect the seats just so nice and these are the pins that we make this is nice we got his registrations we got his manuals all that came with it the decals now that was about the only things that really you're not stock on the bike any longer is we did put a sealed battery in it see this is where the vent tube goes now that's all gone but I mean we don't want to put a battery it was a bent tube anything anymore we got a K&N filter on it we saw those canines here know that that's the ticket of course it's got the pingel fuel ball which I didn't turn off but I will so now that chain will or hooked up but it's got Chandler on it but we didn't hook it up because they're kind of messy but anyway except for the Kanan filter the Pingle fuel valve and then a seat and the pipes everything else is the way it's supposed to be as you can see all a lot of hardware got replated replaced we went through a lot of stuff on it so these are always my favorites to do I love the unrestored bikes like this and to me this is uh I like this is my favorite this is my favorite doesn't not going to win this show and in California for the most pristine thing or whatever but this is what I like we've got the original key fob on it I mean this is this is just this is totally cool the other thing was we put a reproduction master cylinder on it so this is like a 73 with the writing here 74 was smooth the decal but this was an early 74 because it's got the 73 parts on it and these original grips are just fantastic we make a bunch of this stuff here or we put some really good parts on it and I want to say this is one of my favorite ones that we've ever done it seems like I fall in love with all of them but this one is this one especially has a lot of meaning as the mud dauber and when it came with the family and dropped it off it was just a great thing but I'm sure that uh I'm sure that your dad is gonna fall in love with the mud dauber again and I'd love to see the fit some film of that so anyway thanks for bringing it to us this is what a live this is one of our favorite ones we did we're in love with a mud dauber okay next [Music] make motorcycles great again
