hi I'm Johnny from Johnny's vintage motorcycle I've really good customers his name is Ray he's the original owner on his motorcycle he bought this from Koons motorcycle in Belleville Ohio this is a 1974 I'm going to show you all kinds of documentation will blow your mind but on the title it shows that the motor number here which is perfect this is unrestored bike this is nice it's hard to find him like this and then it also shows the VIN number so he's got a little extras on here here and there he's got the steering dampener he's got a cooker a header on it and we have perfect almost perfect original clamp or up pipes for it to have the right lettering on it and everything good nice said Avon tires on it I just got the original seat rail for it so we're gonna discard this and we're gonna wear the Kirker header but as you can see he's got his 74 tag on it in Ohio they gave you a sticker in 75 to renew your 74 lets had a metal shortage or something going on looks like he's changed the rear sprocket at one time also we have got a little gas tank rubber here to hold the this but we're gonna put the original stuff back on us this is gonna be a pretty cool bike somewhere down the line you put Harley style chill evolved on it we're gonna replace that with a pingel just because that's what we do and we feel safe about tingles and all so we're kind of looking at some stuff now he does have the sealed battery in it there's no more vent tube this is the vent tube right here but we're no longer using that but it's there for because they're got the original toolkit for it we have the the document tray he may have the book I'll have to look here some of the tags that he's run through the years so we're gonna doctor this up today put a set of pipes on it and get it running and then we're gonna be offering on ebay we will be exercising a shipping option tub to a barber or vintage days but it'll have to be paid for right away before we do that now this is the earlier z1 you got the earlier switches you've got the earlier switch here the carburetors has the main jet access through the float Bowl so this is an earlier 74 z1 we're gonna make us nice nice nice today and we're going to we're gonna get fired up here it's from the Department of Defense Mansfield long airport and this bike was bought new in Belleville Ohio which is very close to Mansfield so uh we'll keep you posted we hope to have it done today super super super nice unrestored bike thanks for looking at our stuff okay we got some information here our photo album of the motorcycle looking Ray's so this is Ray years ago with his little VW and this is the bike when you put the backrest on it and all stock and there's a back side of it 1974 came from Koons motorcycle shop in Belleville Ohio little ad these were two thousand dollars on the west coast another ad is this pretty cool [Applause] nice little ad there Kawasaki had a flair back then where they were advertising the stuff like this this is me and hello and a guy named marker you start for us we service this motorcycle farm in 2012 and here's a some of his relatives on the bike I love those glasses and here he is I'm not sure who that is now here is the original handbook that goes into tool carrier in the back or they called a documentary I guess they call it this is his original warranty card this is the warranty book and here's another warranty paper this'll all go with the motorcycle now this is some of his other relatives everybody loved that motorcycle they had a big Wixom fairing on at one time too okay now this bike is so original when the in Ohio when the titles came out back in the 70s they had the frame and they had the motor z1f his frame is he won he is the motor so we're only about 20 some apart 23 numbers apart that's pretty cool I think he got some insurances and parties where the bike was in the back I like the pants a ring is cool this bike is a part of of the 70s I mean this is a true unmolested motorcycle this is the original bill of sale for the motorcycle from Kuhn cycle and Bellville Oh Ohio these supple tacos too and with the luggage rack and everything the luggage rack was $28 so he was looking at 2250 out the door that's pretty cool and then there's the majority of his sales records keep mine the bike only has about 20,000 miles so here's his insurance papers and everything this is us as registrations this is when we worked on it a long time ago Johnny's back in 2012 another Johnny's receipts so you put tires on it and everything and there's an insurance papers that premium was 46 dollars a year for the insurance on that and he valued at $10,000 back then and it's just some there's some cool pictures he did a couple different exhaust on it so in closing here this is about a complete service job they charge them 1350 labor and 874 parts so forecourt soil was $3.60 no filter was 510 so you know this is this is documentation of a real authentic motorcycle it's very hard to find them with this kinda commentation so we just thought we'd show you here you got a vowel sound and oil changed and a seal or something complete engine adjustment so very very neat stuff first couple of plates and stuff so I thought we shared this with you I don't know if he wants to be heard all this stuff but uh I know the doc I know that the book had stuff will go with sale the bike so um I just thought we'd show you this we will be marketing this motorcycle this gentleman doesn't no longer rides him and he once they get rid of the bike and there's not too much interest in his family for it but he knows it's worth some money so we're gonna be selling it for him on ebay so should be up there next day or so and there we're all going to go into barber festival in Alabama so we could probably take the bike to barber someone's going that way okay thanks miss my customer race motorcycle he is the original nur the title actually has his name on it with the engine number as well as frame number the bike is clean got the genuine Kawasaki exhaust he had a cooker on it for a while as you can see the writing on the pipes right here this is all the real deal right here pipes are nice and maybe some small marks here and there maybe from the garage or whatever but this is nice very very nice underneath the seat he's got a sealed battery got the original toolkit got the book as the warranty card deny the warranty book this is nice we've got the toolkit nice screwdriver with the Kawasaki Heavy Industries tag on and everything a nice toolkit not sure if the pliers are original or not they do say Japan most likely they are they say Japan on the inside here however we are missing one key ingredient and that's the feeler gauge that goes right here the bag is not perfect but it's shiny but we do not have the gauge as of right now so uh outside the gauge is looking pretty good I will contact the owner and see if I can possibly find a gauge but I don't know if he has or not I can't say the bike is flawless the paint is slightly slightly slightly faded on the top not bad but slightly so has the yellow paint on the bolts here meters are nice everything's nice inside the tank has is been been lined at one time years ago well there's no rust we have a new Pingel petcock on it we put these on just for safety reasons we do it to everything the oil pump is underneath here you've got your the tank is right here for the automatic chain arler this is your dipstick right here okay the bike still has the small chain adjusters on the back it's an early early 74 because if you come to the carburetors right here you have access to the float Bowl here as in 73 also we still have the coating on the levers from genuine grips they're a little bit worn this is all the real deal this is all the real deal they're early switches still has a nice rubber plug and a headlight I see no issues no damage this is a nice bike see if it starts it's been sitting for a long time we got it running today but I think would be okay [Music] [Music] all right they're working really good supreme absolute I don't think this bikes over here any cause original decal and very nice fight Hotel [Applause] virtue or limit the world [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] okay this has to be one of the best unrestored bikes I've ever written my life we've got good tires on it's got Avon tires on it that he put on some time ago this is just a really really really nice bike needs nothing a nice unrestored bike could be for a museum could be for every day rider could just be for your own little man cave whatever you like this is a nice bike unrestored
