[Music] good morning everyone we're loading up the brand new 2024 model 42t Freeman we're heading to the Bahamas we've had a gorgeous day here it's lit Cal and we've been working on the boat you know we just got it end of last week we spent the last few days kind of working on it tweaking it and even when you get a new boat you know there's always a few things to work on we got most of it going 100% and uh you know we it's a lot of prep work to go on a big trip like this so we spent the last few days buying grow groceries getting tackle rigged and organized um a number of people you know went to the store multiple times Chris Is Here Charlie here Frank Landing we're bringing the little girls Madison me and Sarah so we got a boat full and uh you know we've been loading the boat and that's this boat is perfect for a Bahamas trip like that there's a lot of storage in it you got de- Patches in both sponson so you can put all your food in there all your dive gear charcoal for a Beach barbecue if we do that we got bait and coolers we got another yeti on the boat here we got donuts this morning you know I gave up sweets no sweet September but I think the girls going get into those Frank got them he does that so they stand on his good side and we're going to have a beautiful day to cross over there so we're going to run 180 Mi we're going to Great Harbor in the barry Islands I've actually never been there and we're excited and it's been a lot of work to get a boat ready um you know between getting tackle rigging ready getting stuff off the old boat out of the shed and uh you know just hopefully we don't forget anything I can hear City now it's calling Landon I don't know where she's at she's up there somewhere but let's get loaded up here and let's take off and we'll see you soon we also got the new spotzero mobile mini unit and this is what this is designed for so we can take this to the Bahamas it's easy to move you know the other one was a mobile unit but it's a little bit bigger and a little heavier more combersome a perfect machine to wash boats up to I think 40 ft we're 42 so we're just pass it but you get the point but it'll clean the water there pulling out a button Mar right now we're going to show you the new Garmin GPS units that we got that was the biggest change from this boat to the last boat and uh show you how far we're going the route we're going to go and there's actually some really cool features on this that we just learned about so we'll show you all that and uh hope we're going to have a good Crossing I know the boat's heavy now but it's a good way to break it in so we're going to great Harbor in the Bahamas it's right around 180 Mi and there's one really cool feature that we just learned on here so this is all the way we got to go that's the Bahama bank so this is great Harbor that's where we want to go so we're going to plug it in right here you can hit Auto guidance and that'll pick an automatic recommended route and it's going to show you a deep safe spot to cross over there when we go over the edge of the Bama bank so we're going start navigation 183 Mi right there and this is one little correction it made because there's rocks in here so this is a cut you can run around now say that does look a little sketchy there and you can move it to wherever you want to go say that's a little nervous hit adjust path so then you click it so you say you don't want to go there and you want to go down here to where see that's the recommended route so we can pull it down there and it'll change the entire route to go that way Sarah's more familiar with the garments than I am and she paid attention other day when we got a crash course so all we do is move it by a mile just so we know it's a safer and between those rocks there and so we're not like dodging through Coral heads at you know 8: 9 10 in the morning what time is it now 8:45 we left 45 minutes late but we still got plenty of daylight we're going to head done we're going to go and uh let's see what we get for a fuel burn crws and let's get up on playing we've got 50 miles to go to hit the edge of the bank and it'll get a lot calmer over there it's not rough by any means right now but there's a little North Wind so a little swell out here like two to three occasional 4 foot ground swell but uh a little bouncy back there not too bad we're making 35 36 mph getting 8 m per gallon and the distance 184 miles 183 184 great haror we're headed but half of it is open water other half will be on top of Bahama Bank players taking a little nap right now Sarah St on B Madison these engines are mounted a little bit higher than my old engin which has some benefits to get a little better fuel burn a little bit faster drop back if it's rough you can't get the B down as much so it's always give it take but we got 49.6 mil to go then we'll kind of sh we're up the Bahama Bank there we're crossing over up you then so we just hit the edge of the Bahama Bank we're taking a five minute break can get the Drone up there and have a little snack we got into some potato chips in the way here but uh we're going to keep running here get a little bit of food bathroom break Claire is rubbing ice on me for some reason why you doing that she cool me off she said got absolutely beautiful the last uh 45 minutes or hour so it's going to be a really pretty Crossing today and we still got to go about 90 more miles so over the Bama Bank there to where we're headed and uh you guys are along for the ride I'm finishing up blunch real quick Frank got on the boat Y and twisted his knee he's gimping around but he really wanted to go so he still came Sarah brought a little battery box a jump pack I believe and uh Frank has his cold water ice circulating knee brace okay sorry here's our 13 p.m. update we got 26 more miles to go to Great Harbor we're making good time over 40 mph A8 m per gallon there snaping a little n back there as well but we're on the bank now and it's you know really C back there now one or two fo shop but we're running comfortably ate lunch has Gatorade do some water we keep down a couple lollipops and we should be there before 2:00 so made made really good time so far hopefully keep making we'll see you guys we P up the field Dock and uh clear custom to take it through the next step 71 that is it 14 14 you on 14 hey we're coming in hoping to clear Customs we're a couple miles out um as you enter the cut uh can you give us a h um on Jan 16th um you could come in on well you could just come in to slip number of the sorry a 42t center console watch that so you can come in on to slip number 23 23 that's the b in h stab time all right we'll be up there in about 10 15 minutes thank you watch it up I'll be at the S to assist you with your fur the standing by 1614 we go we're just call them we're a couple miles away get my heads up they can get a hold of Customs hopefully meet us at the dock almost [Music] there so we're pulling in the cut here at Great Harbor it's my first time here Chris has been here for how many years you been coming here 20 years I don't know about that like almost 20 years Chris been coming here so very familiar with the island the waterers around it a little bit of local mileage you could say think we okay I don't think we're going next step clear Customs we burned 230 gallons of fuel to get here I guess 220 225 so be a couple more it's pretty close and uh we'll get cleared in first and go from there we lost the swivel bounced loose wiggled free we'll put a new one on it not sure if we're going to use this reel or not but we got it just in case I have 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 nine passports in my hand [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] he we're off we're cleared in we're going to our town home now tie up there had to do Customs integration but we got cleared in there so we Customs immigration we had did a click to clear beforehand so we had most of the paperwork done you know to get in here there was one or two little mistakes we're going to the town home now to go tie up there so we're tied up at the house we're going to stay and this is the mini mobile unit the spot zero and we're going to give the boat a really good washing the engines are salty we didn't take a lot of spray coming here but we did take a little bit you know in the Gulf stre there was two to two to three is an occasional 4ft swell there like a 15 KN wind so we did get a little bit back there but we're going to give the Gat a good washing and this is the exact reason why I got this machine so this one one is very mobile the other one's bigger not as mobile so this is the one you want for traveling especially if you got a big center console or you know even a smaller medium siiz sport fish if you got a bigger one you want bigger but we're going to start hosing down here and get it clean and uh get it shined up and then hang out for an hour or two then it'll be dinner time so this is inside one of the Town Homes we got two of them and it's actually really nice got nice bar right here the kitchen over here really nice couch there's even like a arcade game over there and they say the other one has a ping pong table which we're super excited about upstairs the bedroom there's laundry machines here we got a freezer pack full of food lots of Pancakes for the kids so that'll keep them happy we got some steaks in there and we're ready to rock and roll so tonight we're just going to probably I don't we're going to cook here go out we may go out just tonight but then tomorrow be our first day on the boat and go have some fun we're in the rental car tour guide Chris is going to take us on the first Island Tour we're going to check the beach out and go try to find a place to eat dinner cuz we want to eat dinner tonight at a restaurant and then uh tomorrow night we'll cook huh it used to be a legit hotel right here that's it man that's how you communicate on the island you hunt the horn and it's horn Communications hello that's the airport uh 2 minutes down the road this is the beach club in here like a little little bar they just rebuilt the airport cuz someone set it on fire [Music] Chris took us to one of the beaches here it's beautiful super soft sand s is absolutely loving it she's going crazy running the water running out first I help me to make a sand castle I think she's got some uh Toys over there but a little afternoon stopper we're going to go find a restaurant soon hopefully we stop at Hammerhead we may go back there they got some conch conch bits they said but we're looking for big pieces of crack conk so we'll see we might be back there though going now to White waterer restaurant Chris say Chris our tour guy we're going to have a good time this week it down just a little little patience with the weather and we'll we'll we'll have some fun we'll find them we'll always find them got Snapper Lon got whole fried snapper know was going to come that way we got look we found them chicken nuggets because these tender nuggets over here check out this banana bird so CHR Chris took us to a couple different restaurants and we picked what with the white water white water wait what is that banana bread for I want to have a for when you're in the Bahamas you have got to get CRA con so we're doing this tomorrow going on the boat yesterday met the The Crossing got here got all set up and the plan is to go do a bunch of free diving hopefully get some hog fish maybe some conk or we're going to bring the fishing rods too in case we a little bit of fishing so let's load up we are getting the boat ready this morning we got food in here we got a fish box up there we're getting out some water getting out some Gatorades one piece of advice was when ice is a premium in the Bahamas it can be hard to get there's an ice machine here but it's very temperamental they've been here three times to fix it in the last 18 hours but it's pumping ice now so we got three maybe two or three five Gall buckets out of it but if you got a refrigerator or freezer the better move is to put it in the fridge or freezer the night before you get your drinks cool that way you don't burn all your ice so we're loading we're getting organized and hopefully we'll be out of here in the next 20 minutes here comes the man the myth and the legend promises a Bo boatload of fish today let's go skip he promises a boat load of fish name that movie you'll get a boatload of fish [Music] [Music] we just slowed down we're making right around 40 m an hour and we're actually getting .9 mes per gallon and like we said earlier these motors are mounted engines technically are mounted up higher than my last boat which when it's calm that's going to be the benefit you get a little bit more speed a little better fuel burn but when it's rougher you know you won't be to get a bow down as much so it's a little give and take but we're going to dive we had to go for a little run it was muddy water back there so we ran you know good ways covering some ground and uh we're going to try to focus on that 30 to 40ft stuff see we can go get some Hogfish and then this afternoon hopefully find some conch maybe get the girls in let them hopefully dive up a couple conks so we're going to load up get her dive gear on now and hopefully go get dinner what we got up there we got a hog number one of the trip yeah dog we got a hog fish for dinner we're not skunks you didn't think I was going to let you down right that's a nice hog fish we ain't got no net hang on let me back up that's a nice hog fish that's a beauty nice job got a fish nick yeah got tight suck got a fish Nicholas look at that we got one we eating good now so I have not got in yet I'm I'm trying to get the lials on for Sadi and CLA to play in their little swimming pool Sarah just popped a big hog fish over there Charlie just got the one up there I'm going in here I got to get one myself before it's over let's check out this hog look at that one look at that Hogzilla dude look at that that's a freaking moose yes Sarah with the biggest hog Charlie's was good mine's bigger oh yeah that is a that is a hogfish right there that's a tiny nice one char s goes that's a tiny [Music] one Charlie's in the lead it's not a competition or tournament but anyhow we're going to keep scor Charlie's got three s's got one is hers the biggest so far it's always a competition with Nicholas okay is always competition I got one we moved spots we moved about a mile first drop big hog drilled them I might give s her run for money that's what we were after right there I thought good okay we're just getting out of the water there was a huge Turtle there kind of sleeping we're still by we eventually woke up you know either from us of a boat noise but massive I think uh kind of it's a green turt logger head but there's some big remor there're laying there too I did get a really nice Hogfish let's go check them out I just asked Lon if mine was the biggest Hogfish yet he go no I think Sarah's is bigger and I said well I actually didn't see it and he said well I thought Charlie is bigger too than the first one this is mine here's Sarah we're going to do a quick measurement to see B ends pretty much huh it look the same very close you guys want touch him he won't hurt you just touch him he won't like you touch him he touch his tail he that's how we get the girls familiar with fish but beautiful Hogfish there probably 7 lb look at that mouth I mean this mouth is huge it opens up they eat like a lot of shellfish and like crabs or not shellfish really maybe Crustaceans like crabs and shrimp but that thing is that mouth is huge there big old mouth there got that little Top Fin there I got one I'm happy Charlie's Got the most though it is yeah so we are jumping and try to get some conch now ideally we'll get half a dozen cuz that to be planning for some nice uh kiche to make up the next couple days got a good start on the Hogs the girls really want to go swimming they're kind of whiny so they're going to jump in I don't know if they'll be able to swim down 12T to get a conch but they'll jump in there so hopefully Madison don't catch one maybe Landon maybe the girls were lucky but get some conch here eat aat take a lunch break and then go back at a little more spear fishing after this hopefully that is a conk that's the target species we got two so far Madison just got her first ever k bring them on up here the target species so that's our number six right there that'll be our limited conch there's a conch in there you see there the eyeballs down there very good eating we had crack conk last night at the from the restaurant there in town but now we can make our own we'll probably do some Ceviche and then probably do some crack con the next couple nights but here comes a giant one standby biggest one of the day Sarah says the biggest one's down there anyhow that's the Kong that's his foot there let's see what M with theat we're going to have to trade them out this one's going back that one's coming in they're getting bigger that's a nice one look at that shell and to keep them they have to have like a defined and formed shell so we got KK for dinner all right we got half a dozen Hogfish half a dozen conk we're going to go jump in try to see if we can't spear one or two more then maybe go look for some lobsters but awesome first day here in the Bahamas so I cleaned a couple of conks I threw the shells in there and the fish got fired up and Charlie just got a aaber snapper not a monster but honestly a perfect eating size one for over here sometimes a bigger fish you got to worry about sigera you know from eating the reef fish that to uh toxin but he just got a beautiful perfect eatting size one he's a little pissed oh he's angry cabara Snapper Charlie's cabara Snapper look at those teeth on him perfect eating size one he going in the cooler with the [Music] Hogs St got a stone shot on that one killed him dead I guess killed him he'd be dead anyhow but mediumsized [Music] one Charlie got tight nice hog he went down on a mutton snapper about 5 six lbs and that big old hog came up and boom came right up to say hi good eye Nicholas good eye [Music] work hey is that assist that's an assist did you guys see that cab up there bro yeah now we got tight double header double header for me and Chris I didn't get the shot I wanted but I had to take the shot I got I want a head shot but I didn't get it but I we still got him he's he's there my tip came off it was not pulled through there properly I guess we missed this piece I might have done it last but saw one really big hog two big Hogs the biggest one of the day I could not catch them big old brown dark brown snat on them try to get a shot on he racing back and forth but didn't get him the big ones ain't big by being dumb to God Chris just got another hog I'm eating an apple we're done they got a nice hog there oh yeah dog got tight yeah look at that one 245 got him huh dude it's a beauty that's a good one nice good job man this is one of the nicer Hogs here we had like four or five really nice ones and that's a male you can see the real dark brown snout on them and a hogfish actually is hermaphrodite so they switch from female to male and the biggest one like in the area or the group you you're living in that's the one that changes sex to a male if the male dis appear so very good eating though awesome fish I mean look at the size of that mouth there teeth in there but that thing will open up there right there like that those teeth in them just with a mouth on them and we get a few in the keys but that's we don't really get the nice ones like that and well so we're going to clean him up one of the best eaten fish no doubt about it you know really clean white meat then I'm going to show you him then going to show you conk then we're going to put the camera down and go wash the new Freeman and uh do a nice big feast tonight so here we go just like anything just right behind the head there down towards his anal vent we'll just make her outline and work around now the Hogfish they have you know a huge head on them like the f- will be decent size but it's not like a giant F just cuz the head is so big but you guys will love seeing the color of this meat obviously spear fishing anyway try to get head shots but you got to take the shot it gives you CU you may not get another one trying to go over his RP cage there right over his rib bones you can kind of hear the knife touching the bones there and if you can go over them then you kind of keep your knife from getting super dull which is good too we're going to save these heads cuz some of these people here will make fish head soup and uh eat the throws a little bit of cheek meat and Head meat so nothing will go to waste which will be good Chris knows a lot of people here you know he's been coming a long time so that's where the spear hits we're just going to knock out that little flesh wound there where the spear was knock this out right here get all that clean look how white that is super white meat knock out that Center bone and we are good to go that's a fet of Hogfish right there we'll see back in the kitchen with him but let me show you a conch real quick too so that's a conch right there we're going to get him out of there with sck a hammer a screwdriver and a knife and the con you want get right here I guess I think it's the third one back there but just right this is the Zone here and you want to make about a 1 to 2 in hole in there we just busted this hole in there just about an inch and a half or so we're going to take a knife and we're going to kind of cut around the edge of that and a little short knife is probably better but we're just using kind of junky cheap knife so we did that now we're going to reach in here and grab this con's foot just like that and if we watch we're going to pull on them we should be a to pull them out so I cut that loose that's how you cleanic conch right there and now we're going to clean them this way all this is like the guts con guts they call it and scraps all that sand right there this is really good bait Snappers Bone Fish stuff like that so that's conch gut right there and this is the pistol earlier we're playing around on the boat there could did a couple on the boat but that's a conch pistol so I think that's the reproductive organ some people eat that they say it's behind me in Viagra we're going to feed it the Snappers let's see if they like it the Conch slime is the hard to get off your hands that's where sand comes in handy but all we're going to do is just knock the rest of these pieces off his body that we don't want to eat that piece there those are his eyeballs so we're going to cut that off as well and cut his foot off so that's his foot that's how they crawl around in the bottom and The Conch lives a long time so that's what they crawl on the bottom with it that's conk foot then the next thing will be to skin this whole thing and skinning them is not fun I won't lie but we want to try to get all of the brown skin off there and just have it where it's white so you can see it's going to take a while but you guys kind of get at the point hopefully so we're going to keep skinning these we got a handful to do so I'm going to clean fish Sarah Madison and Frank are going to go to the beach take the girls there let them have a little fun playing on the beach Charlie and Chris are cleaning the boat they got the spot zero going and that just makes life so much easier having that mobile unit that you can pick up move you know whether you're traveling even in the states or Bahamas you know the water's obvious horrendous there bad for the boat so it makes just your life a lot easier being able to clean it with the spot zero you have to shame of the whole thing watch out bro you're like a Wednesday you're like a Wednesday right in the middle like that the kitchen is small but we got like three chefs in here I'm getting the con skin Charlie's prepping the Hogfish Chris is going to do a big old steak that he got we're going to let you watch Charlie cuz this will be the good stuff with Hogfish and I'm just going to get this scan that we're doing ciche it's been a heck of a day and because of that magnificent labor we have ourselves this gorgeous Hogfish Hogfish is one of the best eating fish in the ocean is a clean white delicate meat you can make it just however you like but because we have a lot of people to feed and everyone's very hungry we're not going to get too crazy Gucci with all of this we're going to make something that is quick something that is Savory and something that is absolutely delicious we've got some fantastic Caribbean spices we got our fresh frozen vegetables here as a side option we got Chris putting together a Tomahawk Steak we're going to make a little bit of Sashimi out of this as well it's going to be a magnificent meal to celebrate our first Conquest night in the keys oh wait I forgot where I was I'm in the Bahamas I started looking at him I thought I was in the keys whoops anyway it's going to be our first magnificent meal in the Bahamas stay tuned you're going to love this we just taking a little extra moisture off of that fish right there hey what was that we're going to make sure we trim that up nice and pretty we're do a quick little bit of sushimi with it really we are making some magic happen here with this Hogfish Sarah's first time having Hogfish shimi how much try too TR a little salt and pepper goes a long way M it is good it looks like Wahoo just a little bit it's very [Music] good grab a thing of the mac and cheese and put it on like 5 minutes in the freezer yeah put a little surf and turf tonight we're chilling the Kong salad this K ciche very good that is you have to have that if you go to Bahamas that's a Bahamian tradition right there it tastes better if you catch your own con and make your own them act well I don't know the logos make really good con Sals it's more rewarding if you catch your own conch and clean it and then make your own but the locals make really good conk salad that right there a bamian me definitely have to save room for a bite of steak when it comes what would you call this this pan seared hog fish that is pan seared hog fish it's going down it is the softest fish out there melt in your mouth can taste the mosqu flavor to it look at it breaking apart on the fork there absolutely gorgeous super white delicious get you some Hogfish in the B one bite of con salad here and then we're going to let L put the camera down so you can eat dinner too cuz everyone is starving and hungry let's see how that turned out we up to are we up to standard good job on my fish that's the one A+ All Right the K of beef Chase as good as it gets too good job Sarah really it's a good good it's very good either that I'm starving but I think it's really good day two is coming up tomorrow in the Bahamas for the adventure I guess day three technically but day two here cuz it took a day to get we'll get a couple more people's opinion and we'll see you later what you think franker we're in Paradise brother food's great everything's good man we're so blessed frager's getting old though Gatorade zeros instead of ser bases back in the day no man it's great I love it and we had a blast now you did a good job driving the boat today I think that's something a lot of people don't realize for 7 hours you were driving the boat while we're all swimming and try to keep an eye on four five six of us at a time yeah six people in the water and they put their head down and then they scatter like cats man thank God it was C we can keep an eye on everybody everybody was safe man what a beautiful day man living it thank you very much thanks for being here sassy what you think you approve very good Charlie cooked the fish really good there's mac and cheese from Costco Frank got perfect I haven't tried the con in oh it's delicious what we got that steak right there a little Tomahawk buddy a little Tomahawk who taught you how to cook oh my belly we're getting the W line ready in case we pull today get something big so today is our serious fishing day weather looks pretty good all the next few days but today looks like the nice to the next few so we put in a long day but we're going to do a little bit of trolling a little bit of bottom fishing maybe some deep dropping and see what uh see what we get into so stay tuned [Music] there's some birds working s appears to be getting Seas s lights there's some ppus there I think the birds are actually on the ppus Frank can see him chasing bait you're call you want we're getting rigged up here getting a feather and a strip ready see if we can catch pulling it a little bit of troll in here to start the day y good got a bite but it's not the bite we want I think it's a barracuda you never know it could be a Mack roller little any more of them keep going like that the Jack out the way you why don't you just let it out really quick uh Nick right behind the boat so straightens out the the leader thought we had on a grouper the old jack fish we're going to try to catch a mutton snapper our grouper fishing was a failure but let's see if we can't cat mutton Snapp and let everybody get in on the action here tight suck just strawberry dog that right franker we the first group on the new boat look at that funky thing a trigger they're actually very good eating almost a firm texture like lobster Meats it blackens very well is there a dehooker over here you're coming in the boat this is a long way to go to catch some trigger fish but we're on the trigger fish there's a strawberry grouper in these Waters and I caught someone else's line isn't that beautiful really amazing got Yellow Tail there's a Yellow Tail there's a nice Yellow Tail good job one for the fryer franker just got him Yellow Tail Madison got a nicer one little baby grouper over here too but that'll be good we'll fry him up I'm going let this little grouper go but beautiful colors in them massing on M is tight you got something on tight sucker yeah dinou STP up no so pretty Ro I think uh I think we should go back to spear fishing another baby grouper beautiful colors but not the big one we're hoping for that Connecticut blood oh big trig we found the triggers again donkey Trigg they found us yeah light we are putting the Herd on the trigger fish today we'll have to break out all the trigger fish recipes on this one because it's getting Grim out here so we're going to do some deep droing we're 600 ft of water got the brand new hooker electric spooled up with some 65 lb braid some Berkeley Prospect one of our 50 lb uh stands deep drop rod try to catch yellow ey Snapper there you go all right go back Downy double up we've got one on we're going for two it can be tough to tell when the second one needs it but just it really start jumping around more than do it you don't want to do you want to jam the break it off so you hit 100 make oh we got it that a a freaking Snapper down a little bit coming what that be are you kidding me a barracuda he must have ate our Snapper that's all it was well he probably ate our Snapper W be a good dat he just came up too yeah well I think we had on some nice Snappers but the Cuda ate them on the way up yeah Pig bear Cuda in the Bahamas fishing is slow today sa seasick we've got a couple nice suger fish and a few Yas in the Box hoping for a couple deep drop fish massive Barracuda though that's worth any points good bait we got a lot of bait now yeah we were worried about that we were running low on bait and said we need to make up for it right now 25b somebody would call it 40 but probably 25 no Snappers yet we do have the trusty uh Tigress lead holder so we're not at least putting the Rusty rebar or nice Rod ERS morale is down right now but it ain't over yet leave you the last 1,000 ft of water so that is a drop one more drop a wind Snapper they don't get very big but they're delicious eating and this is a almao jack which is in 1,000 ft of water which is not cool wow the color on that fish there it's a very white delicate meat R up beautifully Sears beautifully it's a delicacy in some countries he's now so it's lunchtime Madison does have a couple more Snappers on it our ground we going have a big fish dinner tonight some conk as well here and Chris shot this nice Yellow Jack I don't know if I got it on video or not but nice Yellow Jack right there about prob about 10 lb probably close to it 9 lb 10 lb we saw a few huge on actually like 20 lb but uh very good for sashimi and a lot of people don't know that and you can fry it up and Grill it too we you know we got Hogfish we got y snapper we got Yellow Jack we got con but we're not going to turn cheek like a lot of people love eating this so a little bit of Flesh room there where the spear was but not bad we're just going to clean it out when I was I was cleaning the con the rest of the team was cleaning the boat there and uh they had the stereo going the tunes going and jamming out another local uh guy here at the Marine that lives across the way he asked we had any extra fish we said yeah we got a few for you so we gave him a couple little groupers and uh a Yellow Tail to get him dinner covered so I think he was happy he was dancing the music too I know he liked it and this will be very good eating here Jack's have a very hard bony tail there this one's going to be kind of hard to get through we going to want to skin this now got one little piece of the rib cage in there that we want to get rid of the bloodline is pretty thick on these Jacks so we'll try to leave like a little bit of meat on the skin just so it's not like we can trim it up later but not like we want to get all the skin and bloodline on it you can kind of see this right here let's get rid of that skin there that's the bloodline there so we just try to knock out 90% of it now and then we'll do the rest of it back in uh the house up there with the Flies and those seams aren't too bad because there's a few bugs around here and that right there be very good Simi we'll see you guys back in the kitchen a little while the kids went to the beach with uh Sarah Madison and franker so they're going a little beach time they wind up having a good afternoon in the morning you know C was seasick so hat to see that but it is what it is so we'll see you in a few minutes you like I like to use Italian breadcrumbs but the problem is they come a little fine a little thick so we're going to make them a little finer a little SE complete seasoning or Everglades goes well just go ahead and stick her in here be generous I'm cleaning conquer got a nice batch of it done so far this is the tedious part getting the skin off of it getting all the dark stuff of it so want that nice white I'm split them in half makes a little bit easier we're going to make a little batter we don't got eggs so we're working with what we got all right see when you pour it in there it's a little thick right let's give it some love little seasoning give me a beer you can only do this with Loos no other Beer Works no other Beer Works same story same story over here for the beer batter we're going with the Lo Kio we should double up on that it only works with Loos it's true all right once I get my sizes of the fish I want I'm going to season them and then once we have it in here we're going to take our breadcrumbs that we grinded down check out how fine that comes out and we are going to come this is the fun part take your chunk right in there and look how nice it comes out that's a pretty chunk that's going to make some nice nuggies you want to come like that the reason you grind it is to get the full coverage of it I guess I get credit for cleaning conch we're not catching them subie and Madison did that Lon chopped up a bunch of it so far and I'm chopping up the rest of it and we're going to make conch fritters plus some con ciche Charlie's Got a good con FR recipe so we're looking forward to that and just basically cutting up into little pieces this is the last one we're doing and that'll be five con from today and plenty for a nice big meal to mix up with some hog fish and from that Snapper yesterday that we scared too making some conch fritters some bamian conch fritters we got ourselves some flour we got ourselves some crumbs we got we got ourselves a little egg we got ourselves a little milk we got ourselves everything we need for a good looking conk Fritter here we want this to be thick but not too thick you know what I mean look at that that's perfect problem with most conch fritters is that most conch fritters are bread balls and you don't want a bread ball you want a conck Fritter so we're making it right for all you Keys people out there who know about Alabama Jack one of the best con fritters in the keys this one's for you all right so we're frying up the kuero we shot we made little nuggets as you can see here we're getting them that golden brown and we're only giving them about maybe an inch by 2 in long so it's like a little chicken nugget and you get the full flavor of it otherwise no one wants to eat a big slab that's pretty comes the last nugget out of the look how the batter gets perfectly crisp around it so here we at the Hogfish a little different chunks cut them a little longer so they everybody can tell the difference I'm just going to load them up into the fryers here's the finished creation I take no credit for cooking it or preparing it but Charlie and Chris did we got fried Hogfish a little bit of Snapper conk fritters a bunch of rice and fresh limes good as it gets out over there good job good as it gets right there let's get this on the table we eat these people are hungry out that was it Christy approved it turn out good oh I'm fully loaded they're using a sauce on there which you can do sauce on it have a little bit of fresh lime on it you approve sir well I had a couple bites earlier of the fish and it was really good you cannot beat a good fried fish fresh super soft delicious I got to try the con crter too though I like take some con salad too put it on there this is a con Fritter here and this is a real con Fritter there's a lot of con here where lot of times you get it like all breing right Charlie great c meat man real deal right there let's get some other people's opinions and uh we got two meat falling out still but we can do some fish for a nice appetizer start we got nice hog fish from yesterday we brought one trigger and one uh winchman Snapper too I don't know if it's wenchman or winchman but let's fly out with fish throw a slab on the grill we wait for uh the steak to th out for a nice lunch now putet his eyeball yeah putet his eyeball one time okay we're going to scale the winman Snapper and then we're going to gut them we're going to knock all the scales off and you don't want to gut them at first because if you gut them then you lose like the rigidness of the fish's body so not going to [Applause] be I right Chef Chris Go season them up and Claire is burying the Hogfish and the trigger fish with sand for some reason we got ourselves a little bit of Sizzle here there's nothing quite like a fresh snapper cooked over hot coals trick was always a little bit of oil and a little bit of seasoning rubbed into the meat and you don't want to let that that fish sit too long particularly when it's this hot she get all burned up we can't have that so we're just going to keep her agitated more than anything else this was our trigger fish there we were going to do cich with it but we had the Yellow Jack last night instead and we had so much fish so we're going to put this on the grill we're going to keep the skin on it and that's going on the grill next we do the Hogfish too food trigger fish have got super hard skin they D your knives it's the lime juice that makes it just that nice oo that looks good she done in about 30 we're in the Bahamas Beach barbecue today little change of pace Charlie and Chris are on it though doesn't that fish look good that's a tasty fish right there from 1,000 ft of water yesterday I said I don't think I've ever deep dro the m is not caught a snapper we caught a couple but we hit three or four other drifts and lost a couple that big giant barti and I think ate a nice yellow or something but it was not easy yesterday but we got it done and we're having an enjoyable today with the family and friends there we go fresh trigger it's as good as he gets you might have caught this trigger I think I did There's bones when you cook them whole like that there's bones this one I took the bone out cuz I kind of butterflied it but look it peels right off the skin there yeah eat it white and juicy trigger fish too is a little uh more dense I would say it's a firmer meat this one's bone free grab a piece and pull it off get some of that crispy skin on there winman Snapper from 1,000 ft which one you like better fish yeah trigger fish is really good that's really good I like the crispiness you know from the from the charcoal on it the burn on it yeah you just got to watch out for bones when eat it though the hogs on the feeder the hogs on the grill Hogs are on the feed see which one you like better big old Buck kind of walk in here to get him either it's really good or Claire's really hungry maybe a little bit good that's the trigger I got years of experience in the barrel right here in the Mi man fresh from the sea baby this is good the trigger really really good I happen to be partial to the crispy skin of the Snapper when you Char and crisp Snapper skin get out of here H hook hook is bait on good enough we're getting him my fresh shrimp right now here you go nichlas no no you get them all that so definitely like using that on the new Garmin now we're going to jump in they're going to see if they can't get a lobster or two for dinner that'll probably wrap up today so a little bit of big it's six seven pounder no ain't no Lobster I got him woo that's a big Bahama lobster right there there's the tail of the other one that they took off so hey everybody get there King of the islands Chris here he took us to the Lobster Hall it was a lot of work not like he just jumped in there and caught a bunch of them right away they swam a mile probably we we jumped in for a little while but tell them It Ain't Easy work you got to jump in there got to hunt around you got to hunt around down but the pressure was on my boy said we want one big lobster all right so I took him to the jumbo spot just wait to see just wait till see now we're going to cook it on up so it's going to be a feast it came through I know s's exited cuz it's definitely the biggest lobster it's the biggest one I've ever seen I know the biggest she's ever seen so that's really coming to the Bahamas though big lobster so we're going to get in wash the boat down and do another big Feast we're starting to get worn down a little tired I'm having trouble clearing my ears diving so have a little nose uh little miniature nose bleed earlier but Charlie's prepping the Yellow Jack that we got yesterday we're going to do some big giant lobster tonight we might do some steak too but what a day on the beach they cookout blue Hall giant lobsters now fresh fish dinner and lobster coming up yeah good job Snapper in the toes that's a big snapper sna toes Snapper toes CLA getting on the fishing action we're about to prep the lobsters s's turn all right so these lobsters are abnormal I would try to split it but you need a a sludgehammer to break through this carcass so we're going to take our knife come around and that is jumbo now we're not going to get rid of the head we're going to take this and we're going to cook it right now we're going to make some Lobster creole basian style out of this that's a gorgeous chunk of meat I'll see you in the kitchen now that is a donkey tail right there that's a lot of lobster meat we pan sauteed that Lobster because it was so much meat when you cook them in the tail like that they get real chewy so we had to kind of dice it up we got a nice little basian style Creole mix going on here okay we're here with Master Chef Chris the lobster look at the size of that lobster head right there that is massive now we got a whole lobster on this side where's he going I don't know okay Cat come on over the rail and in the pil Perfect all right dinner's up dinner served Lobster by Chef Chris and Chef Charlie Yellow Jack shashimi yellow rice we got some french fries in the air fryer look at that right out of the shell come on bro I'm going to get some greens and some salad on here and some rice but I know everyone's tired of waiting Lon is very hungry he's behind the camera so real lobster is super soft and tender now what was this Charlie bisan style ban style ban both are good that's more flavorful but the lobster on the grill was more tender so little bit this that and we got some homemade french fries not homemade some pre-made french fries pre-made frozen fries which one do you like better for lobster dude Lobster is lobster you're eating lobster you're living big phenomenal Char grilled stewed I eat lobster any day of the week any style I can get it in my mouth what you think Chris I'm a huge fan of the barbecue lobster because it's straight up a true Lobster you're not adding so much seasoning to it stuff like that and look at the size of the magnitude of the lobsters we have we're going to get all the meat out of the head on your scale of lobster bigness and size that one was pretty big today right that's probably the biggest one that I've ever caught or close close to it I mean just look at the head it's it's the width of the plate that's that's why we left it on the on the uh on the plate so you people could appreciate the size of the lobster all right we're gonna get a couple more opinions from a couple smelled them he came up chased them but that is as big as a wenchman I've ever seen very good they call them green eye Snappers too so if you deep drop this is one handy thing to have on the boat it's just a basic lead holder but Tigers makes it and instead of putting this whether you using rebar a window weight a lead lot of times they don't fit in the rod holders they get mushroomed out or they just scratch them up you know you don't want to scratch up the rod holders or if you got a white insert there it'll turn all rusty and brown so this right here fits in there the bigger lights fit in it too which is nice just something super simple and easy but uh perfect you like to deep drop a lot bombs away last chance for romance he that St turn on good go back down another little grouper and another Snapper a yellow eye and a baby Misty grouper so we got plenty of fish nuggies we're going to put these in the cooler we're going to go drag the wire line around for a little bit then we're Bone Fish morning 24 Bonefish apparently 24 so we're going to spend our last afternoon here at the beach the kids love playing on the sand there right there the water breakes in the beach to that we cleaned up a few yellowy Snappers some of those big winchman snappers for dinner we're going to fry those up plus have some steak time to head to the beach and let the kids have some fun then we're going back tomorrow it is our last night here in the Bahamas great Harbor K we got to make use of all this magnificent meat that we brought over from the United States of America and that is why we're putting together a beautiful Tomahawk some gorgeous New York strip steaks and making use of whatever Seafood magic we have left Frank's going to fry some fish we might do a little bit of sushi we're going to see how things work out either way it's going to be a magnificent Feast to conclude include the Odyssey here in the Bahamas stick around it's going to be a fantastic meal so we caught some yellow I Snapper today some wipin Snapper an escalar we gave a few fish away um some of the locals here we fed them up S fil me fing them so I don't know if she got any on video or not my iPhone but hopefully she did show you'll be seeing the clip right now a big manity came up and the girls love seeing that too here right at the uh dock we went to the beach had a really nice afternoon kids love playing in the sand there we don't not have beaches like that back at home in the Keys it's a nice little Bahamas treat here swiming the water on the beach and now it's time for our last Feast for the last supper and great Harbor Kay all right hey everybody Little Fish Fry today with the steaks last night here at uh what is this great Harbor K great Harbor K so what we did did a little deep dropping got some deep water Snapper so I'm just washing them with an egg and some milk just to get something that the flour salt and pepper real light going to get the oil real hot we're going to fry these up light and crispy nothing better than fish that come out a 900 to 1,000 ft deep to uh put on the fryer franker how long you been frying fish for man long time 40 plus years right I'll do the French fries you do the fish that might have been too many it's too late now put them in Prim up last night we're cooking it all one last piece hey tell them how the bone was today was it epic oh my gosh man we caught 24 I lost Sarah of course she always catches the most she got nine Charlie got eight I got seven so we had 24 we caught seen literally thousands of Bonefish is a wildest day of my life man 61 years been bone fishing heck with your dad was the first person to take me when you were old are you now 38 surprised so 32 years ago the first time I went bone fishing with his dad I still can't cast Richard don't worry so what we got here flour just Real Simple Man flour salt and pepper we just uh put a little milk and egg wash in there and we're going to only fry about a dozen pieces at a time to make sure that they all get really crispy and lightly fried perfect listen this is going to be the best fish you've ever had you hear that subie you're going to be the judge Chris just came in with some steaks off the grill we got one big uh what is it Tomahawk he cooking now I think so these I think are strip steaks that franker got we got one big uh Tom HW steak on there we going to have fish it'll be a feast we Tri this break over here Breer that breaker we had too much stuff cooking we just tripped this out with the breaker over here where's the panel at good question let me go look big light for this closet where so we're trying to get the breaker back over there I just kicked my toe really hard on this 1in lip hair you think Chris built it it's possible that hurt my to is all just cracked that's a toe breaker let's see if we got power again hopefully yeah dog we're back on we're back on we're back on we're fry or french fries we got everything homemade tartar sauce it ain't the OV but it'll do it'll do I'm feeding the kids and eating a lot myself too uh he just brought in the tomahawk that's a tomahawk right yeah look at that bad boy what weigh 3 lb I'm cutting up the steak bites for the kids they're going to get some fish too they are hungry tomorrow we're heading back to Al marada and if you all made it this far in the video want to do something got steak we got mac and cheese this is the last supper for us in great Harbor get some veggies a little bit of greens L you want some greens no no you don't eat that do you no nope now I already ate about a whole steak over there cutting it up and you know taste testing it I put some fresh lime juice on the fish I had a bite earlier with the hot sauce on there I don't do hot sauce it was hot the Peppa Tings deep water Snapper though delicious just a light fry nothing heavy duty very good good good job Frank yep Chris good job on steak what you guys think of the fish I think everyone's getting tired you're getting more quiet we're worn out it's been 4 days here a day coming here tomorrow be the sixth day fish is fine Chris put the magic on the steaks King Tomahawk and we got the pepper ttings top it off show them the bone it's all good that's what's left do you want to stay here forever she likes the Bahamas I think Landon wants to stay forever too if he's saying I'm going that's going to wrap up tonight we're just going to have a rest of our dinner here we'll see back tomorrow running the boat home and uh show you a little bit of that and be back to Bud Maris hopefully by 2: or 3 p.m. the latest it's time to pack up the boat and head home we've been loading the boat for a while subie gave it a midnight scrubbing get it nice and clean and proper we're getting some ice on here I'll tack all the rods packing up all the leftover stuff up there plus her bags Claire's bed and hopefully we'll be out of here within the hour boat is almost untied we're almost out of here it's a great trip to Great Harbor we'll show you a little bit going home and that'll wrap up this video so another adventure complete so a straight line distance home is let's go check it out all the way to our head pin 184 mil if we can get .9 m per gallon that'll be really good we're going to run into the golf stream though that lasts you know 90 Mi or so 100 miles going from the Bahama Bank back to Florida so we're going to be going into it you know for 60 70 those miles maybe a little more fuel cuz we be slowed down but uh may bump it up there tad just to make good time it's going to be a beautiful day it looks like a few thunderstorms scattered but we're going to put the radar on just to keep an eye out for boats rain storms all that we'll be underway here [Music] momentarily our first point we had to do is Russell light and that's we'll make another turn towards the bah bank but that's about 40 mi from here you see 39 Mi right there making 39 M hour and we are getting a mile per gallon which is really impressive there so very happy about that easy cruise we may bum up a tad like the 4,000 we're going to make 43 44 miles hour so we will see you guys in about an hour when we run by Russ light just going to update you let you know a total fuel burn we're at 67.9 gallons right now that's what we've gone so far that's what we've earned I'm going to try to get this to a mile so I'm just going to slow down to the satad right close to a mile per G down so when I go over 40 we drop the .9 but not be close enough we're just about to Russ the light we're going to change our course down pick uh a spot across here which will be right here we'll plug in that one right there and go to 47 more miles now we're go more to the West we're still getting a mile per gallon running 40 m hour so super happy about that let's say one two very good right there if you can get a mile for G on four Outboards 12 horsepower is amazing for the comfort that boat provides and uh we're running about another hour and 10 minutes or so and probably stop for a quick break grab a bite to eat then cross the ocean the gulf CER back to Florida make a good time the beautiful [Music] weather and that's our total mileage and fuel burn so we burned 84.4 gallons went 705 miles9 miles and let's do a quick calculation to see now when we were drifting you know fishing or spear fishing now there's Motors running is links obviously they're burnning a little fueld in really moving but let's just type it in real quick and see what we averaged so we did 75.9 divided by 84.4 we average 878 m per gallon so almost 9/10 the mile per gallon 42 of the Quad 300s we'll take that any day well that wraps up the Bahamian Adventure hope you all enjoyed it like we said before if you guys want
