A shit ton of Tarik and Burton in the passing game. I think their linebackers will have a super hard time covering them. On defense it's all about pressure, hopefully we can get to the QB fast and have Roquan and Eddie cover Gronk effectively

On offense: Long sustained drives that chew clock.

On defense: pressure Brady up the middle, that's how you beat the Patriots.

Get pressure up the middle on Brady. That has been the consistent key to beating the pats over the years. Knock Brady and his timing off rhythm with that inside pressure, make him leave the pocket, and jam WRs to throw off their timing. That last part could become difficult with gronk / Edelman / Gordon out there.

On Offense: - Keep Brady off the field by chewing up the clock - see Detroit game - Isolate your best receiving back on the our slowest LB. We have plenty of them. - Burton has to win his match-up against the safety: either McCourty or Chung. - Belichick will force Trubisky to stay in the pocket and throw. He has to hit these completions. - Another WR (not Robinson) has to step up.

On Defense: - Bracket coverage Gronk with LB & S with jam at LOS. - Most Important Defender is Akiem Hicks NOT Khalil Mack. Hicks will have to pressure. - Play Man coverage and jam the receivers. - 4-man rush AVOID blitz.

Few Thoughts myself:

• Cohen and Gabriel will be huge chess pieces in this game. Hill ran all over the Pats. Will Bill try to take him away? If he does watch out for a big game for Robinson. If he’s singled covered watch out.

• Howard should be able to run on the Pats. Hopefully we have a good balance on offense and D.

• Brady had a lot of extended dropbacks. Assuming this will change against our DLine.

• Michel shouldn’t tear up our D like he did to the Chiefs. That opened up the Pats O.

• Roquan needs to have a big game in coverage and against the run.

i know LBs have a tough time at covering Gronk because he’s too fast and DBs have a tough time because they’re too small. Y’all think roquan can take him? This was a matchup i’ve been thinking about for a few weeks now and i wanna see what you guys think.

I think Roquan mirrors Gronk. He has the speed and size to hopefully slow him down. You can't shut him down. Press coverage on Edelman. Fuller on Gordon. The D will show up. I think Nagy screwed up giving the team a week off. Nagy is a new coach still figuring things out. TBH I think we see less of Howard than we have even the last few weeks. Great runner but doesn't seem like he's gelling with this O. I expect another big game from Trubisky. If Gabriel keeps running that out route when he was held I think he has a good chance of catching it. When Shaheen gets back the Bears will be scary.

I get that people wanna cream themselves over Mahomes, but his big throws last night were to wide open receivers. When he faced pressure or had to fit it in a tight window, he struggled (though the reaction was noticeably less exaggerated than when Trubisky makes a similar mistake).
