[Music] so we're gonna want to grab the first word of this and add some reverb on there we'll just use a fruity reverb turn the size up low-cut up a little bit decay the wetness up there and then bring a dry down a little bit now we have it sound like that and we're gonna record that in Edison and now we're going to just cut off this part right here reverse it make it a little shorter there we go and now put that right here and take off the reverb and now it should sound like this to take away so we're gonna want to find a cool little vocal and drag it in to new tone like this boom judo boom baye and then double click so these options come up and now this little area right here we can adjust the formant which is what we're looking for right here so we're gonna select everything and now we can adjust all of them at the same time so here we have a base pattern [Music] and a kick pattern on top of it and if we want them to be sidechain perfectly together the best thing to do is to go to this channel with the sub in it open up a fruity love filter go to presets and go to volume and panning and now this is linked to the volume so let's make an automation clip with that and now we can perfectly sidechain the volume with the kick drum here so just make the adjustments like that and that way you can shape the sidechain exactly to how the kick is and so now every time this plays with the kick drum it'll be perfect let's play it together [Music] make a super simple beat more interesting by just dragging back to clap a little bit so if we have a cake like this and we throw a snare on it and then a clap we can take the clap and then just drag it this way just a little bit and it just makes it sound so much cooler you can take cool loops or samples and make them sound like interesting in a total different way by using the blur function on Edison so if we have this sample here look like this button which is the blur put the amount maybe to zero just play with the settings a little bit preview it sounds pretty dope just kind of blows it together and you can do that with like single samples too like if I wanted to make this more interesting go here now we have a whole new sample right here I can turn it into like a transition sample by using fruity reverb take up the low-cut a little bit turn up the decay turn up the wetness just like we did with the vocal take up the damp a little bit and record it and add it to your library we can take this really simple synth and modulate it with an LFO on the volume and make it sound really interesting so right now it just sounds like this but if we go here and we add fruity balance for the volume and then go up here to peak controller and then we move the volume up here so now we can see there's an LFO going now we go back to the balance right click link to a controller go here to LFO except and now it'll follow this pattern you can change the shape you can change all sorts of stuff there's some really cool future bassy sense I hope you guys liked that video if you did please like comment and subscribe below I'm gonna be making so much more content this year so yeah forget to subscribe
