Morticia and Gomez the GOAT healthy marriage. Also, I'd love an Emperor's New Groove/Kronk's New Groove episode. Edited to add: Roger and Jessica Rabbit as a healthy marriage.
It's been a hot minute since I've seen any of the movies, but I think the couple from "The Conjuring" might be interesting to explore.
Also small nitpick: asexual people can and do get married and have healthy, loving relationships. You're thinking of aromantism for people that do not desire romantic companionship.
I would love to see them do an episode on Ella and Charmont from Ella Enchanted.
Or Margaret and James Dutton from 1883.
Wolf Walkers is also an amazing movie.
They referenced older movies, and it would be fun to see some older movie happy marriages.
Nick and Nora Charles from The Thin Man movies.
Jim and Muriel Blandings from Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House.
Maybe even Bill Simpson and Margo Channing from All About Eve (they don’t actually marry until near the end of the movie, but they’ve been together for years).
AND, the old school GOAT: Adam and Amanda Bonner from Adam’s Rib.
Yeah…I’m gonna need a transcript of everything Alan and Jono said during the Up montage. Hard to listen while mesmerized by the scenes and fighting back tears (unsuccessfully).
