7 Days of Prayer #Day1 | Dr. Sharon Nesbitt

[Music] um [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] well great good morning everybody shalom shalom bocato come on in let's get serious about prayer this morning the lord is faithful and is tabernacle he's holy and it's amazing and wonderful and awesome in all his ways let's uh come in with a heart that is postured before the throne of god and let's get ready to pray we're gonna pray for our nation we're gonna pray for our leaders we're gonna pray that god will do something in these next several days that would blow our minds so let's just legends up to pray i do want to say this and we'll just jump right in and i won't i won't give it you any time i will jump right in and and begin to pray because i want these next seven days to be uh effective i want it to be with swift um [Music] measures of adjudication and with revelation so we're going to pray this morning we're going to pray i want i want to give you about 10 minutes of teaching and then we'll pray because one of the things i really feel like that we need to understand that if we're going to pray our prayers need to be effective we've spent years praying but we have not been praying effectively and we have not seen the results of prayer which the bible says hope deferred make it the heart sick and so uh one of the things we want to do is make sure that our prayers are hitting the bull's-eye and that we are getting uh in real time manifesting what father has given us to manifest i want you to put this in your notes real quickly because i want you to see something and i want you to hear something what i heard the lord saying as i began to study this all over again and just because you think you know how to pray and you pray it doesn't mean that your prayers are effective and um it can weary you wear you out and so i want i want us to be clear and not partly cloudy that we understand that when we pray our prayers will hit uh the target and that we will get the results that we've been praying for i want to show you something in the scriptures go to first samuel 12 and 23 12 and 23. somebody said i just want to pray yeah but you need to pray knowing that your prayers are going to bring results and i think some people have been infatuated with prayer to the point that we've done it religiously and not effectively and not being effective and so i'll i shall rebecca uh the holy spirit has me up early this morning praying through some things and so i want you to look at first samuel 12 and 23 never forget this scripture and never forget the revelation that father is going to give you the bible says in first samuel 12 23 god forbid that i should sin against the lord in ceasing to pray for you uh the bible says that samuel saw prayer as a sin that saw that samuel saw ceasing to pray as a sin he said god forbid that i should sin against the lord in ceasing to pray for you wow so so prayerlessness to samuel was a sin ceasing to pray he says it's a sin it's a sin against the lord himself because as a legislator and a co-creator your job is to bring order to the to the lie to to the earth to the lives of people uh um to situations to all kinds of places that god is giving you the influence the impact over and samuel who the bible says none of his words fell to the ground saw prayer as a place where he held his posture before god and he says if i cease to pray i sin against god himself and what you have to understand that the state prayerlessness is a state in which someone prays less than they ought wow no prayerlessness is not the point where you don't pray prayerlessness is the point where you are not praying uh at the level that you ought that means you know there were there were several years ago the lord wanted me to spend five hours in prayer now that that did a lot to my body it wore on my mind because when you dedicate five hours come on but that was the posture that god has me in and to do anything else was prayerlessness and that means that i didn't hold my posture in god that that what i uh allowed my body to dictate to me and and to the kingdom of the father uh determined that i didn't think prayer was vital enough to carve out five hours to do what god has called me to do and in effect i've cheapened and lessened the anointing on my life then i was ineffective in people's lives because i tried to tell god what was necessary in my life prayerlessness is praying less than you ought to because most people when you say prayerlessness that means that they say that i pray but do you pray at the level god needs you to pray and what is uh sufficient for you may be insufficient for somebody else so you're gonna have to really ask the holy spirit what is the measure of my prayer how much time uh is necessary to bring order to the chaos in the lives of the people that you have obeying me to influence and to impact in this season and so you're gonna have to understand how to do that how to do that now if we want to take a play from the playbook of samuel when the bible says that none of his words fell to the ground that means that everything he said came to pass and he said if i refuse to pray it is a sin if i cease to pray it is a sin against god himself and i really believe that as a nation and as a body of believers we have allowed the spirit of prayerlessness to creep into our lives and don't we pray we have not prayed at the level that god wants us and so i want you to understand this morning that your voice is very important in the kingdom and what measure father has given you you don't need to shrink back you don't need to cease from praying and watch god do it now uh when you when you uh pray less than what the father desires you you then when you fail to pray it is a sin against the person the purpose the plan the pleasure and the promises of god wow wow when i cease to pray i hold myself in contempt when god has given me an assignment to play pray for a person a place or thing or play for the nation or pray for leaders or pray i abdicate my role in the kingdom because of prayerlessness and then i sin against a person when i refuse to pray for them oh that's why look luke 18 says men are always pray and not faint that means that prayer can cause you to faint he says men always pray and not faint when you have a spirit that will cause you to faint it will always result in prayerlessness in prayerlessness and so you've got to understand you've got to ask god what have you given me as a um an assignment for our nation for our leaders now i'm being very careful not to say certain things because yesterday i was censored and certain words that you say on social media they can censor you and so i'm gonna be very careful not to say certain things so my it won't be interrupted and uh so i want you to begin to see prayer now as a legal a posture before god that he's put you on the earth to bring order to somebody's life to bring order to some ministry so to some nation that your job your responsibility is not just to use prayer as a give me give me give me but prayer is the assignment that father has given you and one of the ways that you can please heaven and be effective in prayer is to pray and pray at the at the level and the measurements the father has given you so if he wakes you up at 5 00 am if he wakes you up at 3am and he says pray for three hours our church no uh for the longest and we're still there our our prayer watches three a.m and for three hours we would go to the church and pray i mean for every day consistently for years we have that prayer posture and we saw tremendous things happen if you want to see things happen we have to pray now if we pray more than we we gossip and if we pray more that we were negative towards leadership and what's going on we could see the nation if everybody that is say they are praying is really being effective then this thing should have been out of here and so the lord says sharon you've got to teach them that their prayers must be effective now the bible says i'm gonna go back over uh what we talked last night and then we'll use the last 15 minutes to really begin to pray i want you to put this in your notes come on one more one number one and my prayers are not effective if i don't pray now when i say if i don't pray if i don't pray in the time uh that's allotted to me that god gives me there's a grace i want you to put this in your notes there's a grace on my mandate to pray there's a grace on my mandate to pray there's a grace on my mandate to pray and the enemy would do anything he can to resist you and to hold you back and to resist you and to hold you back put this in your notes um when i don't honor the lord my prayer is hindered when i don't honor the lord number two when i don't walk in humility when i don't walk in humility when i don't walk in humility that means i'm arrogant and i'm pride i'm prideful i'm prideful the bible says in luke 18 10 that there were two men standing there a pharisee and a publican and the pharisee told god everything that he did and um then the publican lipped it didn't even lift it up didn't lift up his eyes and he says oh god have mercy upon me when you're in pride telling god what you've done and how good you are because of your gender because of your race because of your pedigree you begin to look down on others and even in your prayer you are praying prayers that are judgmental that are that are that are that are colored with racism prejudice and all kinds when pride sheep in god doesn't hear you come on people of god with everybody praying and fasting if our hearts were right and if our prayers were effective then this thing would turn supernaturally overnight and i'm believing that as we get our hearts right that as we begin to honor the father that we walk in humility as we walk in humility we'll begin to hear the father and we'll see things turn right side up and we'll see the powers of god no no uh the next one is the wrong motive because somebody didn't hear last night praying with the wrong motive james 3 4 3 says we pray with selfish prayers we are praying selfish prayers selfish prayers in the name of jesus in the name of jesus that you remove every ill motive every wrong motive in your heart why are you praying why do you not pray what is the motive why why your motive your purpose the purpose of prayer is always to advance the kingdom first thessalonians 5 and 18 says rejoice forevermore pray without ceasing for this is the will of god concerning you pray without ceasing rejoice this is the purpose is to bring expansion and to extend and expand the kingdom of god that is my prayer purpose but my strategies are different than my purpose don't get the purpose and the strategy mis mixed up my strategy changes but the purpose remained the same and you got to understand that when i know that i've been purpose in god to do something the strategy becomes easy why because every strategy will be steeped in the purpose is to bring the kingdom into the earth uh isaiah 51 says that god put his words in us that we may plant the heavens and how do we plant the heavens through prayer we plant the heavens through prayer come on i need y'all to help me this morning come on let's begin to pray put this in your notes if we have sin in our lives our prayers are ineffective if we have sin now you can try to go back and listen to yesterday's teaching the videos a little grainy but the audio is good uh if we have sin in our lives if we have sin in our lives if we have an unforgiving spirit if we're unwilling to be reconciled with somebody um we can hinder our prayers so let's pray a prayer of repentance before we even pray i'm big on making sure we're clean according to zechariah that the high priest had uh uh filthy garments on and the bible says i want you to read zechariah 3. the bible says that the angel of the presence of the lord the angel of the presence of the lord see god doesn't come down he said he he has an angel that that carries his presence god doesn't have to come down he has angels to do that he has an angel that carry his presence and the bible says that the high priest was standing in the presence of the angel of the presence of the lord and satan was there to hinder him why because his garments were filthy i don't care if you got apostle before your name bishop archbishop whatever it is oh i don't care what it is if your garments are filtered the bible says that the enemy will hinder your prayer he will resist your prayer and the bible said it took clean garments to be put on the high priest named joshua before the father would allow him to ascend into the courts into the place into the dimension where he could adjudicate adjudicate in the heavens and in the earth so let's begin to pray whatever is in your heart the bible says in psalms 66 18 if i regard iniquity in my heart god will not hear me you got to cleanse your heart and you got to make sure there's no bitterness no ill feelings no unforgiveness no anger nor hatred nor religious um uh uh racism or or or or judgment uh that that that that thing is out of your heart that there is nothing in your heart i don't care who it is i don't care if they're they're evil against you they've done you wrong come on [Music] come on man see i got holy spirit and then the unsure in the name of the lord jesus christ you are uh the governor of the earth you are the one that lives in us you occupy our temple and you alone know the temperature and the condition of our hearts and we ask you now to forgive us of sins of commission or omission sins that that that we did in disobedience and rebellion against you father we ask you to forgive us wash us cleanse us you said you would cleanse us and wash us from all iniquity and we ask you as you did for joshua do for us that we are able to adjudicate and legislate on the behalf of our families and our nation and all that you've called us to so father we ask you to forgive us as a people forgive us as your ecclesia where we've harbored all of these things that will hinder pollute and profane the thing that you've given us to legislate in the heavens father we ask you come on i need you to pray i need your soul remember where jealousy fear doubt unbelief pride fear of crap in us where we've been uh uh in uh all kinds of spirits of rejection and and pollution where we polluted your name and polluted our hearts and where our prayers were not affected where our words were contaminated and we did not understand or see the graces that you put on our lives where we've we is where we have see undo set in the seat of a prayerlessness and selfishness so we ask you to forgive us we ask you to forgive us father wash us cleanse us from every pattern every plot every ploy every prayer i am that the enemy has to deny and resist us in prayer father in the name of jesus reconnect our constitution and our will to you that there is a spirit of quick obedience tie us bind us to the spirit of quick obedience that we obey you quickly you said if we were willing and obedient we shall eat the good of the land that not only are we obedient but we are willing that father we move into this grid into this grace that you called us that we posture ourselves that we begin to pray for our nation and we prak that we stand in the anointing and the grace that you put on sam uh samuel's life that none of our words fall to the ground because father we will always be actively engaging the heavens in prayer that we will we will not cease we refuse to cease to pray we will open our hearts and our minds and we will open our mouthful with purity with sanctification with with the profubunda with the precision and the accuracy of the words that you planted in our hearts that we may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth so father give us our assignment again reassign us give him to our lavender give us the anointing and the grace again and to arrear to fulfill your purpose and plan in prayer make us prayer warriors intercessors gatekeepers those that will legislate those that will keep the hedge and rama and kuryan an aggressive an anointing to pray a penetrating power to pray a legislative authority to pray re-institute our ariaman and reconnect and revive our ambassador rights and powers and authorities to pray and to hit give us the anointing of the prophet to pull down to rebuke to build to plant to bring into this earth ram that which you ordained for this season after you have shifted us cosmically shift us in the anointing shift us in our mentality shift us in our hearts that we are beginning to pray allah will always bring manifestations that our prayers will always cause the angels to advance according to your word that angels are hearkening to your voice let our voice merge with your voice and let there be an overarching power and authority where velocity is in our voice at your level and the amount at the vibrational pool and the frequency of what you've called us into that that the ayah the antu alleviant that the angel armies will begin to be released in the name of jesus that the cause of heaven will be made known in the earth and the undo and every rome would be made right and justice and righteousness will reign in our nation in the name of jesus that spirit of chaos and conflict will give way to peace and righteousness come on pray people of god once you've cleansed your heart allow what the bull the portion of the kingdom that the father has subplanted in your heart will begin to ariamba ramik is and coming to fruition in the name of jesus that the supernatural powers of god and angel armies are being released and young so in real time that they will ride upon the horses and they will ride in the technology in the vehicles that will get them here in the speed that you've called them in the name of jesus and right every wrong and break correction to every polluted place and to every demonic place in the name of jesus we decree and declare that your power and your grace will rest upon us and upon our nation and upon our leaders in the name of jesus let your sons and daughters that here the righteous calls will rise with in a place of purity with a place of repentance and where our nation have profluted and profane in the in the courts of heaven and what has been written over our nation and the glories that have left over our nation and the grace and the mercy and that has been contaminated over our nation father we ask you to forgive us forgive us as a nation forgive us as a people give us a resettle rebirth and let righteous remnant arise with your power and your anointing with victorious living with your glory with your graces that we are able to enact your purpose and plans in the earth as co-creators father we thank you we give you praise and we give you glory come on people of god let it be your testimony that you fulfill your prayer mandate in the earth let it be your confession your decree and your declaration that i fulfill my prayer mandate in the earth that i pray at all times in the name of the lord jesus christ in the name of the lord jesus christ press these next seven days we're going to be pressing into his power pressing into his graces pressing into the mercy pressing into the the books of destiny that is written over your life and written over this nation that you're going to press in that anything that's in your heart that is iniquitous and any transgressional powers that will seek to diminish and deny you access to the place that god has ordained you that will give way to the spirit of a recompense and the spirit of obedience and the spirit of repentance and regeneration and renewal and awakening that we won't be loved to sleep but we will be awake and we awaken that our spirit man is awakened and that we will adhere to the principle doctrines of the kingdom of heaven and we will move at the speed and the grace of the holy spirit decree and declare that you're na that as we are finishing up this fast that is you are breaking any resistance in prayer your rep you are breaking spirits that will receive a fresh mantle to pray receive a fresh posture in prayer receive the to pray receive a fresh mantle in the watches as a watchman as an intercessor in the name of jesus in the name of jesus so father we seal these prayers in your blood and we thank you even now that as we repented allow our repentance be recorded in the heavens that this day that the spirit of prayerlessness and the answer weak prayers will be removed from us and that you will grade us and grace us and seal us in the books that we will be prayer warriors and intercessors that will enact and enforce your plan and purposes and will in the earth in the name of jesus yeshua hamashiach messiah king of the universe of authority will have to give way to the satan of the almighty that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our lord and of his christ and we shall he shall reign over us forever and ever and ever and ever in jesus mighty name we seal them and seal our hearts seal our hearts seal our hearts our motive and our plan and new graces new favor new mercies to accomplish all that you called us to in the name of jesus again i'm being very careful not to say certain words so i won't be censored so you know we're praying for our leaders we are praying for our nation we are praying and and so let this be a template for you to pray don't forget first glory to god first samuel 12-23 god forbid that i should sin against the lord in ceasing to pray for you praying for people praying for our nation praying for those who god has assigned you to samuel saul ceasing to pray as a sin against the lord himself don't forget you are mandated to pray you are mandated to pray and whatever time god gives you if you say pray an hour you pray that out peace say pray three hours you pray three hours if he say pray three times a day you pray three times and if he say pray five times a day daniel pray uh three times a day a muslim pray five times a day uh whatever whatever posture god has given you you do that if he tells you to go on an all-night prayer uh assignment you do that whatever you tell if he tells you to write your prayers whatever he tells you to do do it and do it willingly and do it quickly quickly in jesus mighty name hallelujah we're going to be praying for the next six days up until the 20th and coming into the 21st reminding me we want to make sure our hearts are right so our prayers are effective make sure your hearts are right so your prayers are affected are effective are effective ask the holy ghost where do you need to clean up your prayer life where do i need to align so my prayers will will never be hindered i refuse to allow my prayers to be hindered and so you got to make sure that you are cleaning your heart before you try to clean somebody else up make sure there is nothing in you that the enemy can resist your prayers people are waiting on you nations are waiting on you of nations are waiting um leaderships are waiting on you you carry um a part of heaven to plant heaven and to lay the foundations in jesus name i'll be up praying uh i try to do 30 minutes i'll be up praying in the morning at 5 30 meet me put somebody on the line give them first samuel 12 and 23. some of you dropped off on your prayer mantle mantle and mandate um and um so make sure that remember prayerlessness is not praying but prayerlessness is not praying at the level god wants you to pray at the time god is calling you to pray and at the measure that god is calling you to pray stamp out refuse to allow the spirit of prayerlessness to operate in your life get the mentality the strength the capacity to pray uh when father uh uh uh has ordained what he said men are always praying and nothing i'll see you in the morning 5 30.
