65ft Steel Beam Delivery Rolling Through Cali Snow!

[Music] it has been a long night you guys I am like 10 15 minutes down the street maybe from um my pickup it is going to be a tarp ta load that requires 8ft tarps and I have 6ft tarps on a seep deck trailer so this is just going to be wonderful we're just going to have a great time you guys and um I deadheaded 5 and a half hours back into the storm that is going to hit uh either tonight or tomorrow morning um the storm that I escaped um when I went through Montana and Idaho and whatever other state I went through that I escaped it and I made it through there without being stuck in the storm um I thought I wasn't going to be stuck in the storm but we are going to find out tomorrow so I'm not going to speak too soon um this place this hay Place says they do not load in any type of weather so um there is a chance I might be stuck here with nothing um with no load not getting paid that's just how the dice rolls that's just some of the stuff that has to happen I don't even know what I'm talking about right now I need to go to sleep but um I'm going to go to sleep and Zeke also Zeke locked me out of my truck and um it's just been it's just been crazy Zeke locked me out of my truck when I let Benji out and then I tried to go find a Cascadia owner I was like can I borrow your key I'm locked out she's like I don't think that's going to work so I had went into the truck stop with Benji I had Benji on his leash and I said I need somebody to call me a locksmith because my dog locked me out of my truck and she like was writing down her number on the the pad and stuff and I was like uh my phone is actually inside my truck and she's like oh no and she's like we actually have a worker here who was good at getting into things so I was like oh this guy brought out a whole like little Pi thing like package thing like to pick into people's cars and stuff and um he's like I've never uh broke into a big rig before but uh we're going to try this and he like grabbed onto my my truck handle like to go open my door not to open it but like to pull himself up like he's like I might need a ladder and he like tried to pull himself up like with my door handle and the door open so Zeke was like running back and forth like in the seat like barking at me and Benji outside and he unlocked the door like by the time the guy came and brought the unlocking utensils but um anyway sorry I just went on a huge rant but um I'm going to get some z's with Benji and Zeke with my peeps in the back of the oh man all right guys now I got a load of 65t beams sounds like picking up near Salt Lake City Utah so um I just got my load it is 11: a.m. right now and I'm going to get there around like 10:6 1:20 and they stop loading at 2 so hopefully these roads aren't too bad and I can drive at a good speed to get there on time but uh we're about to go check out how these roads are the storm is started already started a couple hours ago so but let's go see how these roads are guys [Music] all right guys I'm on my next pickup it's a 66 ft steel beam load I got one truck in front of me and then those two so I got a total of three trucks in front of me then I'm going to go ahead and get loaded with my load and then it's my turn you know what I'm saying all right guys right now I'm trying to set up my load levelers I call them LL because I get tongue twisted every single time I try to say load levelers okay uh I think I got them set up right now it's the first time I am setting them up that last 66t long load I did the guys really set it up for me so I'm doing it by myself here um I'm hoping this is good kind of researched a little bit but right now I got my ratchet already ready for my back LL and I'm going try to see if I did this right I'm try to tighten it down real [Music] quick [Music] all right we got the load levelers all set up now I'm about to get loaded with my LLS about to get some 65 Footers steel beams are you ready for some 65 L huh all right they us we're going to get it 3 ft off the front I did have to end up separating the load levelers farther apart CU I said this material dips in the middle which I know that I don't know why I didn't think about that so uh we did move one load leveler up into the middle section these are 65 ft steel beans probably going to throw some chains on these ones guys everybody always says stuff to me about not chaining my steel beams but um I'm going to start doing it for my safety for my safety for everybody safety my dog safety I'm to up there and put these last Edge protectors on all right guys we are locked and loaded I'm just messing with you we're done guys we are secured we got a secured load and uh we're ready to roll out guys just stopped in Springville Utah at the loves about to fill up cuz I'm kind of at a half a tank and about to head back out on the road it is traffic Dam down here I was just just took me uh an hour and a half an hour 20 minutes to drive uh 30 mil I'm 30 mil from my pickup right now it did not get far but the snow is kind of or rain is trying to give my truck the truck washer now look Bluer than it was before so I'm kind of excited about that kind of excited kind of excited all righty guys let's see where we're at Phil Mo what state am I in I'm in Utah I said what state am I in Philmore Utah um I am about 558 miles away from Bakers field California that is where I am delivering um so it's about 8 hour I'm about 8 hours away going to try to deliver tomorrow hopefully I can get her in get her unloaded but I'm about to head back out on the road stopped at the L to get the doggy some dog food I ran out of dog food that I got from home oh all right guys we just pulled pulled her over at of ta um there are some serious serious strong wind gusts over here I'm still in Utah um I am not going to continue driving it is about 40 to 60 M hour got a warning on my phone my truck is rocking back and forth like a boat and uho boy so I'm going to be safe and just park it ziki you feel that l ziki oh my goodness I'm not sure what city we're at right now but um we're about 7 hours away from Bakersfield California but this is not safe wind to drive in guys for high-profile vehicles so we're going to go ahead and call tonight yes sir zy huh all right guys showing you what city I'm in I'm in peran Utah um let's look at this wind advisory high wind war and winter storm warning we got uh let's see my camera is smudgy here we got high wind warning remains are in effect until 2:00 a.m. Wednesday Southwest winds 30 to 40 m per hour with gust up to 65 mph in southwest Utah high winds may loose the breeze may move loose the breeze damage property and cause power outages travel will be difficult due to cross RND especially for high-profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers so uh yes guys it is dangerous to drive right now so I I'm going to go ahead call it night be on the safe side and uh protect my CDL all Coast all right guys we woke up in the snow it's snowing here we got to get the hell out of here man doesn't look like the roads are bad but the winds are gone there's no strong winds anymore so at least it's just snow so we should be good we should be good safe to get out of here all right relax relax Z I know you get excited when you see the snow but relax man relax man all right we are in Paran people 18° we just woke up we are about to get out of here folks try to get out of this winter storm I shouldn't have to drive too much longer to get out of the snow so it shouldn't be that bad I'm about to get these icicles off my windshield wipers and uh roll out [Music] all right guys we are about to run out of fuel while sleeping I'm heading over to the loves right across the street to get some heel and then I'm going to head out deliver this load in Bakersfield California all right guys um to hatch a p pass was closed the mountain hatop going over to Bakersfield is shut down due the winter weather um so we are dropping down to 14 going to hit a 138 and go up to 5 from there and take five over toan pass hopefully been saying there's winter weather too my broker just called me and a DM whatever just called me and said that that is pretty bad over there too on the traffic cam so looks like either way I go it's going to be pretty bad but tah hatch P was closed so that's that so right now I am doing a little detour around to Hatchet to get to Bakers to my delivery and so I can make up my next pickup all right you guys I look like a gangster right now um for all you new subscribers I'm not a lesbian I just dress like one no offense um now I just got to get my last couple ex protectors off and undo my chains and uh then he can get unloaded he can get me unloaded so uh yeah I already took my straps off so tarpo they have seen me come here a couple of times so it is going to be not really like they're coils like they're not really like coil coils they're facing upwards um to the sky and they are on little racks and they're like wire wire I call them wire coils um so they're like little tiny ones not that big of a deal and they are tarps so they are tarped coils so uh thank God it's not that hot out right now I hope oh it's 63 it's kind of getting up there I hope it stays that's perfect weather for Tarpon weather so let's get on down the road and get all right guys we're heading out of this loves I mean loves Petro we are 98 mes away from my pickup so let's go pick her up get her to [Music] we made it you guys we made it to our next pick up to our next pick up we are at Davis Wire in Irwindale California um we are going to pick up this darn load and um tarp it is starting to rain a little bit so I this is my fourth time here so they might be having us back up into them doors like that white truck is that white freight liner um not sure yet but we're about to find out I think the forklift driver's coming for me all right guys we back up into the door I'm going to go lay my load levelers down and strap them down he said they should be good on the bottom deck so I'm going to go ahead and do that so I can get loaded all right guys this load is going to be a little different got different trailer so different load got to do things differently so this trailer there are no wenches here in front of these tool boxes I got one tool boox on the other side and one on this side no wenches so for this load I started right here right in front of my toolbox I'm have to grab my chains I'm going have to chain it I'm going to throw it over bring it through that hole back out um for this one as well so that's two ch chains I'm going to need to use got three wenches right here for these three coils and I'm pretty sure I got two wiches on the other side for these two right here and um this strap is kind of going to be sideways I don't know how I'm going to like this I got to bring it sideways down to this wench because this one would be right above the tire and that's no good um so this is going to a funky donkey load but uh we're going to get her done we're going to get her down the road safely and deliver and make this [Music] money [Music] you guys they just told me I am not lying they just told me to get my carbs on to cover the material and pull out here so they can shut this door so they can leave and go home and it is hailing outside and they want me to go TP out there it's is nut it's Hing right now so a fellow truck driver who actually works here he used to drive a flatbed for them but now he's a forklift driver um we were talking for a bit but he told me the lady went up to him and told him basically to kick me out uh and make me TP outside but he said he wasn't going to do that so I ended up being able to tarp inside um because of a nice fellow truck driver who knows how it is for us so uh yeah that was nice [Music] all right guys like I said they are rushing me out of here um I think employes are waiting to leave so uh they loaded me late I waited for them to load me and now I'm getting rushed out of here that's how it goes but uh I'm heading out now we got to close this gate so but I'm loaded and tarped what's up guys we just stopped at the TA in Eloy I did not take any video footage this morning so uh just giving you a little update I I went to sleep in Coachella California last night I woke up drove to Eloy Arizona at the TA I'm going to go in there get some sabaro I'm letting the doggies run around smell their smells uh before I go in and get some food this is going to be my 30 minute break oh I just touch a beef all right well but my tarp is holding up for for the most part I did not do this very lovingly and caringly so uh not going to don't judge my TB job but um it's holding up it's holding up today we are eating sabaro got my spaghetti got my side salad with ranch enjoying my nice scenery out the window right at the truck uh service shop all right I got me some sabar R I ate I got some leftovers I always got some leftovers from sabar row got a doggy some $20 truck stop bones what you got there you guys got some bones oh my goodness all right now we're going to head back on the road about 5 more hours to drive today and uh my shift is over all right guys my GoPro stopped working so I'm using my iPhone camera right now I stopped at the Flying J in Anthony Texas I'm going to go ahead get some Don Carbone Grill get some GB go on my truck edit a video take a shower and get some Seas all right guys that was my first time going to that specific restaurant um fast food place whatever you want to call it um and it was not a good experience I waited over an hour and a half for my food um and everybody else who got there after me was getting fed before me so I was pretty freaking pissed but uh I hope this food is good all right guys I am ending this video here cuz I am starting my 34 reset see you in the next video [Music] peace
