600,000 miles VS 1.5 million miles: Comparing 2 trucks

uh you want to start it up and turn it around and park it next to it [Music] turn around so what do we have over here um brand new unit we got we got brand new that's it no no you kidding me 15. 2015. 600 000 miles yeah yeah it's interesting okay 660 let's talk about uh specs really quick uh d13 i shift 630 cam no fairings pretty simple spec all right now we're going to talk about the difference between a million miles on the volvo this is our d12 2006 or seven is it seven seven yeah okay so we just retired that truck we'll get into it in a little bit but same same specs 630 top and uh no fairings g12 except this is a manual this is 10 speed this was a 10 speed manual and d13 is obviously uh i shift uh but so here's here's the let me show you the one we've had it on a local route the driver didn't want to give it out he really liked it and we did a lot of work to it over the years yeah we're done almost million difference but we're very close uh what you can see is the exactly the same dash uh and this one's you know holding up okay missing stuff but it held up pretty good to be honest with you for for uh 1.5 not bad to be honest if it was a fry liner i think we'd have crack dive for it for sure yeah and what else this is not bad well some panels missing here would probably i know i remember that one was caught coming off in the back and then uh the table is out but this is still holding um it's not bad it just smells like cigarettes it smells there he's seated smaller now this is pretty much what uh one point is no no all right it's super solid seats uh lost there the the arm rests you got a bolt here is it no i don't remember us putting bolts in there but the floor is solid there's nothing see this obviously sees both seats are already messed up but everything else is like you know look at the panels this one oh this one was it's not cracked here so it's loose but everything else and this one's we i don't know we put it on i have no idea it's been that truck's been running for so long this came in for oil changes and p.m but trying to think i think i bought it um 2016. so five years how much you pick it up for peanuts money maker for sure then yeah it's very very good truck um what else do we have let's let's pop the hood now that there's anything to talk about but i usually the rust here you can see on this one oh it's not that bad actually this is this so yeah i mean typical d12 i don't think they've nothing to show here but but to be honest with you the usually the door is really messed up this is not that bad you know and i really like the fact that it doesn't have less maintenance and it's for us it's easier to get under yeah that's a lot better it's so much so much easier so now let's look at the this one sounds getting ready this is not done yet we have a few more things left on it we got new shots coming on the back new shocks touch-ups uh air brakes are usually we also switch airbags these don't have to be switched we check them brakes are pretty much new um which is how we bought it where oh where's the exhaust there's no exhaust that's amazing there's no missions no emissions whatsoever it's weed burner right here and the same pretty much exactly the same so you know 10 years later almost 2007 this is 15 so this spring doesn't look that bad on the back for the 10 year difference it doesn't i know see the difference between already the frame and airbags having a lot of surface rust like this is almost better looking seriously honestly look at the this dip over here compared to that one yeah let's see it's nice and greasy too yeah yeah that's how it starts you know you're just that's how it starts and then you have they have holes in your gifts yeah and so what do we have is the rust starting now but see that's those are plugged up usually that's where the water sits it's the design and then same all the panels are here everything is here that's usually that usually falls off that's replaced so they're pretty common because when you sit on it it it you hit it well then this clipper was replaced look at that yeah let's keep this one this is actually good for parts oh pretty clean nothing missing tight uh i never seen that great and those i've never seen that i never seen it's maybe some some gun for a gun or maybe they have the there's a little access to the light i don't know it's four weapons probably it's exactly the same which is one of the good things about volvo is that it's been in production for so long not with the new one but with this yeah since 2003 two yeah early late two or literally yeah it was so oh they swapped it to the new design one you remember with the new completely new design which is very similar silver that's 190 i believe 19 years 19 18 19 17 was the first i think was 18 late 18 when they started the new chapter with the new bumper right new hood so that's it that's our million mile difference volvo now we're going to tell you what happened with the other one gloss oil drain plug and let's let's call let's call it um an unfortunate chain of events and we're just gonna retire it's already retired we're gonna replace given your truck and then we will scrap it take parts everything's pretty much good on it everything is good yeah we will keep a lot of it for parts and the hood is perfect perfect tonight it hasn't been repaired no transit yeah let's see if this one gets to 1.5 what do you think i don't think so i don't think so i say why it's going to be gone one two banks yeah awesome thank you guys for watching subscribe
