bernard is a charismatic character let you say somebody snitched on you  man yeah and that's why you locked up   possible that's what i'm gonna do what matt got a good vibe and i keep a good vibe so  it's like like chemistry you know i'm saying   like lebron james and kyrie irving we can't  never lose so bernard has a joint he tells me   that he's got it and i'm like great the only guy  with the drugs gets put in my cell and who am i   i'm the guy that's in there for growing wheat and  i was like great i fall asleep in my rack at that   point it had to be like three in the morning  i'm gonna make sure that we don't get caught   i knew we had to block up the doorway knew we had  to pump the toilet take the bed mat put it on top   of the toilet and push all the water out of it  so the trap is exposed to just the drain pipe   and it creates negative pressure and you smoke out  the toilet i know it's like damn he's smoking in   the toilet but that's the only way we get dude  without getting caught picture two adults with   their faces in the toilet and i'm continuously  flushing the toilet i was stoned i was it's like it came to me that joint traveled  to me from somebody's ass crack into my cell   what are the odds of that it's like  lightning striking i had to do it man when i first saw gabrielle i mean she she had  her glasses on and she like walked to the bed   i was like wow she is absolutely   beautiful like if we're outside i can only  imagine seeing her on outside i'd be like i was actually kind of nervous but i was kind  of you know trying to play all cool or whatever   a little crush on her she's cute but i'm  not trying to get in a relationship in here   i am a struggling addict i've been dealing with   a addiction for a little over 10 years  the next time i use i'm going to die i just think that she needs a friend like me oh wait what yeah i know yeah i got a little  crush on her she's cutie i never thought i had   a crush on somebody in jail right away yeah  she's like i'll just do one then i can come   right here come right here you're ready i  was like man this is going to be trouble i mean when i'm with gabrielle i  have tons of butterflies i can't   i can't hide it i can't fake it i definitely  would have not thought that it would have   gotten to this point are you romantically involved yes garza walks in to our cell i noticed  there was a physical deformity in his hand   i saw the knuckle was literally missing  and it was here and i tell him you need   to go to a hospital but if you don't want to i  can do what i can do and he says okay let's go   bro oh my god we started trying to  reset his hand and it was pretty grimy yeah he's pretty smart he's real smart  actually so well that worked out well for you   yeah he's a good guy so what did you what  did you do he legitimately did get this   as a result of an injury from the basketball  game yeah that's right can you go to medical   and have them look at it it's odd  it'll it'll work itself out i'm sure they're telling me basically everything  now i can tell the sheriff everything   he needs to fix the jail already  it's easy when you listen to people   who are you loyal to i'm loyal to anybody who's  loyal to me period i was like listen i didn't   he's a good guy to be around he has a lot of  similar interests that's why i like being around   him because he's not an idiot i mean i think  you relate more than a lot of people when i   went in to jail i didn't think oh i'm here to make  friends it just kind of happened mainly with garza at the request of the sheriff i didn't talk to  anybody but when i was clear the first thing i   wanted to do was talk to garza i was like i  want to set this up i want to meet the guy i would consider garza the best friend that i  made in jail what's up man come on what's up   dude you're the first person i've spoken to since  i've gotten out oh really they went completely   insane on me because i didn't snitch on you  so i want you to know that i wasn't like   and they're trying to like get people caught  up for stupid make their lives more miserable   i was trying to actually find the problems  and show people like the other side   you know in reality dude it's not that big a deal  you know it's okay man it is what it is it's a   big relief to know that he actually gets what  i did and he doesn't misconstrue it into being   like oh you were a plant you lied and all this  other stuff he gets me and so that's important   the girl julia the redhead the one they call  boston she thinks that she's the pop boss in there i'm watching tammy get really amped up  about this and while i see that i'm kind   of backing off at the same time because  i'm like oh you know i just got in jail so i went to barbara i'm like i need  to talk to you and her response was   i'm watching television who says that to somebody   if you're my friend you're going to be  like yeah okay she shot me this death glare   like you should just die and at that point i was  like okay that's where we stand and that's fine tammy really needs to just chill i think barbara's losing who she is plain and  simple almost like she's becoming an inmate   i definitely got in with the right monkeys  they take such good care of me or like a family   i'm really like falling into the system and i  do feel like an inmate i really do you're cute i just found out that sam is getting out and when   she leaves i'm really nervous  that our cell might fall apart i'm going to miss her check like i'm so mad those are the fakest girls  i have ever stay seen least then all of a   sudden they're like awesome we have all her stuff  you come into a place like this and you really   begin to understand like what's important in life  and what's not your family and your friends are   all that you have and if you don't have them you  don't have anything i'm all alone the only friend   that i can even remotely trust would be tammy is  everything all right oh yeah everything's fine   barbara was getting frustrated with her bunk mates  she came to me and she apologized tammy she can be   vulgar and kind of like over the top at first  it kind of scared me but now i realize that's   just who she is tammy's actually been pretty  nice to me lately so water under the bridge   barbara and i have worked out our stuff  and are fine we're great thank goodness i want to get to know these women because  i want to understand my daughter better   now i think that's my focus if i had to say that there was that one  person right now that i'm kind of feeling   a little bit comfortable with i will never say the  word trust but having a little comfort in her and   it would be stephanie she is dealing with a lot of  the same issues that my daughter's dealing with so   yeah i'm gonna get to know her better  she's a good person she's a strong   woman her daughter's been in prison for over  three years and she never really understood   where her daughter was coming from and now  with just her being here for a couple weeks   like she gets it stephanie leonard is my funky  and i like her i am finally starting to see   a lot of her thought process that i really  never connected to before every time we   took a shower it would literally flood all  the way over here would stay wet and so um   stephanie what she did was she created a way  to hang our shower curtain isn't that cool i'm   talking about you where are you supposed to  be coming come here come here she's the one   you're here it's not me it's you here's our here's  here's our genius right here that we love her yeah   i didn't think i would ever trust anybody in jail  but i think i trust her i think i trust stephanie get your stuff best movie ever bye guys bye you
