6 Ways to Fold Socks

[Music] do you have a drawer full of jumbled socks save time trying to find a matching pair by folding your socks in one of these simple ways you'll not only be able to find a pair that you want but it also saves space in your drawer the first method I'll show you is the square method this method is great for keeping your drawer organized and it makes it easy to find the colors you need first place one sock on a flat surface with the heel up then place the matching sock across the first sock also with the heel up making a cross shape flip the bottom socks toe up and over and tuck it into the other side then fold over the cuff after that do you do the same thing to the other sock so first the toe over and tuck it in and then the cuff you should now have a square shape with two cuffs sticking out from there you tuck in the first cuff and then you take the second cuff and tuck it into the little pocket and that gives you a nice little square the next method I'll show you is the single fold method this method is super easy it works great if you're in a hurry and if you want to stack your socks in your drawer first lay both socks on a flat surface with one sock on top of the other then grab both socks by the cuff and fold them over in half so that the cuffs are now on top of the toes done you [Music] the next method is the roll method this method is quick but the socks don't stay together as well as in some of the other methods it does however keep your sock cuffs from getting stretched out start by laying both socks on a flat surface with one sock on top of the other next roll the socks from the toes up you'll want to keep them tight so that they stay together and that's all there is to it next we have the military method you will end up with a tight roll that will stay together really well this method is an excellent space saver start by laying both socks on a flat surface with one sock on top of the other then roll the socks tightly from the toes up when you reach the top pull the outer cuff behind and up and over around the whole roll tuck in any extra pieces that are sticking out and then you'll have a nice tight roll the fold and tuck method is similar to the square method and is great for staying organized labor thoughts on a flat surface with one sock on top of the other this time with the heels facing up next fold the cuff ends over about halfway from here take the toe ends fold them over to meet the cuffs and tuck the toes into the top cuff these are great for stacking you finally we have the flip and tuck method this method will not make your sock drawer as organized as some of the others but it is a quick way to keep the pairs together lay both socks on a flat surface with one sock on top of the other then grab the top cuff and flip it inside out while tucking both socks about halfway into it the toes should be dangling outside of the tuck that's all there is to it we encourage you to find the best sock folding method for you your method should fit your personality and your schedule just remember to keep those sock pairs together thanks for watching we hope this helps keep your sock drawer organized and as always make your family a close-knit family [Music]
