[Music] i want to start this video off by saying thank you to tom keaney for joining us on patreon [Applause] [Music] good morning big pooch good morning big pooch good morning good morning good morning from this abandoned truck stop i think it's a i think it's a united but anyway the trucks just keep coming open for business or not and that's because it's a great place to park yesterday i did my laundry right over here there's a laundromat right there excellent there's also a really nice shade structure i spent five hours underneath the shade out of the sun there editing the last video you guys saw and then get this there's even a walmart right over here so i did some shopping so yeah this is an excellent location we're here in the fine town of winslow arizona what is there to do in winslow arizona well i'm gonna tell you [Music] one thing i guess you could be doing is you just could be standing on a corner in winslow arizona such a fine sight to see there's an old dude in a orange tacoma slowing down to take a look at me oh yeah take it easy this is actually an eagles monument here for the song take it easy it's pretty cool it's quite a tourist destination i had to wait quite a while to get this clip check it out so [Music] you could also get a car wash there's there's just no point though [Music] a vacuum though not something i could use you could also stop by the old maverick get some fuel for 314 a gallon [Music] you can have an omelette in a rural area right by a crick [Music] you can take a shower in clear creek which is what we're gonna do right now [Music] [Music] oh [Music] taking a shower is just such a treat not only that but taking one in a creek that's a real privilege this is one of the coolest places i've been in a while probably one of the coolest rivers i've seen in arizona so far clear creek this place is amazing it's like it's like if the colorado river and lake powell had a baby that would be this place super cold but pretty awesome what do you think of it rex i know you're not much of a swimmer but we're getting there we're getting there right well that's a bunch of stuff you can do here in the city of winslow i'll leave you guys with a little history about winslow no one knows for sure but it's either named after edward winslow a railroad businessman slash tycoon mogul or tom winslow a good old prospector in the area nobody knows locals like to call it winds blow because the winds get pretty intense here on the regular and it's basically just a town that was made famous by route 66 it's also a railroad town uh the eagles you know they made a song about it so everyone knows taking it easy by the eagles so yeah that's pretty much all i got for you guys we're gonna keep it moving and head on out of here don't forget to leave a like on this video i would greatly appreciate it and if you enjoyed it it'll help other people find it more easily also don't forget that it's shitty and the city t-shirts are available on teespring link in the description [Music] thank you so much for watching i really appreciate you guys and i'll see you next time winds blow [Music] you
