well limited sunshine today and that'll be the case this weekend as well but the main weather news is is going to warm up and be windy let's take a look ahead 13 weather ball is red for your saturday and this view sponsored by countryside greenhouse of allendale warmer today we did exceed our average high of 39 by hitting 42 here in grand rapids upper 30s north low 40s to the south we did forecast 41 today that's another day within three degrees of our forecast high we've done that three days in a row temperatures tonight will not be anywhere near as cold as the last couple of nights we'll stay in the low 30s and then rapidly climb into the low 60s it will not be windy during the day tomorrow it will be windy tomorrow night you can see a high wind watch in effect for sunday morning at 1 am just after midnight saturday night through the noon hour on a sunday because we're expecting very strong winds to come on through this is our hour-by-hour starting saturday evening winds gusting to 20 plus miles per hour already but by midnight when that watch gets in effect it's going to be gusting to 40 plus miles per hour a couple of spots through here could be around 45 plus through the middle of the day on sunday and then the winds dramatically drop off in the afternoon so this will be a very quick hitting system in terms of our weather we're going to see maybe a couple of sprinkles during the day tomorrow that would be it the real active weather will be coming overnight between about 9 p.m and 7 a.m this is 11 p.m saturday night and this is around 7 a.m on sunday so some scattered showers not rule out a possible thunder but the skies clear then later in the day on sunday this is sunday night you can see an area of some snow coming up from the south as you wake up in the morning on monday there'll be snow falling and it will fall most of the day and it will leave behind a blanket of white this is all rain from saturday night still thinking about a quarter of an inch maybe a half an inch up in the ludington area and then snow on monday this is monday morning see not a lot maybe a quarter of an inch here in grand rapids but already an inch down toward kalamazoo and battle creek just about everyone may end up with an inch of snow on monday long range outlook every friday we come out with that two-week outlook from the 19th through the first of april we're slipping back into higher chances for cooler weather second half of march and a little bit higher chance that we could see more precipitation may include some snow you never know forecast for tomorrow just becoming mostly cloudy mid 50s from heart and lunnington north 60 in muskegon 63 in holland these are not near record highs however mid 50s along u.s 10 60 in fremont 61 in greenville and from grand rapids southward we'll be in the low and mid 60s maybe 69 down in kalamazoo again that is still a few degrees shy of a record high 13 on your side forecast we'll fall from 56 after midnight on sunday to 36 by late in the day that'll be our target we'll only hit 36 on monday as that snow continues but then it rapidly ends lots of sunshine and snow melting weather tuesday wednesday and even on into thursday there may be a wintry mix on friday next week some rain maybe changing to some snow overnight and then some lake effect snow on saturday morning next weekend 30 the following sunday but back up into the 40s the following monday
