Well, Mother Nature will be bringing everything but the kitchen sink over the course of this weekend here around West Michigan. It will feel like spring over the course of this afternoon and then we're back to winter weather, especially by the end of this weekend into the start of this upcoming workweek. Let's take a look at our weather timeline the next few days. Today, it will be warm. Many of us will climb over 60 degrees. Yes, a bit breezy out there, but that's a big reason why we do climb into the lower, even middle 60s in our warmest locations tonight. The wind really picks up, and we do have the chance of a few showers, even a few thunderstorms. Then on Sunday, the wind continues, especially in the morning. It will be very gusty out there and then following this weekend we have some snow in the forecast for your Monday, but let's start off. With the warmer temperatures, these are our forecasted high temperatures on this Saturday. Many of us surge well into the 60s off a Southwind look at I-94. There could be a few places Kalamazoo Battle Creek to the Michigan State border that will try to inch towards 70 degrees. Today. The only exception to the warm air US 10 you might be more stuck in the 50s as the day goes on. But for many of us here at home, we're in the 60s. Today, big change arrives. However, tomorrow tonight it remains warm. We're in the 50s tonight, but then these numbers crash tomorrow. We're back into the 30s with a rather breezy win for your Sunday now 13 weather ball. Today obviously is solid red because of those warmer temperatures. 13 weather all brought to you by countryside Greenhouse of Allendale. Let's talk why this is happening. Strengthening low pressure, which is currently in the southern Plains, will work into the upper Great Lakes over the course of this weekend. This will allow a warm front to nose right into our neck of the woods. It allows that warm air to pump into West Michigan along with a bit of a breeze out of the South. Then the weather starts to be a little bit more in the wild side tonight into tomorrow as this strong cold front plows through the area. This will this cold front will arrive late tonight into tomorrow. We'll have a few showers, few thunderstorms tonight and then those windy conditions take over for late tonight into tomorrow morning as this cold front really scoots off to the east. And then that cooler air fills in for your Sunday. Let's talk about the wind because I think that's the most impactful part of this forecast today. A bit of a breeze about. 20 some gusts 25 mph, but the wind really ramps up tonight. Some gusts over 40 mph and by tomorrow morning I think we're going to have wind gusts at times over 50 mph, and then the wind will slowly wane as we go throughout the daylight hours tomorrow, and you can see those top wind gusts short window of time, late tonight into tomorrow morning, but still significant enough for the National Weather Service to issue a highwind watch from around midnight to noon tomorrow. So something to keep in mind. I know it's a nice day today. You might want to bring out some loose objects in the yard. If you do, make sure to bring them back inside because they will be gone from your yard by the end of tonight into tomorrow morning. Better look hour by hour. Again today, very pleasant. A little bit of filtered sunshine. Warm 60s by this afternoon. Here comes the chance of a few showers, even a few thunderstorms late this evening into tonight. Really 10:00 o'clock onward tonight is when we have the chance of those showers. A few thunderstorms and then tomorrow a fairly dry day. Yes, temperatures will be falling into the 30s. It will be very windy, but we will end Sunday with some sunshine, so not too bad of a day if you're. Wondering if it's going to be raining or even snowing for your Sunday last thing? Severe weather chance. We do have a severe weather chance with those thunderstorms tonight because of all the wind around it won't take much for any rogue thunderstorm to cause some strong wind gusts on the order of 50 to 60 mph. So something we still need to keep in mind as we go into tonight with that shower and thunderstorm chance. Today, however, partly cloudy skies temperatures soaring well into the 50s, if not even well into the lower 60s by this afternoon. Yeah, it's a bit breezy out there, but the wind won't turn. Mean until late tonight into tomorrow morning? Look at some of these numbers by I 9469 at Kalamazoo 68 at Battle Creek. The rest of your 13 on your side. 10 day outlook. It's all about the warmth today. The win tonight and tomorrow morning and then yes, the chance of snow on Monday. Don't expect too much in the way of snow, about an inch or two at best and then more sunshine finally returns to the forecast this upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday.
