specifically for a client to travel around in and live in comfortably with their four cats the small house sits on top of a 28 feet long purpose-built movable roots trailer the exterior features a retractable awning and the structure itself is made from lightweight materials making it easy for the client and their pets to move quickly and frequently from one location to another the unique interior separates a bathroom from the kitchen and living areas it features a master bedroom split loft with plenty of standing room at the foot of the king-size bed [Music] there's also a bump out window seat catwalk area bathroom with incinelette toilet and a walk-in shower with glass doors and tile there's definitely enough room to swing a cat in this house although we'd never recommend actually doing that of course [Music] one city known for its tiny living spaces and ingenious solutions is tokyo in japan take this tiny house designed by husaka takeshi as a prime example the japanese architect specializes in designing mini-sized houses this new creation was built for a couple and is located in the heart of tokyo it covers a floor area of 18 square meters which is smaller than many people's garages still it's big enough to fit a collection of 300 bucks 300 vinyl records a 2-door refrigerator and much more two curved skylights help to alleviate any feelings of claustrophobia by letting in natural light all day round there's also an outdoor bath as for what the current owner thinks of their minuscule abode everything in the house is smaller than the regular size but they're just as easy to use and that makes me very happy with my life moving on literally is this 24 foot custom tiny house on wheels called clover it is the brainchild of ohio's modern tiny living and is an impressive variation of their extremely popular cocosing model clover is outfitted with a gourmet kitchen complete with a four burner cooktop convection oven full size refrigerator and washer dryer combo unit there's also a convenient work slash dining area relaxation is never a problem in this cozy home since it comes equipped with a full-sized bath and loft that fits a king-sized bed [Music] the social area which transforms into a king-sized bed can easily sit six people plus there's an abundance of drawers and under-seat compartments for storage elegant wooden walls and a concrete countertop make for a perfect blend of both modern and rustic living clover really is a majestic tiny home our fourth entry is another mobile unit created by a man named steve it is a curvy convertible caravan which he calls his unity wagon steve made it while working in the beautiful natural surroundings of yandoi farm near melbourne in australia along with volunteers he was helping to transform a dried-up ranch into an organic farm at the same time though he decided to build something homely where he could rest at night but that could also later be used by others who wish to visit in his own words i decided to make my own version of a covered wagon with a pulley system that made it easy to roll the canvas all the way up and a strap that pulls it back down i had never seen this done before but it sure worked well in my head the creator adds that the wagon will mostly live on the farm with plans to make it available to visitors looking for a fancy farm stay [Music] the unity wagon isn't steve's first venture into the world of tiny homes though while working on an organic mango farm in thailand he built a little dome home for himself the curved building incorporates many beautiful natural materials and the inside is deceptively spacious there's a bathroom area complete with a sink and shower a small kitchen and plenty of areas to sit and soak up the sun [Music] [Music] [Music] there's even an upper level accessible by some outdoor steps incredibly the dome home costs steve less than nine thousand dollars to build and after getting an overwhelming amount of positive feedback he now works with his dome building friend to provide inspiration designs tools and training to others steve's work is an incredible example of how smart design can not only provide solutions to problems but inspire others to take up the mantle and get creative themselves [Music] and last but by no means least take a look at this amazing pop-up home named the boxable casita it comes complete straight out of the box and can be set up and ready to go in just one day once the installation is complete you'll have access to a full-size kitchen with a large fridge double sink oven dishwasher microwave and shaker cabinetry the bathroom is a decent size too fitted with a deep shower and tub vessel sink large counter backlit mirror and a sliding glass barn door as for the living space the casita has 375 square feet of it along with 9 feet six-inch ceilings and huge doors and windows there's even room for a built-in ironing center plus a washer and dryer your house in a box comes with heating and air conditioning as standard with the added benefit that your utility bills will be ultra low that's because insulation technology and included led lighting saves you money each and every day these mini homes are currently available for forty nine thousand five hundred dollars or two hundred and fifty dollars per month sounds like a bargain to me which of these
