5020 pushing trees and 4640 culivating!!

hey guys how's she going today well it's a finally uh gonna be a nice day out here today I think yesterday it was sunny but really windy and really quite cool because of the wind and the day before that it was really cloudy and drizzly and just shitty Oh exactly but today it's sunny and supposed to get up to about plus 10 or 12 I think anyways on what the hell that is an American but either way a nice day so I'm just following Antoine a few miles south and then east of home here one of his half sections there's a whole bunch of deadfall trees that fell out and he's gonna push them back into the sloughs before we go out there and peril that was on his canola you guys remember last fall when we were combining there but there's quite a few trees at it blowing out in a storm last summer and then there's a bunch over the winter again that fell down so he's gonna go shove all that back into the slough and then the other dead ones that are ready to fall knock them down and shove them in so that's what he's gonna be up to this morning and I got the 8:35 and the vertical air cedar out and I'm gonna work on that and then after dinner we're gonna go over I brought the 46:40 out to grandpa's yes I tried to do a little bit of disking on the soybean stubble that we never got done last fall and it was a little bit it was good on the hills and like probably 90% of the field was good to go but if he got into a low spot or a big flat it wasn't muddy but it was sticky and I would try to plug up in the gangs so I'm gonna give that a few more days because it's supposed to be nice out here and if it doesn't rain or anything dumb I think on Tuesday it'll be perfect so we're gonna bring the 46 home and I'm gonna bring home the 36 foot elevator with the 16 inch sweeps on it and we're gonna go through that cultivator and hook it up on the 35 because I'm gonna use that where we tried to arrow and only go maybe an inch deep and smooth off those ridges at the disk mates oh and I might also try it with the 46 40 just to see how much black smoke we can make with her but anyway that's later on this afternoon so I guess I'll talk to you guys here and we get down to Antoine's field isn't it amazing what a couple matches will do it's kind of nice to burn these cattails off we tried last fall but it was way too wet you couldn't get them to burn so I don't even have a torch right now like I said I was just using matches it's nice to get that friggin stuff to burn off because you can't really do anything else with it once it gets dead and thick like that in there and then more grow in between it and the Sun and the wind can never get through it to dry it up so one quick burn like that clears it up and then usually if you leave your sit for a while no wind and the Sun can get on it you can get in there with a disc and firm that usually so see on this side here last fall I was trying to swath it and I just couldn't I couldn't get it to burn I couldn't get it to swath of either so I'm I might come back with a torch here now that I see that it actually wants to burn and there'll be a hell of a lot easier than trying to use the matches like that but anyway I thought I'd show you a nice little fire everyone likes to watch cattails burger whoo shoo old Chevy Jew oh yeah the Chinese mud payers Goddard no problem what was I even worried about so yeah he's just pushing all that dead back a little ways boy she's greasy here hopefully water leech and on the side of the hill anyway so he's gonna go around and burn all that or burn all I push all that in and that'll probably be the rest of his day anyways so I guess I'm gonna head back to the yard and maybe come back with a torch here in a little while we'll see what happens I let's see how the rest of the day goes [Music] drive it up to the shop there and then we'll be laughing I guess we'll talk to here in a minute all right I just wanna certain 246 forties dominance to anything else so this is 36 feet 16 inch shovels about two and a half inches deep it's all right now we're in c1 which is about five miles an hour but she wants more just like a dream 46 says is there something behind me I can't L put 50 feet behind me give me a real goddamn challenge well we're in the 4440 no cause haven't won without pushing trees like we said and he found a spot that was just a little bit too damp yet so we're gonna go rescue night so I got her parked in the yard I'm gonna head home here and get back out here again tomorrow hopefully they're calling for rain I'm hoping there isn't because I'd like to get all this color faded so I've got another 60 soul acres to go hate yeah about 60 acres to go so hopefully it the weather holds out but I guess if not I've got other stuff to work on so either way I guess I'll talk to
