$50,000/Night Underwater Maldives Villa Tour | Was this vacation worth it??

what's up you guys and welcome back to my channel my name is chitty ashley and i am here in the maldives on vacation staying at the most gorgeous resort at the conrad rangali islands i'm staying at the maraca suite and i wanted to do a full hotel room tour because this is epic and of course this video is not sponsored so i'm gonna give you guys my true thoughts and opinions and whether this living space and this villa is massive first of all that was my first impression i was literally lost for words with how huge a space was and how gorgeous i mean this is literally the height of luxury and a one-of-a-kind property honestly so i'm super excited to be staying here i'm here with bae we are on vacation we have been working insanely hard and so this is really like the perfect vacation which was actually booked two years ago and we were not able to make it and so i'm so excited and i feel so blessed to be here right now so yeah we're now right now in the living room area and of course there's a small living room here and another living room here a tv a bar area a dining space and then there's actually another lounger area behind me that shows all the corals and the sea and then you have a huge huge patio with a swimming pool and a relaxation area outside i'm really excited to show you guys everything so we're gonna walk i'm gonna walk this way into the master bedroom actually the master bedroom ride upstairs on the first floor and there's another massive bedroom on the second floor submerged 16 feet deep in the indian ocean guys it is a live aquarium and you guys are gonna be blown away but i'm even blown away by the room upstairs i think we might do one night downstairs one night up here because the views are insane and you have obviously a king size bed there's two other rooms um and one of the rooms actually has like twin beds so if you have kids uh perfect for them um and we're gonna go over to the master bathroom the bedroom overlooks the balcony area and you can actually just see all the fish i actually saw turtles earlier so there's so much amazing wildlife here right around the villa right around the property which is just really cool if you are a nature lover this is perfect for you let's walk over to master bathroom on the first floor and my first thought is damn okay this is absolutely incredible you have a stone bathtub floor-to-ceiling windows and doors and guys one thing i will say is the maldives is better than it looks on instagram i have to say that one of the places that absolutely looks just like the photos and even better and that's something that really surprised me the water is that blue the sand is that white and that's something that really really took my breath away from the moment we landed on the island and i've just been blown away every single time and actually my first night here i was so scared to wake up because i was like oh my god i can't believe that this is real so i'm super super excited and just you know this whole vacation has been absolutely amazing conrad has been amazing as well oh my god this is breathtaking like this is literally my ideal vacation i don't want to see anyone i don't want to talk to anyone i don't want to interact with people i just want to enjoy uh peace and privacy and so if you are someone like me who loves that then this is definitely perfect for you so right now i'm in the massive bathroom upstairs and you have this bathtub i think this is made out of stone really gorgeous overlooking again the ocean and i love the floor-to-ceiling windows and doors and all of them face the front with the balcony as well so this is just really gorgeous then of course you're gonna walk over to the rain shower get a load of this shower head though like literally huge huge and then you have this toilet i don't care how many i don't care how many bathrooms i stay in i love an automated toilet like it's an experience and if you don't got an automated toilet in your hotel then where did you really stay i'm joking okay so in the master bathroom i'm gonna walk now to the sink area i've showed you guys the shower the bathtub and the toilet and now i'm gonna walk you guys to the sink and to the wardrobe let's go all right so we are walking through the master bathroom through the wardrobe and heading over to the second bedroom on the first floor but get into the skylight and how much light gets into the bathroom i really feel like i'm outdoors that's one thing i would say i feel like i'm outdoors and there's mirrors everywhere and if you love a good vacay you know you got to have the mirrors you got to have those outfit checks so i love the layout of the bathroom let's walk over now to uh the second bedroom that i want to show you guys this is a closet so lots of closet space as i said um and then we're gonna take the door and head over now to the second bedroom so this is the guest bedroom and as i said before it has twin beds so perfect for kids perfect for extra guests and the guest bedroom actually leads outside into the gym area and some storage spaces which i'll show you guys really quickly but i really love how the villa has everything you need so you really don't have to leave literally we haven't left i'm staying for how much money you have to pay you're gonna stay your ass right here so we're here enjoying the villa there's a fitness center you can walk right from this bedroom over there so i want to show that to you guys of course there's a bathroom as well so really nice bathroom marble features and a nice shower as well uh in this bedroom and then we're gonna walk over now to the outdoor area all right so we are now at the gym i just wanted to show you guys this place has a gym overlooking the ocean as well really nicely air conditioned in here and perfect if you're one of those fitness bus that likes to work out on vacation which is not me but i wanted to show you guys that nevertheless and then of course this property and the conrad hotel has 12 different restaurants so if you don't want to eat here there's so many amazing restaurants they actually have an underwater restaurant uh here on site and then they have a bunch of other restaurants like the rangali bar and different themes with different cuisines and high-end chefs so i really like that we've tried i believe it's two different restaurants so far and there are a few others that we would like to check out so i like that different themes different vibes some are more formal some are less formal so i really i really have enjoyed the food so far now i want to show you guys really quickly the dining space all right so we are now in the dining space of course the table is only set for two we don't got no guests but um really nice setting and then of course the dining area looks out into the outdoor lounge space and looks out into the long jetty that leads you into the property so one thing i really love about this villa it is completely removed and then you have this long dramatic bridge that leads into the property and so you guys can see that right here from the dining table so i love that there's you know views 360 views in every single room and every space you really get to enjoy the views of the indian ocean the blue blue blue water and all the different shades and hues um of that um and now i want to show you guys the outdoor space the private pool the lounge space let's go all right so we are now on the deck from the living room space now where the private pool is lounger and outdoor space and overlooking again the indian ocean there's so much fish and we're about to go snorkeling very soon i'm gonna face my fear um but yeah i mean this place is absolutely insane and you really don't see any sign of life all around there's an outdoor shower there's loungers and i'm about to be sipping some cocktails right after after this video so this is just really really cool um and there are sharks here in the maldives but uh what we've been told what we've been told is that the sharks here are harmless and they're quite friendly or they don't like people so they're gonna run away so let's hope that's true if not you'll be hearing from me or not all right guys so we are now officially heading downstairs to the underwater suite of course i had to do an outfit change for the occasion i'm so excited to show you guys this i'm gonna stop talking let's go all right so you can either take the stairs or you can take the elevator i'm gonna take the elevator and i'll see you guys on the ground floor let's go see you guys downstairs [Music] all right guys so we are now in the underwater part of the maraca villa here at the conrad hotel and this for me is top five experiences and you guys at the beginning of the video i said i would let you know is this worth the money and i will say if you got it totally worth it i mean this is a bucket list experience it experience and honestly you don't get this anywhere else in the world so i'm really really loving it i want to show you guys first the bathroom and then i'm going to show you guys the living room and the bedroom so let's go all right so now i'm in the bathroom as you can see his and her sinks there's a shower as well and you're literally greeted by fish the vanity mirror you can pull it out when you want to use it right and then you can actually pull it back and get a view of the ocean again i love love love this experience and get into this toilet okay like this makes doing your business that that much more fun like this is crazy and you can guys you guys can see all the fish all the coral all the marine life from the bathroom this is just breath breath breath taking um wow wow so yeah i'm walking through now from the bathroom i showed you guys the vanity area there's a shower as well and again with the shower you're literally under the shower head looking right into the ocean this is insane like this is insane and then you're gonna walk from the bathroom and we're gonna head over now to the bedroom all right guys so now we are in the main bedroom area and the entire structure here underwater is about a hundred square feet and or square meters and um this whole structure was actually built in singapore and then transported all the way over here to maldives and as i said before it cost over 15 million dollars to build this entire property so you guys you can tell there's a lot of time a lot of detail a lot of effort that has gone into this and it's actually made of acrylic so you get to enjoy the fish the marine life this is absolutely insane and i'm just gonna keep saying that because even now looking around i'm just like wow the pictures don't do it justice it's common here it's very cool as well and there's actually some speakers and it's just a good vibe so i'm really excited about it so this is the bedroom area and they did like a little setup here as well for us which is really cute um and now i want to show you guys the seating area here so let's go all right so i want to show you guys from the bedroom over here to the living space and i love how they've done this there's no tvs here in this section of the property it's really just simple and you get to really enjoy the marine life the fish and this is like the show right here um so this is just insane and if you love uh the ocean this is as close and as good as it's gonna get so i really love how they've done it you can just sit here relax enjoy the experience enjoy the room again there's a butler service there's a chef so you can have food brought right here to the villa or you can go and enjoy some of the restaurants that they have here as well on the island and yeah i mean i'm really excited about it we're about to have the most epic few days relaxing i think you have to book a minimum of four nights typically but um it also depends on the season that you book of course uh the price ranges anywhere from thirty thousand to fifty thousand dollars um and of course high season as well it can go higher um but really really epic like the most epic hotel i've ever been to and the most epic suite that i've been to and hopefully i'll be able to show you guys some more cool properties so definitely make sure that you guys comment you like you subscribe tell guys have enjoyed all right guys so we're coming to the end of our maldives vacation and it has been such an incredible experience and honestly when you talk about ultimate luxury it really doesn't get any much better than this the maraca was absolutely amazing and before i talked about you know value for money and honestly if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind bucket list experience which we were then this was definitely it i mean you're not gonna find an underwater suite like this and with this caliber anywhere else in the world and so we had the most incredible time again you have 24 7 staff private chef private jib you really don't have to leave your villa and of course you know i didn't leave except for dinner but you know it's just such an incredible experience and definitely definitely for me uh one of a kind worth it if you have um that disposable income to spend on a vacation like that but then if you don't there are many many budget options available across the maldives in terms of here at the conrad villas do start from around a thousand five hundred dollars a night ranging till about three thousand dollars a night uh depending on the villa that you pick right so if you want a villa with a pool it's going to be more expensive than a villa without a pool generally the maldives is one of those more pricey destinations perfect for honeymoon getaways perfect for you know celebrations and if you're looking for that luxury vacation where you want to splurge uh a little bit more so um yeah it's definitely pricey in terms of getting here you're gonna have to get a private seaplane and that tends to be about six to seven hundred dollars per person just to actually get from the airport to your villa and so you know those are the type of things that you need to budget for uh if you're thinking about coming to the maldives and then of course my number one tip if you're coming to the maldives is definitely find and book a resort that has amazing amazing amazing cuisine uh again you're gonna be stuck on an island and there's no uh you know ubereats there's no food delivery there's no restaurants aside from the ones that are at the resort and so you're going to want to make sure that whatever resort you book has incredible food options the one the ones here at the conrad there are about 12 different restaurants so you're definitely spoiled for choice there's chinese food there's maldivian food there's indian food there's buffets and high-end and low-end styles of cuisine so i really really like that and of course we packed our own snacks okay we was not about to be paying those crazy prices for snacks uh so we brought our own snacks with us um but yeah so those are some of my tips one thing i love about the conrad and we actually got to experience different styles of villas here so we did the maraca for a few nights and then we also did the beach front villas and those were absolutely incredible if you're coming to the maldives you get to decide between a beachfront villa and an over water villa for me they're equally as beautiful and it really just depends on what you're specifically looking for i really love the beach from villas walking from your property right onto the white sand beach and crystal clear waters that was amazing and if you're someone who is not a good swimmer and if you're someone who isn't really all into that snorkeling then a beach villa would definitely be an amazing option you still get that same amount of luxury and you really get to enjoy uh the beautiful beaches here in maldives and then of course we also stayed at the grand reef villa here at the conrad and that was also absolutely amazing you're over water the water is crystal blue um i mean wow no filter needed it was absolutely amazing um and there's so much space as well which was something that i was like actually surprised about so much space and you can really just dive from your deck over into the ocean if you love snorkeling if you love marine life the grand the grand water villas are definitely something to consider and really the staple when you think about travel to the maldives um you know i always think about those over water village you don't see them uh in many destinations around the world and so it's definitely like a bucket list item to be able to do that in terms of travel maldives is perfect for honeymoons and couples getaways but i also saw a lot of families which was really cool and if you have little kids staying in a beautiful resort is definitely a good option because there's so much that they can do in terms of the beach and activities there's staff that can babysit while you lounge a little bit and relax so there's definitely options for families as well and that was something that i was really surprised about so you know with maldives you get the options for the couples and the honeymoons and then you also get the family vacation all right guys so we're
