The Ritz-Carlton Maldives - Overwater Villa TOUR

[Music] [Music] hey guys and welcome to another laura and nicholas video today we are at the ritz carlton here in the maldives where we'll be staying for the next few nights and we thought the first thing we have to do is to show you this incredible villa because the design is just so unique it's built in a circle and it looks incredible let's show you around the first thing you see when you enter this villa is this dining table seating area and the tv so you can use this corner just to enjoy the tv to have lunch to have dinner just to relax a little bit and as you can see we received some welcome immunities so we got some cookies and some fruit and we also got a bottle of bubbles and then if we walk further over here you have the mini bar so what's really cool here at ritz carlton is everything is complementary and get refilled every day except for alcoholic beverages on the top here you can find different alcoholic beverages and you can make your own cocktails there's even some books here to make your own cocktails there's coffee and tea there's even fresh nuts and cookies there's water there's tea and in here there's some extra snacks as well so these are complementary as well and then over here you have some cups and in here there's the fridge so again over here as well everything is complementary except for alcoholic beverages then if we walk further this is where you have the bed and next to the bed there is a telephone as well so you can just press one button and then you will get your butler on the line and you can ask for anything you might need so on the other side of the bed we have a speaker so you can take this speaker with you as well to the beach or anything because it's just based on bluetooth so you can take it literally anywhere if you want then over here you have the bathtub so for some it might look a little bit weird to have that place in the middle of the living room but we think it's an awesome feature because it's a very aesthetic bathtub and from in the bottom you have an incredible view over the ocean and the pool which takes us to the next part this outdoor area so as we already sat the villas are made in circles so they're round so that's why you have an incredible view over the ocean from actually each side they also have a lot of privacy here so you have the big pool it's a very very big infinity pool you have and again everything is in circles we also have a round sunbath and then if you walk a little bit further oh look another circle another circle so outside here as well you have an area where you can dine or have lunch if you're like ordering in villa dining or if you just want to relax there's nice shade as well over here and then on this side you can take these stairs down where you have a little net which is something very iconic in the maldives you have a net in almost every over water villa where you can just relax and be close to the ocean and then from there there's stairs as well that just takes you right into the ocean we haven't snorkeled yet because we just arrived but apparently snorkeling is amazing right here in front of the villa another thing we really like about these over water villas is that you have completely unobstructed views so you don't see any islands in france you don't see any other villas which i think is a huge plus absolutely if you like privacy and if you like unobstructed views exactly then let's go take a look at the showers so right here you have the outdoor shower so again from in the shower you can watch the ocean because the wood is placed so that you can have a look at the ocean but the other villa right beside us they can't see you so i think this is a very very cool feature as well so you can literally stand here and watch the ocean and you won't have anyone watching you then there is an indoor shower as well obviously for the people who don't like stay outdoor showers so if you just came from outside of the ocean or you came from out of the pool you can just walk straight to the shower you don't have to make your villa completely wet to get to the shower and then from here you enter the dressing so again the dressing and the double sink like this is part of the room because obviously bathtub is over there as we already told you so here you have a double sink and you have all your amenities here like hair brush dental kit all the standard amenities everything is from bamford which is a uk brand and over here you have your dressing so there's tons of space we haven't unpacked yet so we place our suitcase over here there's plenty of drawers and there's enough space just to place all your clothes there's life vests as well for those who need it while snorkeling or swimming there's hats both for the ladies for the men there's slippers and you have a beach bag over here as well so there's a ritz carlton beach back if you want to use that while staying here and again as i said this is the hat for the ladies and then over here you have some shoe trees as well so on this side you have a toilet which is in a separate room something we like as well and it's a fancy toilet so for those who've been to some parts in the world they're already familiar with this we won't get go into detail but it's just that you can adjust the temperature and everything and something else i really like about the dressing and the bathroom that there's natural light coming in from the ceiling which i think is really nice and then another thing i just want to tell you is that you can open this completely so this is just all like sliding windows sliding doors so you can completely close it and if you want you can leave it open like we like we love that because that way you have like the whole space it feels like you're outdoors while you're actually in nurse i think this is amazing and i think this was our tour so we really hope you liked it and make sure to subscribe if you don't want to miss all our upcoming
