feast your eyes this is an amazing amazing grab bag i did not expect it to be this good [Music] hey guys mandir here with coins cards and collectibles and today i'm going to show you how i put together a 50 coin grab bag that's right folks you heard that correct this is going to be a 50 coin grab bag exchange the first part of this video is going to be me putting together the grab bag that i'll be sending out and the other half of the video will be me opening the one that i received well without further ado let's get to it all right the first thing we're going to talk about is foreign foreign to the u.s i should say so what i have here is a little velvety pouch from the world famous gold and silver pawn shop that would be the same pawn shop that you would see in the tv show pawn stars and i have a fair amount of world coinage some from germany a couple tokens here and there a large scent from canada and even this australian six pence which is ninety two and a half percent silver i love me some sterling silver coinage you don't find a lot of them these days while we're on the topic of foreign let's talk about foreign currency this time i chose to go with only one country this time from india so i have a one rupee a two rupee a 5 rupee 10 rupee 50 rupee and 100 would be banknote now all of these have very interesting color schematics anti-counterfeiting measures different ink laden techniques and different iconography that is very important symbolism to the state government of india well let's finally move over to the u.s and i'm gonna start with a roll of wheat pennies now i sell these rolls of wheat pennies on my ebay store and the way these are typically put together is i'll get sacks of about thousand wheat pennies and then i'll also get sacks of wheat pennies that are pre thirties so from 1909 to 1929 as well as a bunch of indian headsets some copper nickel indian headsets as well as some flying eagle scents and just to be a little more extra i also put a little bit of barber coinage barber dimes or seated dimes as well just to make it stand out i put them all through a coin sorter and they all go into the penny slot because i kind of modified the coin sorter to have it all go into the penny slot so this is one random unsearched roll of wheat cents well wheat cents aren't the only sense we're talking about if that makes any sense so the next thing i have is a 1817 large scent it does have a hole in it right here uh i chose this particular one just because the person who i'm sending this to uh decided to put a picture of their united states typeset and i noticed they did not have one of these so i decide why not just gift it to her on from one i don't have two or three because uh just running low on those but let's go over to five i did a pair of buffalo nickels they are dateless and pretty worn slick but they are buffalo nickels you cannot get mad at that next up an 1869 shield nickel now i also noticed that the person who i'm sending this to does not have a shield nickel without raise this has a fair amount of detail on it of course not the greatest one just because the higher grade shield nickels are incredibly incredibly pricey moving on from that let's go to 10 i have a 1934 x f silver mercury dime and look at the condition on this that would make a great upgrade in someone's typeset moving on from dimes let's go to quarters this one is a 2017 s enhanced proof ellis island quarter dollar now it has a fair amount of toning and the proof aspect of it has kind of been toned back a little bit but as you can see some parts are frosted more than others and there's layering to the sort of frosting and deep mirror proof as well as the entire obverse of the coin aside from the high fields the high points in the fields being polished and everything else being matte which is something i really like that the us mint did with their enhanced proofs moving on from there i have a 40 silver bicentennial proof quarter with a very nice cameo on it hard to find him in this condition i will say that this is a gorgeous gorgeous upgrade and it's silver so you can't get mad at that next up 1968 matte proof 40 silver half dollar moving on from 1968 let's go back a few years let's go to 1964 kennedy half dollar this is one of the most popular coins to be collected and boy is this one nice this one has a few scratches but honestly 90 silver that is one of the best things you can have in a collection moving that back a little bit more let's go to 1962 ben franklin half dollar this is a proof with gold toning on it now the gold toning is only on one side because if you look at the other side it is just a regular proof but i thought this is very cool and i wouldn't mind putting this in a album pretty nice i'm not sure quite how it got that toning because when i received this coin it looked like this and somehow turned to this moving on in 1978 ike dollar i love ike dollars they are my favorite dollars to collect but everybody's favorite dollars to collect boom a 1921 morgan silver dollar yes a morgan dollar fifty dollar coin grab back you better get a morgan dollar in there right these are awesome and i hope the person i'm sending to finds it just as awesome moving on from that i have one more dollar to show you all this is a 2007 s pcgs proof 69 deep cameo thomas jefferson presidential dollar now i love proof coins and some of the the presidential dollars and even sacco joao dollars that were minted have this amazing amazing proof just it's a beautiful coin i don't have any words for it now this would not be a silver picker coin grab bag swap without having the silver now this it is more of a generic silver but it is one ounce of 999 fine silver and this is in a beautiful proof finish and looks absolutely gorgeous well since we're on the topic of proof and silver let's go to this yes it's exactly what you think it is another beautiful proof set this one being from 1962 as well and yes this is silver this is silver this is silver this is metal that's a nickel and that's a penny me yes these are very nice they got a very interesting toning pattern on them and they are still wrapped in the original cellophane that the mint packs them in or used to pack them in and very nice that this nickel kind of turned black but it still has its proof it's almost like a gunmetal finish which is amazing one stipulation we also had again during this time was oddities last time i went for sports cards i have more sports cards this is more just a a smattering of sports cards that i just grabbed uh like michael jordan and phil jackson and mark bryant and just a whole bunch of other ones i have about 4 000 sports cards that i'm trying to get rid of and i thought no better way than to maybe give it to somebody who would like to start a sports card collection of their own this grab bag has been quite the adventure but it is not quite over yet just one last thing and that is this this is a pearl harbor and japanese invasion coin and currency set this features a japanese government invasion note which is a note that the japanese government created with intent to distribute to the countries of which they invaded as well as a 1941 jefferson nickel a 1942 silver war nickel 1943 steel penny and a 1944 shell case penny now these are very cool and have very cool historical relevancy and this is just an awesome piece of wartime era remembrance sort of regalia as to describe it and i think the person who i will give this to is going to really appreciate this set well this has been a very very cool coin grab bag this is what i am sending out now i can't wait to see the one that i receive let me know down in the comments below if this is a coin grab bag that you would be happy to receive all right now without further ado let's open up the package that i received [Music] all right looks well packaged very well packaged all right this is definitely a grab bag i don't know quite how to approach this oh my goodness i just took a look at it we're gonna slow roll this opening and let's start with this all right seems to be some two by twos will it we'll say it is very well packaged uh just to keep up mystery oh okay here we go that was easy oh they're still packaged together okay we'll open those afterwards okay i put these slightly off camera let's go ahead and take a look oh an 1865 indian headset fancy five that must be a variety i'm not quite well-versed when it comes to varieties but this is in quite nice shape it's in a has some red left to it some red brown it is a little bit uh rubbed away a lot of the details but an 1865 indian head penny you can't get mad at that that's really nice next up oh a 1936 buffalo nickel as you can see on this one this has the liberty and the date still intact so this is in a very good condition oh not a lot of them stay like this just because of all the raised elements in this design that the five cents and the liberty and the date tended to get worn away the first because they were the highest points on the coin [Music] next up oh i love the nickels these are my absolute favorite favorite coin design that the united states has ever produced it's so simple especially this v right here absolutely gorgeous i love v nickels thank you so much [Music] next up looks like we got three wheat pennies uh steel steel wheat cents steel sense in varying conditions almost uncirculated brilliant uncirculated and very fine condition this is a 1943 s a 1943 d and a 1943 plain date which is minted in philadelphia as you can see this one was replated in zinc just to give it its really shiny almost proof like appearance the 1943 d however was not replated as you can see it is definitely uncirculated no dings perfectly clean stainless steel and here is the vf this seems to like it was also replated at some point just to give it that proof like finish nothing wrong with that honestly it is technically ruining a coin so i can't exactly recommend it but it does make the steel sense come out pretty nice there we go oh a 1914 that's nice i also like the way it toned it's like this got tiger stripes that is very cool absolutely and it it's got very good detail i'll say look at that you can see the 1914 liberty and in god we trust on it very very nicely very easily that is cool get a couple more that are wrapped up in in tape and i know who sent this to me you did a really good job in trying to keep the mystery oh no i don't want to quite rip i don't want to quite rip it i don't want to ruin the 2x2 quite so much looks like we have ah bicentennial set i love the bicentennial era coinage so as you can see this is the bicentennial quarter now you can see the typical quarter design which i have right here uh on the reverse it shows an eagle however in uh 1976 commemorating the bicentennial they changed the reverse to the drummer boy now i love that they did this and i'm hoping when they have the tricentennial in 2076 they do something similar next up we have a bicentennial half dollar very cool this one depicts independence hall on the reverse very nice very simple very nice lastly we have the bicentennial eisenhower dollar i love eisenhower dollars ike dollars are some of my favorite favorite coins this one on the back shows the liberty bell and the moon basically symbolizing the moon landing and the piece it's a very symbolic i really like the bicentennial era coinage back into the bag we go let's see here pick something at random let's get this bag here all right oh that's cool this must be the oddities oh nice all right let me zoom out just a little bit there we go this must be the oddities we did have a [Music] a stipulation of oddities like we had last time around bsa oh i love it i used to be a boy scout these are bsa patches these are really cool kentucky virginia boxing council bsa very cool scout world nas 1991 armed forces day 1992 scout world armed forces day good turn day oh that's that's a nice look at that nassau county council bsa troop 71 soar i love patches i don't know quite how they were able to get embroidery to look so nice but it is really cool this is a hand but it's also depicting a mountain his hill and the palm of the hand is a river pond sort of body of water and it's supposed to it's really nice i love it it's so cool catalina council arizona southern catalina council arizona that's nice bobcat ah this is a uh this is a cub scout i believe this is a cub scout rink bobcat uh correct me if i'm wrong i never was in in cub scouts but i was a boy scout north florida boy scouts of america that is really cool i'm not quite sure who that's supposed to depict but that's kind of cool um i don't exactly know exactly what it is but it's nice andersonville national historical site history hike moving right on to the next thing in this grab bag this grab bag is a lot of things in that is cool i don't have a lot of copper and i kind of wish i was more into copper but i'm not much into buying copper but this is a really cool walking liberty design very similar to the half dollar it is a very nice [Music] rendition i would say a replica replica of the whopping liberty design half dollar has the rated edges as well as you can see i'm going to put i'm going to pull it out of its 2x2 yep there you go it does have the readed edging and it is a almost one to one copy of the walking liberty half dollar [Music] very cool moving right on you know what i'm going to go ahead and stop right here and put on some gloves real quick so i will be back all right now that i have some gloves on let's see what i got next looks like a graded oh nice arizona state quarter pcgs pr 69 d cam these are awesome i love proof coins proof coins are some of my favorite coins honestly coins i love coins i can't i can't say i have a lot of favorites i guess i have a lot of favorites i love coins i love proofs i love like dollars i love v nickels i just love coin collecting but these are very nice i i have had many uh state quarters not quite arizona though i haven't had arizona i've had mostly things from the east coast so moving on okay another this one's an ngc 2006 s pf 69 ultra cameo nickel this is very cool look at the cameo on that that is perfect almost in my eyes and it is ngc very cool honestly i i can't really pick between which capsules i like better whether it's ngc or pcgs but if it's to be with the special edition capsules i'll have to go with pcgs and when it comes to signature or um special people who are going to be signing off on a card then i'm going with ngc but in general this is a nice very secure case no nobody's getting into this but this is very cool this may if i'm crazy enough make an upgrade in my typeset i might crack it out of the case and make a mic we might make a video on it if i could speak english well moving on oh there's so much stuff in here all right what do we have the good stuff open last okay i will definitely open that last uh i i see that they've taken a approach to how i make um grab bags i like to kind of wrap everything up and make it um kind of fun to experience let's oh okay i think i know what this is oh you're crazy you are crazy look at that that olympia i'm gonna take this out that is so cool a commemorative dollar i don't have a lot of commemorative commemorative dollars in fact i only have one and i love proof i'm making a proof typeset and this is going to make an extremely extremely nice upgrade into my timeset i am so glad that i have this now thank you so much 1988s olymp the olympics very cool i love i love the way that the mint packages these uh these kind of commemoratives they do the same thing with their silver eagles and it's very cool very nice kind of velvety case uh very kind of classy i will say very classy moving on there we go i'm assuming there's some bills in here let's get into some bills i love currency don't try not to nick anything too much okay all right i don't want to damage anything let's go ahead and slow roll this a little bit and go one by all right we got a one let's see what we got here a silver certificate nice this is a very good condition silver certificate i am going to pull it out of its little sleeve here yeah it's a very nice it's got one center fold but otherwise very clean note very nice it would be great if if only i didn't have a very very nice one in my currency type set who knows it might upgrade all right next things next let's see here all right we got a two ah red seal series oh 63. i don't have a series 1963. uh most of the ones of this design uh mostly they just started this design back in 53 when it was really popular i have a ton a ton of 1953 red seal two dollar bills i don't have any 63s though so this is definitely my first 1963 great great great bill very nice it's not too expensive and it's a great currency collection starter for anybody anybody's collection it's it's awesome moving on looks like we got a few fives here all right this is one of those greenbacks so it's probably a silver certificate five look at that i love i i'm not a big fan of the silver certificate ones but the silver certificate fives and tens those are really cool i don't have a 10 yet unfortunately but i do have a couple of fives this is a series 1950 [Music] [Music] all right now it's the wrap up of the roll first roll looks like we got a 1900 and a 1892 indian head penny these are very nice uh they look like to be philadelphia mint and the notables that we have we had a lot from the 30s and a lot from the 50s not so many from the 40s which is quite unusual as you can see here and from the teens and the teams we have is a 1918 i'm not sure if you can quite see the date and from the 20s of note we have a 1925 and a 1920 being the oldest of the 20s that's very cool let's move on to the second roll [Music] oh i can't tell [Music] child no way [Music] hold on hold up we got a 1909 [Music] 1909 let's check for the vdb all right i'm not seeing a vdb but that's still very cool a 1909 these are really nice to have back to the hunt okay now that was a very interesting role because it was almost the exact opposite of the first roll you can see i have the first roll lay it up laid out right here up on top and the second roll right on the bottom now the two most to note is this 1909 uh p it is not the vdb however it's still a 1909 so you can't get mad at that a little rough condition but again still it's a 1909 and a roll [Music] and then this clipped planchet 1919 wheat cent now we're going to zoom in on this pretty good as you can see right here on this corner right here it is a clipped planchet now these this is not quite a major clip but it is still a clipped planchet in a teens wheat penny so that is very cool very nice wheat cents i will say very nice [Music] back into the bag this bag is amazing this is one of the nicest bags that i have received thus far i've ordered from ebay and a couple of the other exchanges this is probably one of my favorites or if not the favorite let's see here what's next we've got a couple more things let's go with this on the bottom first what do we have here oh sorry coin book ledger of u.s coins oh okay that's really cool uh from coin world this um yeah this is uh yeah it's a ledger of all the uh major coin types uh when you would have purchased them and when you yeah the amount you paid and notes that's cool that's uh kind of like a spreadsheet but on uh but you know in a book that is very nice i've never seen this before it's just really cool when were you printed 1994 almost press sydney ohio second edition this is cool i have never seen this i would also count this as an oddity because i've never seen this before that's really cool moving on uh looks like we have a bag of foreign coins all right foreign coins okay that's the emptiness of the bag it's our second to last item a bag of foreign coins that looks like i'm gonna have to get that mat out on this again all right here we go [Applause] all right oh wow look at all the different kinds of coins here that's cool ah i see it i see it ah nice five rupees from india you know i'm indian that's uh that's nice i like that some other stuff to note this is a five rupees from the state government of pakistan i'm not sure if this is silver not to look it up that is cool it looks silvery but it is from 2005 so i'm pretty sure it is not silver but correct me if i'm wrong down in the comments below let's see we have john gorin okay central bank of china uh 2005.1 [Music] uh this is a bank of indonesia this is like this is one of those aluminum coins aluminum coins are so cool uh this is from the state bank of indonesia yep i got a couple of those so we got a few indonesian bank coins this one's 100 rupiah these ones are 200 rupiah i love scalloped edge this is hong kong 20 cents from hong kong very nice 500 rupiah from the uh bank of indonesia we have here two two rupees from uh is this ceylon uh ceylon present-day sri lanka i believe that's their crust typically i believe that is correct there's no edge lettering two rupees yep sri lanka cylon sri lanka i got a few of those another 100 rupiah from the bank of indonesia [Music] banco central [Music] five rupees from sri lanka [Music] bank of indonesia 500 rupiah [Music] sentiment philippines okay 25 centimo this is one rupee from sri lanka holy coins i love holy coins coins with holes in them central bank of philippines five centimo that's cool another pakistani coin five rupees or annas i'm not quite sure [Music] very nice assortment smattering that we have here i'm not going to quite go through all of these since there is quite so much but it i pulled out most of the things that kind of jumped out on me and if i find anything really interesting i will get back to the bank of korea 10 cents 10 10 something that is cool very cool all right here we go last item of the grab bag this is the good stuff supposed to open this one last doing as i'm told let's go ahead and get the knife out on this one be very very gentle this is apparently the good stuff uh not talking about drugs don't do drugs kids okay all right looks like we have a couple of a couple i say a few two by twos in here let's pull them out one by one there we go nice all right this is a flying eagle scent these are awesome um these i mean what can i say they're flying eagle scents you can't get mad at that uh this is from 1957. um this is the first denomination of the small sense that was issued this was the first design the flying eagle scent this was coming after the large scents the coronet had a large sense let me see if i can't get a an example this is a 1802 large scent and this is a 1857 flying eagle small scent you can see the difference of the scents they they went from large to small because copper and brass and whatever they were putting into here this is actually copper nickel what they were putting into here were more expensive uh so it wasn't quite economical to make this one scent if it was going to make be made of copper nickel so obviously it didn't make sense so they went to a smaller size all right next thing in this little goody bag here we got a three cent piece a three cent nickel from 1865. wow this one has seen better days that's nice though i love obsolete currency i mean i love currency and coins i i love numismatics uh three set nickel this is very cool it has a little bit of rim damage right here but other than that i mean it is a three cent nickel it is a great addition to everybody's typeset because it's that that slot that's kind of hard to fill that is very cool thank you so much all right uh now one more right here hey hey nice oh wow this is in very good condition this oh wow okay this is definitely upgrading in my typeset this is an 1869 two cent piece gs16 good okay it's it is a very very nice condition i mean i don't know if you can quite see the details on this thing look at that that is crazy are you crazy wow wow thank you so much this is definite upgrade to my type set for sure wow that's that's psyched psyched about that all right these are the heavy hitters of the uh oh this is okay this uh one two by two is wrapped in tape it must be one of those really special ones that are going to blow me away that's what i'm predicting how this is this is chunky it's probably going to be a silver dollar watch oh my goodness i can't open this for the life of me okay don't want to make the two of my teammates there we go no way oh my gosh no way are you crazy uh are are you crazy like actually to send them oh wow okay um i am speechless that is gord morgan are you serious a morgan dollar oh an 1878 s morgan dollar a you mint state beautiful rainbow toning oh my gosh oh you i am speechless honestly utterly speech this is gorgeous art all right i'm gonna need a sec i'm gonna need a sec just give me a sec [Music] all right now that i've gathered my senses a little bit this is an 1878 s morgan silver dollar it has beautiful rainbow toning to it it is definitely mint state i would not call it a you i call it mint state does have a little bag marks on the cheeks but that is very common for all morgan dollars this
